Hey Sean, new subscriber due to my purchase of a 2017 F-250. Searching for, stuff about maintanance and modifying the truck, your channel popped up. I have already watched a ton of your vids. Awesome stuff and great ideas. Broadened my perspective about what I can do. Super helpful. Appreciate your channel more than I can say. It's also nice to have things in layman's terms instead of jargon. Only had my truck a week. So still learning. But there is so much to be done. Btw...I'm from right down the road in Midlothian. Always good to see someone from the area. Love supporting local, whether its UA-cam, brick and mortar, or online businesses. Anyway...RAMBLING...Keep up the great work and flowing with the great info.
This was my choice for a topper on my '18 f250. Love it! Make sure you lift it before you close the tailgate every time or you'll "push" it forward and have to realign it again. Love your vids/channel.
I just purchased a BAK Flip MX4 for my 2021 Ram 1500. Looking forward to installing it next week! Military discount with free shipping only cost $919.00. Great video!
I have this same bed cover for my ‘18 F350 LB. I give it a 7 out of 10..... which I feel is low for a $1000 cover. It looks good, I like that it sits flush. Over time with repeated folding, it’s starting to scratch the finish, which bugs the sh!t out of me! Im not crazy about blocking the rear glass while it’s completely folded up.
I just installed this same cover on my F350 last night. Install was super easy. One of my rod clips were broken though. I assume BakFlip will just replace that.
If you want to make sure the bed stays dry your going to have to put some kind of sealant or putty by the removal stake hole Covers water will get in there and make it inside the bed
Just installed same cover on my 2017 F20 about a month ago, cost a $1000.00 and the first time I took it through a touchless car wash, the corner piece in the front right corner of the bed came off. Luckily I found the piece and am going to glue it back on. Sure hope this cover holds up better moving forward.
I’m gonna keep an eye out for this. I do hand wash my truck but will be cautious of pieces coming off. I’m going to give it some time and do a follow up review in a few months.
Man this cover was awesome till I got stuck in a pea sized hail storm. It can damage very easy and looks like shit now on my truck... kinda looks like someone just lit it up with a Airsoft gun. My opinion they should have used Polymer or something for the top instead of very thin aluminum.
That is no good! I will keep that in mind for any future storms. I am pretty good about finding cover if I know there is a storm coming through that will produce hail.

Having a bed cover is very helpful you will ask yourself why did I wait so long. Now comes the bed lighting? I hope.
So 3 years later… what’s your feedback.. looking to install one
You will like the Bakflip best one I ever bought.
Someday you will have to explain that driveway situation look like you Share one with a neighbor how does that even work
Should have got the diamond back one you can put 1600 lbs on it and securely lock it it's all aluminum
Great video.
Do you notice any rattling going down the road?
No rattling.
Do you think I could still use my third brake light camera when backing into my fifth wheel with this cover?
I have the same question with my gooseneck. Why is it so hard to answer a simple question?
Did you put the bulkhead on over a spray in bed liner?
Yup

Have same cover on my 17 F350 with 8ft Bed. Hail got the best of mine also. Going back to a fiberglass topper as it will work better for what I do.
Is it a long bed ?
No sir.
Moostang 09 Will this fit an 80 inch bed sir?
