This was the scariest case build I've ever done, because I didn't have the instrument here to check...double-check...and triple-check the fitment. But thankfully, Kevin (Mars Mountain) provided a micro-exact outline drawing of the body he built....working from that made it all work out.

Not a shredder or a fan of pointy guitars in general, and not really sure how I got here, but between the Kart selection music in the background, the search for a specific weird model, and the incredibly wholesome story of custom community made guitar in the face of a company who wouldn't go to bat for you, I'm sold man. Great story, great guys at the forum….. personally I wouldn’t want Gibson (aka modern Kramer) making me a guitar. I would much rather have ESP make a Kayla Kent signature. ESP built some of the early vintage Kramer necks, and are a better company, in my opinion.
The one thing preventing me from wholeheartedly embracing ESP is that they branded their flagship production line E-II. I'd rather not be called second-class when spending $2k-3k. If I ever have the opportunity to get my dream Les Paul Custom, I'd track down an Eclipse I CTM first, and if they've become as unobtainium as an MX-220, considering the ESP Custom Shop before Gibson.
This is amazing!!! So all I have to do to get my hands one is up my chops, create a youtube channel, be really good at it, and make friends with really cool kramer enthusiasts. Props for having the ability to turn down the "offer" and letting them know EXACTLY what you wanted... I hope you created some serious seismic disturbances at the Kramer offices and wake some people up! I'm now waiting to see the vid where Kramer comes to their senses. and builds your guitar. Props to the Kramer fans for realizing you deserved the dream. I can understand the issue with doing things the way you wanted. as yeah, a top-mount Floyd Rose requires an angled neck pocket to work right, so for some Kramers, body and neck isn't "mix and match". Keepdoing whatyou're doing, it's awesome, and f'n enjoyable.
I tend to forget about the fact you shred so hard that my face melts off. Love the color of the inside of the case! It’s very clean, professionally put together and with love. 👌
I can't believe that was too much for them. I did that to my vanguard, changing the neck pocket to accommodate a recessed bridge. Took not even 30 minutes with a router. That's an excellent looking guitar, and the case is great too. It's amazing that enough people with the right skills could come together to make it!

the timings so funny, im building a blue star myself - using an old 80s charvel neck! Its amazing to see the community come together to build something so beautiful though, lots of care and love went into that instrument, along with all the small details that would be super meaningful to yourself and the fans of the cannel.
