Turned 66 in June my wife would have been 60 in November, she was diagnosed with lung cancer in July and fought fight. On 9/9/23 at 7:32 pm she lost the fight. So in her memory and for my sanity I set and remember the last 23+ years of the best thing to ever come in to my life. My loving wife. ❤ Tammy ❤. RIP.

I still remember the Joy in my father eyes and how he danced with my mother like nothing else mattered🥰He has had a though life, and had to go to soon, and i miss him every day🙏 But when i play the blues he is here with me, and we both fload away to were the blues takes us. Going through a very hard time in my life right now. As a guitarist myself I figured why not express myself through music and no genre helps me find relief the way blues does. There's just something about the darkness and the emotion that helps ease a dark and emotional mind. It's like you are in tune with the music and it just resonates with you and you resonate with the music. One vibe that we all share, feeling connected to the world, being able to share the pain and the grief. This music is therapeutic like no other.
I don't like to drink, I only do when I'm hurt deep down. Here I am, recomforting myself with a bottle and blues. Thank you very much for this mix ❤️ May god forgive us and spread peace and joy and love all around the world ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I get the blues genes from my grandfather who use to be in a band & play the sax.He received 5 medals in ww2 and helped construct the Mohaka viaduct back then..Kia ora granddad I neva met, ur memory is playing through these Attahua waiata ❣️❣️🕊️
Thank you for sharing! I just read up on the Mohaka viaduct. It has quite a history and was a difficult build over many decades. Your grandfather would have been working there during it’s biggest expansion.
@@Dbb27 Thanks. I don't even know the history of the Viaduct, it always frightened me, as soon as we came around the bend there it was. Homework is for me to research the Viaduct, so I can pass this knowledge onto my grandchildren.
@@RitchelleSebleyStevens there’s a good Wiki page on it for a quick read with some pictures. Frightening was my reaction. Whew! That’s really huge and a lot of engineering. It’s pretty cool that when the project was pushed ahead after the depression through your grandfather’s time of working there were no deaths associated with the construction. Quite remarkable.

I can see myself hanging out at a smoke-filled bar while sitting at a small round table. The room is darkened. The only light visible is that of a lit candle flickering on each of the tables. No sounds. No rumble. Just peace while the guitar gently sings its saddened notes.

I found the Blues in the Navy, in the middle of the Persian Gulf. Sounds strait out of the soul, a man from the south playing it from the dish pit on an the USS Abraham Lincoln. Man that hits you in all the spots when your missing home.

Going through a very hard time in my life right now. As a guitarist myself I figured why not express myself through music and no genre helps me find relief the way blues does. There's just something about the darkness and the emotion that helps ease a dark and emotional mind. It's like you are in tune with the music and it just resonates with you and you resonate with the music. One vibe that we all share, feeling connected to the world, being able to share the pain and the grief. This music is therapeutic like no other.

I get the blues genes from my grandfather who use to be in a band & play the sax.He received 5 medals in ww2 and helped construct the Mohaka viaduct back then..Kia ora granddad I neva met, ur memory is playing through these Attahua waiata ❣️❣️🕊️

Thank you for sharing! I just read up on the Mohaka viaduct. It has quite a history and was a difficult build over many decades. Your grandfather would have been working there during it’s biggest expansion.
@@Dbb27 Thanks. I don't even know the history of the Viaduct, it always frightened me, as soon as we came around the bend there it was. Homework is for me to research the Viaduct, so I can pass this knowledge onto my grandchildren.
@@RitchelleSebleyStevens there’s a good Wiki page on it for a quick read with some pictures. Frightening was my reaction. Whew! That’s really huge and a lot of engineering. It’s pretty cool that when the project was pushed ahead after the depression through your grandfather’s time of working there were no deaths associated with the construction. Quite remarkable.
