- One of my favourite games of all time has no replayability, and that's a good thing.

originally the video was 22 minutes long for the Joke, but i decided to trim it down cuz it got a bit repetitive in places. maybe it still is. well either way, hope you enjoy!
dont worry man it's okay I have been enjoying your content for such a long time thanks for you keeping up your work!
7:27 fun fact, it’s hinted at throughout the game that your ship’s computer is made out of the same material that the memory statues and masks are made of. It’s therefore implied that the reason your ship log saves through time loops is because the data is being sent back through the ATP as well, just like the player’s memories are.
it's spesifically stated by hal, but only in before you activate the statue in the first loop and only if you talk to them twice.
This is honestly one of the best games i have ever played. Almost no games get some kind of big emotional reaction out of me. But i cried when i saw the end. Not tears of sadness mind you, just a slurry of emotions at the pure wonder i was feeling. So i urge anyone who has any interest in playing this game to go in as blind as possible.
Oh also make sure to talk to Gabbro on giant's deep after a few cycles. He'll teach you how to meditate and essentially force a new cycle to start. It's helpful for if you ever get stuck somewhere or you miss a chance to do something.
Normie material: YES YES YES!!!/NO NO NO!!!
Chad QUANTUM material: Perhaps.
The irl bits are funny and good, simultaneously.
I wonder if you're going to go over Pathologic 2.
It's a very emotional experience, and the log mechanic from the Outer Wilds reminded me of The Lines from Pathologic.
It's a bit heavy on writing, but the amount of emotion you experience over one playthrough is staggering.
I LOVE how you said "well if that's the case then take it easy" which then wasn't the case, but after the reset at the end of the video it was!
How have I never been recommended this channel before? I literally search for new outer wilds video essays every few weeks.
Outer Wilds is a game that immensely frustrated me. But that frustrating became what I took from this game. Don't fixate on the past. Move on and see what the future holds for you. "You saw a hundred beautiful things before, but if you move on you might see a thousand."
I'm sad I'm only gonna experience it once. But I'm happy I got to.
This actually launched me into finally playing and finishing it, and I'm incredibly glad I did so. Thank you for pushing me to finally do it connor!
Love the live-action stuff.
P.S. The blue hair covering your right eye, reminds me of Makoto/Minato
Outer Wilds Only Works Once (And That's OK!)
No, it's not! I wish I could re-experience it! re-explore this tiny solar system from scratch, knowing nothing and learning it all again! :'(
no man, it is a platformer. you can always retake the challenging path of each planet, it is awesome.
*_Great Job!_*
You convinced me to purchase and download a game I had no intentions of actually aquiring it in the first place.
Out of spite, I will play and complete the game for the next few following hours, and get mad at myself for the next 72 hours.
been a long time since I've been subscribed since I got really sick of Payday but it's nice to see you've changed too. very good video! happy to see you're more open with your identity as well :) stay strong!
Probably my favorite game of all time
did you combine something with Daryl talks games, because both of you talked about outerwilds in your latest videos, both on the same hour and the one time experience. Great vid by the way
That stick has either a package peanut or big marshmallow on the end of it, and I cannot tell which.
Also, you had great restraint to not use MoonMen.
i bought a big pack of marshmallows to use for this video andalsoeat and didn't realize they were square, so it's a big ol square marshmallow
Literally just finished binging a shit ton of your videos
Just like life.
Its such a shame your views are getting low now. Your still very entertaining and funny.
I don't know why but this game reminds me of no man's sky but like not rushed
Same. No mans sky did get a lot of updates and is still getting them so might wanna check it out

Thanks for the spoiler warning put this in my watch later I will be back
Oh shit, I thought it said Outer Worlds
yes
Fun fact: if you drown in the geyser on your home planet the game rolls the credits
Edit: before you get your memory stored
i swear to god connor, if you make me cry a second time after i played the game like with RIME i'm not gonna play the next game you'll recommend.
well... that's what i'll say anyways...
Why do you have a marshmallow on a stick in doors
it's nomai,not noami T_T
but this video was great, entertaining and pretty fun...simultaneously!!!!
oh dang whoops
Love you
Ship log doesn’t reset.
My friend told me to download this game I was super spectacle
Whoa what am i really that early?
i had to google a lot of stuff and that kinda ruined the game for me
Another game i cannot afford
If you have steam play unfortunate spacemen it’s a good game and it free
I still regret refunding this game for shadow of war. Once i get the chance to buy it again, I will conquer my fears of those anglers.
I feel accomplished that I managed to be this early on the video
