Well.. for me it was a dream as wel. Over my league. But I just started. It wil be my life work. So try to do it to! If you want you can check my Facebook page. Big scale tank build for regular updates 😊
It might be cool if you could incorporate some original tiger 1 parts somehow. I know the scale is off but maybe some original tiger 1 bolts and nuts would be cool.
Hello Marcel, this is a real big thing. I do this in 1:16 scale RC, an you have my full respect for doing this in a much, much bigger scale! Nice work, good luck for the upcoming steps!
Really cool. Been working on a much smaller scale for a long time it's a 1/16 tiger 1 tank. Trying to make everything work as close as I can like the real tank. Got a scale Sherman 90% finished. Just like tanks.
Marcel Very well done on a very interesting project, stay with it. I look forward to the completion and seeing it in action! Good luck with everything.
I can‘t believe this video hit my radar only after 3 months.. I am Tank aficionado especially the German Panzer and Tiger 1 is my all time ko.1 Good Job Sir this is so cool.. I will share this video to my friends. More project to come! 💯🙏🏼
Marcel: By any chance, do you have any prints/plans, dimensions for the turret? I am finally working on my Tiger 1 in 1:3 scale and machining the barrel, mantlet, recoil system, breech, outer barrel support, flanges, and muzzle brake. Next will be the turret and could use any help you can send my way. Thanks Bill
Hi Bill, no I haven't. Maybe you can find something at tiger1.info? I'm not yet that far. Good luck! And if you want you can show your project at my Facebook page. Big scale tank build
Hey Ronald.
Looks like a cool project but I have a question on your suspension system. If the road wheel axles are straight and go threw bearings on both sides of the arm. Bearings that are ridged mounted to the frame BTW. What is the arm and shock for? It's a straight axle, not a bell crank. It cannot move the arm that goes to the shocks
I'm curious to know why you opted to use springs and shocks over torsion bars like in the original tank? I recently came across your channel and decided to subscribe because I'm curious to see your progress and how long you take to actually build it. Good luck.
It was mainly a money thing! I checked for torsion bars but they are very expensive so I decided to do it like this. But hey, the whole interior will be different 😁
The way you have built your suspension is the same way I was gonna build my leopard 2 but I'm going the bike air suspension route so I can angle my tank
Seeing the modern way products are made, I wonder how long it would take the war era Germans, using those automated techniques to built an actual Tiger.
Now you may or may not know, but The Panzerlied (English: "Tank Song") was a Wehrmacht military march of the Nazi era, sung primarily by the Panzerwaffe, the tank force of Nazi Germany during World War II. It is one of the best-known songs of the Wehrmacht and was popularised by the 1965 film Battle of the Bulge. The modern-day German Army has discontinued its use, due to the song's Nazi origins.
That sure looks detailed and really cool, if you can construct it in 1:2 scale I would guess you could make a 1:1 scale also but maybe cost, space, and legal reasons prevent such an endeavour? Sure will be fun to see the tank progress and drive away, quite the hobby there :)
Hey Ridwan, I use a 2 cilinder Mag motor from a ransommes motor triple lawnmower to drive a hydrolic pump. So.i will drive on hydrolic. Stronger and easier 💪🏻
@@Tigermarcel Turret is located to front too far than it supposed to be. There is a gab between bottom of turret and superstructure. Turret is supposed to be asymmetry, but HL is symmetry. Direction of vision block of cupola is often inaccurate. Tail light is duplicated, only 1 on left side is correct. Anetna case is duplicated, only 1 on right side is correct. Screw head shaped part (for crane fook) on both side next to gunmantlet is missing. If you compare HL's Tiger to Tamiya's Tiger or Hilary Doyle's illustration, you will see what I'm talking about. HL doesn't know what they do.
In a very small number I believe they did. But I guess its a thing. The 1:16 scale tigers are almost all grey. But gor me it's the typical panzer colour
One of the best thing what I saw in my entire life...

Is the "Lied" from WW 2, or a song written for the movie you quoted?
@@j.lietka9406 I believe it was written or altered for the film just can't remember.

Yes. But I pay it by my self and its expensive. Every day I try to do something and I'm working on a nieuw video😊
When will part four happen

What was the specific song you used in this video?.
Great tank, by the way.

Why not increase production and sell completed units?
That's a thing. I use sll kind of scrap material and that difficult to find in more quantity

Final Part coming up soon?
It probably is going to take me some years cause of the costs. I pay everything all by myself.

Klopt. Maar dat werd me te duur. En je ziet het uiteindelijk toch niet dus ik koop voor deze oplossing
Why did you use Henglong's Tiger in the thumnail? Henglong's Tiger has serious problems in its propotion and detail.
Well. I just had one. What problems do they have🤔 when I checked several measurements online and it seems ok🤔
