    It's usually not a good sign when the opelu are biting like crazy, and today was no exception. My friends and I easily filled our bait tubes, but aside from a jumbo kawakawa (mackerel tuna), no other pelagics wanted to play. Luckily, some action on the vertical jig and sabiki rig saved the day and gave me a nice mixed bag for some onokine grindz later on.
