I am truly impressed with Colt's fab skills! Used to have a 4wd S10 but never knew what was possible with it! Colt and Matt absolutely deserve to go on the Utimate Adventure! Colt showed you can do amazing things with skills, imagination and a garage without a car lift. I was super jacked when he made the doubler work! Matt is my go to guy for all things XJ. His videos made my 6 years of XJ ownership possible. Thanks to you both!
I’d have to say that the S10 did the best on the trail. In particular moving the front axle forward and bobbing the bed gives this rig darn good approach and departure angles. Just a really well thought out approach to the build. Saving the bumpers and patina also make it the best looking rig of the three! Driver skill is also a vital factor in my mind, Colt did a great job wheeling the S10. 👍🏼👍🏼
Colt, I’ve got to give it to you. You definitely know your stuff, building AND driving. The S-10 was clearly the best of the bunch and worked flawlessly and you made it do it’s stuff on some really tough obstacles. Great work! Gotta say that I am a fan of all of the people on these channels, but Colt really deserves to win this. I can't think of anyone that I would rather have in my group for any kind of adventure. What a team player to have in any group and UA would be lucky to have him. Matt and Colt make a great team together and provide much more humor and fun to the sport.
I love the fact that you took the cheapest and most simple vehicle and kicked absolute butt out there. I think that shortening the bed to help with departure angle helped tremendously and might have been the best mod to the truck. Definitely a very capable and tough build. I must admit, I didn't think that S10 had a chance in heck at the beginning. Every time I watched your build videos though I was impressed by the huge transformation you accomplished. Just an amazing vision and accomplishment. Very experienced drivers in this competition but Colt's driving skills lifted the bar. Thanks for taking us along.
That thing is so sweet, even without the deductions just shy of 13k total is awesome! Definitely something someone with regular tools and maybe a couple specialty tools could pull off. Definitely inspiration for a future rig when I have the time and money

With Matt heckling and Colt stepping in to help when he saw the need both aspects that have always been a part of every group rock crawling trip I have been a part of and the embodiment of UA. I love how from the beginning Colt had an envisioned plan of what it would take to make the S10 a great rock crawler as well as still being a capable on-road truck and I believe He and Matt made that plan a reality all while sticking to an affordable budget and with tools most people have access to. Top that off with Colt's vast crawling skills behind the wheel and you end up with what I see as the best choice for UA by far. Most impressive job Bleepin Crew. Well done

Great choice of the vehicle. That flat belly, wide axles, and light chassis made that thing unstoppable....not to mention excellent driving skills and great attitude!
I'm on my 3rd Jeep (79 CJ7, 86 CJ7, 09 JK) but I was a Chevrolet mechanic back in the early eighty's. I'm loving the S10 just climbing and showing everyone up!! I bought my wife a brand new 95 S10 4x4 exteded cab and she still talks about how much she loved that truck.

Rudy had the right idea but should have stuck with leaf spring front. Already had the v8 power and full size truck strength frame
yes, they are really good trucks and 4x4 beast they go through almost anything cause how light they are, but stock hight they bottom out quick.
