I BEGGED my hardcore Ukrainian/Yugoslav-ex Commie father to let my older brother borrow the car to drive me midweek ( 2 hours away and back!) to see Vinnie in Melbourne to his Fender-Heartfield Guitar Clinic! I was 16 and poor, kicked out of school and unemployed.....but my Dad said yes! I'll never forget that night, we actually bought him gifts from our hometown, local music store t-shirt, etc. . . .Thank you Vinnie Moore for inspiring the young and old for many decades, and many decades to come!
Vinnie Moore I love your music from Mind's Eye, Time Odyssey and other albums. You have a great picking hand and one of the best guitarists since back in the 80s. Great style and tone.
Dear Kramer, a USA Vinnie Moore model please. maybe an import too for the ones who love Vinnie Moore but are on a budget. everyone loves Vinnie, still.
One of the greatest rock guitarist ever!!! Very versatile can not only shred but can boogie, funk & do metal and ballads!!! Check out his song remorse I learned to play it note for note when my mother died. Wassup Vinnie need a new album from you badly
VINNIE IS A LEGEND. Been listening to him since 7th grade. I used to spend HOURS and hours learning "pieces of a picture". THANKS, VIN MAN!! Melody master.
HEY VINNIE, IM HAPPY TO SEE YOU AND HEAR THAT YOU ARE DOING WELL AND STILL DOING WHAT YOU LOVE AND SHARING YOUR MUSIC WITH THE REST OF US! ALL THE BEST TO YOU!
I first discovered Vinnie in the mid 80's from a guy who worked at a local music store here in Montreal. I wish I could find that guy and buy him a beer because it was the best suggestion for music anyone could have given me. Thanks, Vinnie - you're awesome!
Vinnie Moore is one of the most underrated guitarist. His playing is incredible, not sure why he never got the recognition that others of his era got. Keep rockin' Vinnie!💪💯
I still remember the moment I discovered the album 'The Maze'. What an amazing work of creativity and inspiration for a lot of guitarists! THANKS VINNIE!
The most eloquent of the neo classical era, I use some of his pivoting licks from the first hot licks video to this day… Minds Eye and especially Time Odyssey have a place in my heart forever.
One of the best from the Shred era. Last I remember you were in UFO. I went in the blues direction and stopped listening to Metal and Shred for 20 plus years. Good to see one of the nice guys still kicking it.
I’ve been a fan of his playing for years. His instructional vids were legendary. Saw Vinnie when he was playing with UFO. He was so gracious with all the fans outside the tour bus. There was one part during the show when I made I contact with him and motioned to him I wanted a guitar pick. He ran to his amp to quickly get me a pick which was super cool. Awesome dude!
You rock bro. I am just beginning to learn guitar ( at 57 but have been a singer all of my life ) I have listened to you for decades and am inspired even more by you now. Thank you man.
This man is one of the most versatile guitarist and song artists out there. Each album is uniquely full of passion, fire, melodic content, intelligent song structures and sincere playing all around. You can't judge him by one or two albums period. One of the few "super shredders" who excels as a composer and instrumental story teller. Love and light.
Yo Vinnie, you were a great inspiration to me in my formative years of guitar playing, and i look forward to hearing your new compositions. I don't think you get enough recognition, you are a true force of music my friend! I really appreciate your compositions and tone, be well and thank you.
One of my idols, thank you Vinnie (with a IE) Moore! It may not come across in the riff and solo videos I upload but you are one of my top inspirations and influences! Keep on rockin' 🤘
Loved Vinnie Moore's playing ever since hearing him the first time in the excerpt from "Message In A Dream" in Guitar Player Flexi-disc back in `88. Phenomenal player. Interesting to see him back to Kramer guitars. I really like the lower cutaway on this one, deeper than in regular Pacers. Wonder if Kramer would be up to releasing this as his signature model at some point.
Great!>>>Vinni is a awesome guitar player, and I still have my 1986 Kramer Striker with almost original gear in it...Peace and rock on good people!!!👊😎
I love so much VinnieMan, I would spend hours listen to him talking as much as musically.. I was just 15 when I bought mindseye vinyl, I was totally capture on every note. Bless your mum to be a rocker! 😁
Love Vinnie! He was one of my 1980s teen years inspirations. Ironically, I was introduced to his music by my highschool pal Ira Black, who went on to play with Vinnie's old band "Vicious Rumors" for a bit. 🤣 Ira introduced me to a lot of incredible guitarists music and got me into playing Metal guitar. I'll forever be grateful. Thanks, Ira! 🤘🏻
I met Vinnie at a clinic at Sword's Music in Fort Worth in 1988. Probably 50 people there. He played In Control and Mind's Eye. He was unbelievably good. Afterwards he signed my Mind's Eye album and I couldn't believe how humble and and what a nice guy he was. Class act.
Great work here. Like many, i saw the Pepsi commercial but didn't know who played. Changed with VR's Soldiers Of The Night. Read Vinnie cut all the solo's in a day. Lots of Shrapnel here. This remains a fave. Some solo albums. last "Out Of Nowhere". Great. Even my wife liked it! Extended family sees UFO with Vinnie. This is like 15 years ago. They loved this little club style gig. Gave them OON CD to them. They dug that, too.
Very nice always been a fan your playing as definitely inspired me for years ,now im much older im doing a lot of acoustic finger style which is awesome as well and fun but very challenging, thx bro .
I am a great fan of yours. been following you for more than 20 years. when I was in school, time odyssey, Mind's eye, and Defying gravity were a savior, they changed my life and later the instructional videos were a godsend. Respect and love from the bottom of my heart. kEEP MAKING GOOD MUSIC. \M/
Me I did the same, my very first Floyd Rose was installed on a Fender strat, by myself, with hammer & chisel, no internet, no previous knowledge (no luthier in town). Amazing to say that it went perfectly well, Back then I had no idea what was a guitar scale length, 25.5´´? No bare idea... But by instinct I toke measures and followed the original bridge. 25 years later and still is one of my favorite guitars. Could have been a disaster though, one of these things that go right from the start, without explanation, beginner's luck probably. Vinnie is one of my favorite instrumental musicians, Mind´s Eye is my favorite instrumental guitar album ever, since its release, 26 years ago.
At one point in time I had the entire Shrapnel catalog on cassette. Minds Eye was in the car along with McAlpine, Racer X and Greg Howe. Vinnie was always in the tape rotation. I almost bought a Heartfield Talon because of Vinnie.
Vinnie esteve na cidade onde moro, Brusque/SC para um workshop em 2010. Músico talentoso e um grande ser humano. Atendeu a todos logo depois de sua apresentação.
Perfect example of skill but with the most important part of music - the ability to write memorable and melodic music with their own trademarks. "The Maze" album is my favorite, what a journey that album is.
Lots of wisdom in 15min. I remembering Vinnie Moore licks were in Guitar Player Magazine!? Still doing his D-major shape arpeggio lick now and then. It goes up and down halfsteps. You can alternate pick it or sweep it. Good warmup.
Interesting stories about his early discoveries. He is about the song however Defying Gravity is pure instrumental and I can't get enough of it. I would never say, too many notes, Vinnie..
Vinnie's modes in B video really made the 7 years '91-98 of the first 7-string (for $3,000!) worth having... I thought that he used an FRT-3 and went with that on my own 3/4 "mini series" (after the EVH of "Hot for teacher" that I did for him in '84)! I never met him in Hollywood around MI but kept listening to the essentials which included him... Now I have to wonder if Kramer still does the 1 3/4" wide nut, I had an early Voyager with it (and always wanted that with the 2 1/4" heel for a Vintage spaced trem)!
This dude is so down to earth and humble. He never let fame get to his head. That's awesome!
My Hero
He is the coolest dude, so real!
He’s real
Can't agree more... God bless 🙏

A true rock virtuoso, really underrated, his note choices are sublime. MELTDOWN album still melts my face up to this day
Great album
I Adore Meltdown Album. It was what I rocked out to during most the grunge scene . That Album is part of my DNA .
@@youhavenothingifyoudonthav9895 damn, you and I got a similar story
One of the greatest guitar records of all time. Check It Out, Deep Sea, Ridin High... So good.
yes!
I want to start learning Cinema, such a great track!
He showed me my first warm up scale back in the day. He was doing a clinic and I got lucky enough to talk to him and he took the time to show me.
Vinnie is a REAL Guitarhero, a Genius. 🙏
One of the greatest rock guitarist ever!!! Very versatile can not only shred but can boogie, funk & do metal and ballads!!! Check out his song remorse I learned to play it note for note when my mother died. Wassup Vinnie need a new album from you badly

I've seen UFO many times, and I always enjoyed watching Vinnie do his thing live.
Vinnie always kills it live! Master guitar player!
I still remember the moment I discovered the album 'The Maze'. What an amazing work of creativity and inspiration for a lot of guitarists!
THANKS VINNIE!

thanks Vinnie, I learned some great arpeggios back from your VHS tape back in the mid 80’s … still using them too …😉
Hey! Me too. Funny.. several of them from that tape stick with me to this day. I got it in 87.
Vinnie is a talent, super melodic. He got me into Larry Carlton too, as Vinnie cited him as a major influence.
I remember his Pepsi commercial and instructional videos, phenomenal guitar player for sure.
One of the very best yet so modest. A true inspiration and musical idol.
You rock bro. I am just beginning to learn guitar ( at 57 but have been a singer all of my life ) I have listened to you for decades and am inspired even more by you now. Thank you man.
Saw him open for Rush in Philly. Was like " I can't believe it's it's Vinnie Moore!". Great Show.
Vinnies music saved my life. Told him several times.
Great guitarist, definitely influenced me in the mid 80s. Blessings to you brother!

I seen vinnie Moore in OKC back in the 90s meltdown tour, the loudest I've ever been to it was a club so. Incredible musician.
I still have minds eye on cassette
87 and 89 was all about Moore, Mcalpine and Malmsteen. I hope Kramer makes a Vinnie Moore model. Great video.
Vinnie is absolutely legendary guitarist!
One of the greatest musicians to ever pick up the instrument! Living legend
This guy is the man. Humility is learned by listening to this man speak.
I still have Time Odyssey cassette tape autographed by Vinnie !!!!1987
Thank u Vinnie for all the great music and inspiration back n the good old days. Total badass
A HUGE fan since since 1991, love 'Ridin' High', still play your albums today! We all need more Mr Moore!

That U.F.O ‘You Are Here’ record is so good 🔥🔥🔥
His 1st with them, he's great on that record, I was in love with Minds Eye when I was into the shredders in the late 80s
Vinnie! As a 54 year old Bay Area native, I go back to Vicious Rumors Soldiers of the Night! 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
Loved Vinnie Moore's playing ever since hearing him the first time in the excerpt from "Message In A Dream" in Guitar Player Flexi-disc back in `88. Phenomenal player. great stories. Thanks Vinnie.
I love Vinnie! Very underrated!! It appears his Partnership with Dean dissolved.
I think everyone has left Dean at this point. From what I've heard, they weren't paying the artists for the guitar sales

I'm oddly proud that Philly had the influence it did for him.
Long time fan i do listen once in a while Minds Eye
A friend of mine showed me "king of king's" when I was 13, I had just started learning guitar and that track blew my mind! 🤯

That lick from Jeff Beck was the first I'd ever heard from him...recorded it on cassette from Jim Ladds The 7th day. Love yer stuff!
Interesting stories about his early discoveries. He is about the song however Defying Gravity is pure instrumental and I can't get enough of it. I would never say, too many notes, Vinnie..
The "guy he took lessons from" was Nick Bucci. We share the same last name & had the same teacher 😉 Sup Vinnie
Kramer guitars..of course👍 and Rock on guys🤘
great guitarist and nice guy!
Vin Man..... the best thing to ever come out of Delaware.
A great listen🎸🎸🎸
Vinnie you rock!!
A true living legend...
Vinnie has always been one of my very favourite rock/metal shred guitar heroes. I met him in Italy in 2009. He was a nice guy. Shy, but nice.
Vinnie is one of the very, very Best!
Vinny Moore is one of my favorites.

What a lovely down-to-earth guy Mr Moore is!!
Great guitar player and still rocking his 80’s t shirt!
Down to earth learning progression.
Il più grande di tutti
That Kramer shirt is rad!
