This thing is so cool!
And it looks like it’s going to be VERY capable.
Thanks Matt! We will find out very soon how capable it is😜
It will be interesting to see how the s10 with leaf springs performs against the coil boys !!
Coolest build in years out of anybody. Square body S10 awsome! Won Tons! Double kit. Sweet bed design. nifty tricks like driveline mounting location.
Dude, watching you work out of your garage without a lift and all the other fancy shop stuff proves it is possible to do kick ass builds in a home garage. Good job.
Also how do I vote for you on ON X?
Link is in the description 👍
Colt is keeping it real for all us!
My thoughts exactly!!! Both other teams have shops with lifts and other advantages...amazing to see what Colt can do with the type of tools and equipment I can actually afford!!!
You did one heck of a job on this while doing it in a small garage using budget friendly tools and kudos to Matt for coming out and making a couple of cameo appearances to help you out! The lil' S10 turned out AWESOME!
Thanks 👍
Been voting every day! We finally got you back in the lead!
Great job on the S10 build Colt. I have worked out of a 400 square foot garage for over 40 years on hot rod rat rods and a few 4x4 s. 1978 fj40 was my last project. Much respect. All 3 teams should be invited to UA this year. Just my opinion.
good morning that is a bad ass S10. You proved that you don't have to have a fully equipped garage to do an amazing build like this.
You guys did an amazing job well done
That things bad ass guys, awesome job! I’m a little disappointed it doesn’t have half doors 😂
It's got A/C instead
Fair trade off
Roll Cage coming along Nicely @BleepinJeep
Rig came out great guys @BleepinJeep
Colt you move quick! Like TV magic stuff.. seen it thought no it cant be done yet then this video comes out now im bewildered! Great looking rig, wanna see it wheeling!
I like how you incorporated pieces of the factory front bumper into the tube bumper, killer job.
Just got to say all the rides in this competition are awesome but the s10 is my favorite. It’s something I would build and drive. Its awesome guys I hope you two win.
Last checked the voting at 8:30 and they are now 285 votes ahead, please people keep voting please. Let's keep them in the lead, the end of the building is about done and then the real challenge begins.
I can not wait to see this s10 cruzin those trails in Moab.
Job well done guy's 👍🏻
Thanks, trail videos coming soon!
You guys have provided the best Onx Challenge Videos
That head liner insulation stuff is a great idea! I have a 1985 Suburban I'm making into a off road camping unit. It has the junk falling down factory head liner. Great build on this S-10!
The cut from Matt’s first day to the last was crazy haha! You guys must have dumped the cameras to just work nonstop to finish in time and I don’t blame you. What an awesome build. Kudos Colt, and I’m glad you helped too Matt! I’ve been voting daily and I hope you guys get to go on UA. Long time bleepy fan.
I know it's a vote to win challenge your competing for but... You should win just for the amazing content you put out showing your bootstrapping skills and hard work. Thanks for all the effort to share it with your viewers. Good luck!
I really hope you all win the challenge. Great build.
This is such a cool build. Can't wait to see it in action. Please everyone set a daily reminder to vote on your phone.
GREAT job Colt and Matt. Truck looks AWESOME.
Dudes! Can't wait to see you all win this thing! Myself and so many others have grown attached to this build like it was our own. Great job fellas!
Fingers crossed!
@@bleepinjeep got em crossed down here in Oklahoma for y'all as well!
I have always wanted to watch someone build a UA rig. Now I'm inspired to make my rig UA worthy. I love the S10 platform too
Cage looks nice and clean against the body And they are hard to see from a distance which is nice it blends well with the truck @BleepinJeep
Love the bumper simple and sweet but also functional @BleepinJeep
S10 is looking sick love the build
I hope y'all win the challenge. I love the way you talk us through what you are doing. Wishing you te best of luck.
Colt I really enjoy watching your videos. I appreciate the time you take to teach tips, tricks and the basics of your builds. Great work and I can't wait to see this truck wheeling in Moab. 👍
Awesome build guys. I don't need to say it because u guys made an amazingly beautiful/awesome build but I'm gonna anyway good luck I hope u guys win, and I watch everybody's channel's and not just for this build off I actually watch and wait for new video's from everyone.good luck guys can't wait to see u on UA
wow this pretty dam inspiring how nice this build turned out. really came together nice at the end. hope you guys wheel the snot out of it!
We’ll done gentlemen!!! That rig is really sick all your work shows!! Good luck🤞👍👀👏
Everything looks awesome Colt. Have to admit I'm a bit envious......I don't have much on the line of fab skills, lol.
That scenery from your shop into town is georgious!!
It's looking really good guy's, so glad Matt showed up for the home stretch. That S 10 is badass would love to own it.
Killer build guys! Stoked to see it wheeling. I too have been stuck behind the corvette club and wondered why they bought a corvette 🤔
I LOVE the fact you kept those bumpers so stock-looking! I can't believe how awesome all 3 of these rigs are turning out on a 15k budget!!!! Also, I'm very impressed that your tubing bending and notching station is built on a Harbor Freight welding table! Proof that you don't need everything to be high-dollar to produce a high-quality result!! Ha ha ha! Corvette owners drive slow because they are all old and retired and have nowhere to be...and usually even slower if there is a junior high school nearby...
Also, some older Corvette drivers have realised, that the speed "limit", is the the "uppermost limit", legally, not the "minimal" speed, that you "must" drive at!
@@Nic26482648 as long as they are in the right-most lane, that's not a problem either!
Definitely the best build in this challenge, can’t wait to see it in the challenge!
Hell yes! Super excited to see everyone battle it out, all the builds are coming together great, BLEEPINJEEP has my vote for sure!
Mine also seance the voting began.
👍🏻
I want that rig. Great job. Voting every day. Just paint the rock slides.
Awesome build fellas! Your gonna crush the competition in Moab... you always had my vote! 😁👍👍💪💪
Been voting for yall every chance i get. That s10 has turned out BA!
This is a fantastic build, by an awesome team! I’ve been voting for you guys every day, since day one. 🙂
Thanks so much
It was super awesome getting to run into the two of you in Rapid City that day. Took a minute for it to click in that you are actually real people haha!
Thanks for the invite to use the shop in Sturgis👍
@bleepinjeep anytime! Be an honor to treat you to some BBQ some day as well
Not just well equiped, but IMO best looking S-10 have seen! Great Job Colt, and ok, Matt too! LOL Good luck in Moab!
I have really enjoyed this build series. Thank you for all you work
This thing is bad ass. I love all the attention to detail and how nicely everything is mounted it even seems like it might be pretty comfortable too. It would be super sweet if you could throw a cheap and fast paint job on there, like the roll on on rats' nest or even some plasti dip.
Can't wait to see you guys compete in this beast
You have made a beauty for sure. It looks awesome and sounds awesome, Kudos to you Colt for such an excellent job and Kudos also for Matt for helping out when needed. I can't wait to see you guys wheeling this machine. I like the hand grab you did for Matt but like he said, "Why doesn't he get a triangle at the back of the roll cadge” eh?
Very informative Colt love your work
I've been voting almost every day. This team and Build Rocks !! 💪
You can vote every 12 hours.
Thanks
I like this build. You kept it looking stock. Looks really good.
Loving your work guys 👍
31:09 An idea you might want to give a minute to consider:
You're saying it's expected to get hot hot hot on the lid of your OnX Offroad Chevvy Blue Meeny.
That you're not having a removable roof:
Away back when the world was still in black & white, before aircon in cars was ever a thing. British Army and RAF Landrovers on tropical deployments had an extra skin over the roof, say an inch off, from sheet aluminium, fibreglass, whatever, that kept the suns rays from beating on the roof, cooking the drivers compartment.
A wee gap between the roof and the 2nd skin, airflow worked to cool things too.
Maybe improve your gas mileage, take some load off the coolant system under the hood
You know - competition, incrimental performance improvements, every little helps!
Here's a link below, to a clip of 'Ace Ventura - when nature calls' featuring such a vintage Landrover, with its trick double-skinned roof/sun-hat.

The truck look’s seriously cool . Nice job guys .
I'm glad there back in the lead on the build challenge
Matt is always so calm and cool lol. Thanks for helping build my dream truck. Someday I will own and build it like yours
You'll smoke the competition with that 1.5 ton jack. That vertical mount you came up with looks real slick! I've been trying to figure out a better vert option and think you're onto something there. Good luck in the competition!
You are a true professional attention to detail is second to none l wish you lived in Australia 🇦🇺 😊 good luck you deserve it all
Wish we could go wheeling in Australia!
Very clear and instructive videos. Much enjoyed. Thanks
Awesome job as always. Good luck to you both. Rooting for you in SC.
Man ive enjoyed this build series, sterted following nate and daves build but i prefer to watch you guys (by that i mean colt XD) with the right attitude you can do anything you want and this build series prove that, very well done, cheering for you from sweden!
Awesome job you guys are awesome can’t wait to see how it does on the trails and hope you guys win!!!
I really love how this truck is coming out. Love the videos thanks
This is the best build hands down. Nobody else even comes close.
Love y’all’s content brother 😊
That truck is a monster! I see you did cut open the rear wheel well. I thought it looked like it would've rubbed. Great work on the truck 👏
still voting 2 times a day. I cant wait to see this thing do some stuff. Colt you are the man!
I 34:40 if they aren't telling us a fib, OnX now has Colt an Mat are 121 vote's ahead now, keep it going all you great people's out there🎉 celebrate for now. But don't celebrate too much cuz the Long Haul is now upon us, we have to keep voting every day will get it and we'll watch Colt and Mat do the Ultimate Adventure....
This channel is the best!
Bonus points if you can still vent the rear wing windows Colt!!
We’ve closed that gap. It’s gone from hundreds to trailing by 23. Still voting every day.
Ahead by 51 now!
looking great! love the air and jack mounting locations!
So awesome, love this build. The front bumper is freakin awesome, love how it integrates with the stock lights, looks super slick. Such an awesome build, can't say it enough. I appreciate the time you take to explain what you are doing and why.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Your explanation of how to align the notches using your technique with the scrap piece in the initial notch to get a "true" on the other end is greatly appreciated. I am not building a rollcage or anything like that. What I am modifying is a steel set of roll-around steps like used in a warehouse. It consists of steel steps that top out at around 48" from the ground with the accompanying hand rails. The frame work is made up of 1" diameter steel round tubing. The casters are internally sprung with little 4' diameter wheels designed for concrete floors. I have to mount casters (2 swivel, 2 fixed) with 8" "knobby tires" to roll around the gravel and sand here at the house. The steps/stair case is to be used to reach the roof tops of my leveled Z71 Tahoe and my wife's 4Runner so we can wash them. I have "pool noodles" I am going to zip tie to the hand rails so no metal to metal contact can be made. The 1" tubing I have to notch is to re-enforce the bottom of the framework and to provide for mounting plates to attach the casters at each corner. I am 65, fairly mechanically inclined but I was having a little bit of a time trying to figure out how to get the notches to line up so I can have them ready for the welder to do his thing. My welding sucks (and that was stick welding) plus with a pacer-defibrillator I was advised not to use a welder. You have helped me so much.
Very nice ! I would put a green stripe right were you bobbed the bed.
Let's go people, Bleepin vote time. This S10 is rocking!💥
How do I know if my vote is counted.
I’ve had a ton of trouble with the Onx website.
Turned out really nice. Yrs ago I had an '87 S-10 extended cab I traded for with a bad trans. Plan was to swap in a th350/205 passenger drop. And fullwidth chevy's. Ended up having title issues so it never happened. Seeing this I kind of wish it did.
Thanks so much for all the info on how to do things.
Tried to vote repeatedly but it hasn't let me for weeks now! Stinks
That bumper is cool
The s20 build is coming along nicely and looking real good colt
Nice modified floor jack
I have a couple pieces of leather cow hide I believe, that I use when I'm welding. I have a big itchy fire blanket thing too but typically I always use the leather. I have one piece that's smaller like 4x5 feet and that piece is great, then I have a larger piece I don't use as often but it's nice for covering carpet and stuff in the car. The leather doesn't leave itchy stuff all over and it's just so nice to use especially when using on car interiors. I've draped it over dashes and seats and even myself and I think it's better for just about everything. I mainly use the fiberglass blanket to wrap things and keep the heat in. I'd highly suggest finding a piece of leather cow hide and trying it I think you'd love it.
that has to the baddest looking s10 on the road thank you 2 for sharing and good luck
Colt, you made a silk purse out of a sow's ear. The burns, cuts and scrapes on your arms verify you built it !
I LOVE this truck! Hope you guys get to go on ultimate adventure. Can’t wait to see it wheel either way.
That S10 build should smoke the competition !
Very nice build. It turned out better than I hoped for. Thanks for sharing.
Looking Great! Can't wait to see what it can do and makes me want to do more modifications on my Jeep.
would change how the tank/jack are secured in. Adding a lock to ensure that if you step away from the rig that the gear is still there when you get back. For example when you are trailering it and spend the night in a hotel.
I'm looking forward to watching you guys. I voted for you. I hope you win
rig turned out nice!!
Truck looks amazing!
Good job u2, but the most work was done by Colt, and to him again I take my hat off to. You have done a wonderful job with what you had work with. Just like the average joe working out of his home garage with what he has.
Be blessed and safe out there on the ultimate adventure.
We all have to keep voting for Colt and Mat please.
Absolutely EPIC! I wish I could have seen yall when I was in SD last week
Good looking roll cage for a small truck like that.
Acetone is how you keep from having a million marks on your bender dye. Also if you can modify a jack using the air over hydraulic bottle jack it would make that jack AMAZING!
Awesome build! I wouldn't mind having one like this.
You can install a snorkel tube in your powertank so you can mount it horizontal and low out of harms way.
This truck is looking awesome!
That bumper turned out really cool.
I love it . Well done.
Love the truck and the stock bumper 👍
@7:52 and colt Looking for the tape measure right in front of him was like my life story!!!
❤ this s10 build 🎉
