Cool thing is this music is super catchy but also super abstract, all the lyrics, especially the weird ones from Jon, are meant to be deciphered in a very personal way. Hell even the instrumentals and the music videos are just so weird and artistic and amazing. It helps that jon is an artist beyond just his music, he makes a bit of the art and imagery for the band

DGD is a fantastic band. It might take people a little bit to get use to them, but once you get into them... there's just no one else like them. Mothership is (IMHO) their best release. However... they're all pretty darned good.
