I haven't tried any of their products but they have a reputation of good quality for the price. I can think of a lot of ways to use this. Nut drivers, folding knives, camp kitchen etc. The bread bag is my camp kitchen currently and it is excellent and beautiful in its simplicity! Best wishes my friend!
Yep. Thus roll bag looks solid for sure. And you right, like those uses....are now I git to get more...lol. thanks for watching 👍 always appreciated. Hmmm. I looked at thevwebsite.. they have bigger ones that may be a better idea. Tear out pouches. ...hmmm. be safe out there
Thank you for the review George, looks like a well made product. I had not thought about using a tool roll for my every day carry. This would certainly help me be better organized. Take care.
Lol..yep. there are alot of choices, the bigger ones they have gave some great possibilities to organise everything in one place...pretty interesting. Be safe my friend
👍 I like it when people go out into nature to do their product presentations and product testing. It's much more authentic than sitting at home and then just chattering stupidly. Ok, I'm not a whittler and have no idea if it's necessary to carry so many blades. Personally, I would sort out some of them to save space and weight.
I appreciate your support. With you and hey its a reason to get outdoors. You are right, I could probably cut the knives down...but .....I am a over packer but nature....lol. thats why I try to find better bags etc...hopefully to help...it never does but the thought is there. Try whittling very 😌. Be safe out there
High George, nice compact tool roll you got. You are worried about your sharp knives damaging it? Get some PVC-piping, cut it to size, heat it and mold it around the blades. The thin-walled stuff will do. For heating you can use a heat gun or an oven, for molding use insulated leather gloves or get you some PU-foam-pad, 1-2" thick and two boards, to clamp it down between them. I use several Moras (e.g. fish-butcher-knives 1030SP/1040SP) that come without a sheath and made some from PVC-piping this way. Living in coastal northern Germany, I prefer plastic over leather for the sheath and stainless steel blades. Your old tool roll has an awesome patina, hope you restitch it and don't utilize it for something else.
I did the water pipe tube sheath heat form. The knife is long and narrow. I formed a belt loop with a locking curl. Great for under 4x4 seat to cut brush from mirror's!
@@2ndchancegeorge yes George you have my support it’s a great channel more so the the novice ‘s plenty to learn , we are learning all the time. You take care mate .
I have been watching you for a little bit now,and I like this channel. One Question......The word Spam shows up on shirts and hats on your channel......Do they sponser you? Yeah, I know I can't spell....lol
Lol...no. its just little old me. Long story. But visit the museum every year and pick up stuff at the store. It's my annual clothes drive. Thanks for watching always appreciated
They are sharp and most important THIN with a very low edge angle so the whittle/carve very well. Wood doesn't wear on edges very much much so long as the steel is stable enough to support the edge angle. A proper whittling knife cuts wood extremely well.
won't be a bad idea to somehow manage to use just one handle on multiple detachable blades... most of what you carry is ''handles'' they take all the space... anyway nice upgrade!

Looks great. Now you can use the leather from the llt toolbag to make sheaths for the small whittling knives. Looking forward to that video

Huh...that is a great idea. 👍. Thanks for sharing. Not sure what I will dobwith the leather roll. 🤔. Many thanks for the support and be safe out there
I'm not George but that's an excellent idea and I think I'm going to do that with my knives and my tool roll thank you for the suggestion

Very nice tool rol
Yep well made. Thanks for watching always appreciated. You be safe out there
I've looking for a roll for my carving kit and this looks ideal! I have a set of auger bits this would work for also. Thanks George.
Check you length of what's going in. They have bigger ones too. Thanks for watching. You wont be dissapointed. Be safe
Cut the handle down on ceramic rod. Make a sheath for detail knife. Just a couple thoughts. Have a great day
Yep, just saw a comment on making plastic sheaths from pvc pipe. Gonna try that.
Throw a large pencil eraser in there to clean up that ceramic rod between sharpenings. It really works wonders.
Thankyou great tip 👍
Very nice 👍
Thankyou sir. Appreciate you stopping in on the live. Be safe

Being a whittler myself I've often wondered how those old timer carving knives work. Are they sharp?

I had to touch up one orv2 but they work pretty good.
@EDCandLace thank you for the input on the whittling knife.

Hmmm. Good idea. I'll have to look at that. Thankyou. Be safe
Thankyou 😆
I see holes in that rolls future
Going to make sheaths to fit...well that's the plan...lol. be safe
