Having been through these interviews recently I will say this. These videos gives you the general gist of what happens during the interview. When giving yours story only your action needs to be detailed. Otherwise they’d think you are taking too long or gone off track. The examples in this video are way too long. Your ST need to be 2-3 sentences and R 1-3 sentences long. They don’t care about story telling, they care about giving an answer with some context. Sometimes the STAR format is too robotic and takes away from having a conversation with the interviewer. That ability to turn the question into a discussion is much more memorable. And yes emphasis the 14 leadership principles in action.
hahaha I think I'm seeing this just a little bit too late, but it represents my mistake almost to a word. got this very same question, and answered in a similar way, about a difficult negotiation, in which I was able to get a tangible financial results for my firm. the interviewer asked some follow up questions to probe it, and in the end candidly told me it might not be the best example when we're talking about customer obsession, and if I had another alternative example. unfortunately, we only had a few minutes left of the interview time, and I was only able to find another example where the focus was on how difficult the customer was, in terms of unrealistic requests. so pretty sure I wasn't able to show much customer obsession, although I'd say I answered other questions on other principles better... I should know the results in about a week or so, but if negative, this will probably one of the main reasons, if not the very one for flunking me. so thanks for posting. incredible how it feels so obvious in hindsight, but not when you're on the spot...
in Context of Amazon: the banker can refer the difficult client as in why it was difficult, and share how you focused on getting the money for the client. Or why was it difficult. etc etc... The question is open ended.

Interviewers will sometimes try to dig too deeply to find "plot holes" in your stories, and that will always work for the detriment of the candidate because it won't always be possible to recall immediately all the details regarding an experience that happened months/years ago, and when you're trying to recollect from your memory, honest as it may be it can end up looking as "fake" in the eyes of your interviewer.
