Replica WW1 Tank Build

Just a history nerd that likes to work with metal, this is about 5 months of time lapse. Don’t work on it everyday as I still need to pay bills but I say the vid definitely shows progress. The WW1 French Renault FT17 is considered the worlds first modern tank. With crew compartment in the front with a fully rotating turret and engine separated to the rear of the hull, this early design is the continued layout for modern tanks. Due to the scrap drives of world war 2 and being a First World War tank in another world war many were lost in combat and few examples remain today. This example I’m building will be a running example for film and shows for fellow history nerds. Enjoy!
