  • For that top secret stuff I talked about click here www.peakyourmind.com/why-we-do... Thanks for watching, if you found this helpful share it!
It's a new year and we're back babyyyy haha I'm pumped to kick this off because this is going to be an amazing year for both of us...I can feel it.
    www.peakyourmind.com/how-to-st...
And today we're diving into a new episode of PeakYourMind inspired by a question that one of our awesome viewers sent in.
Our dude Jack has made some powerful, positive changes in his life but now he's struggling with getting to the next level in his relationships because he finds himself always comparing himself or trying to compete with others.
My question to you is, have you ever fallen into the trap of trying to measure your own self worth by comparing yourself to other people?
    www.peakyourmind.com/how-to-st...
I don't know about you but this is definitely something I've struggled with.
It's so easy to get sucked into the mentality of competition and comparison based on how we're raised and the impossible standards pushed on us.
But the truth is, comparison/competition are AWESOME...if you do them the "right" way.
You'll see what I mean in this episode of PeakYourMind, watch it here:

    Peace,
    Martin Sosa

I took a picture with one of my stunning friends, and found that I think she's better looking than me. I went in this deep depression and couldn't get out of it. Thank you for this

Same:/ whenever I'm with my friend around guys, they completely ignore me and focus all their attention on her😒 even tho some people tell me I'm attractive I'm just completely in her shadow and it gets to me so much when I'm talking to a guy and they just look at her when I'm talking to them.. So rude

How did you get out of it? I've been going through this for 3 years now and I just can't stop comparing myself to her. She's so perfect while I'm just me. :/

I've been trying to figure out how to not compare myself to others and not feel inferior. It has already rooted in my mind. I guess this video helped me.

I constantly come back to this video...
When I see all the comments describing what I feel inside, it brings a tad bit of peace at mind...
Because at least I can relate to some people...

+PeakYourMind I love basketball and I am going to be 18 this month. I am trying to improve my skills in basketball and I smitten basketball and I want to be an NBA player, I know that I am dreaming too big. I am from India and here we don't have much facilities to improve ourselves and I want to reach to the NBA and I everyday work on my ball handling at home but I am not improving very much. I started working on my ball handling 5-6 months ago and I really want to succeed and prove myself and I have to qualify first a competition between many players around the country and if I get 1st place then I will reach to the NBA D-League tryout. But when I work on my skills many times I lose the handles and I feel disappointed that I don't have handles and I start comparing my self with other players who are better than me and then I feel disappointed and unaccomplished very badly. And sometimes I think that I should leave basketball and continue my studies and many of my family members want me to study ahead and forget basketball but I won't give up basketball. Please tell me how to stop comparing myself to other better players and focus on myself, it's very difficult for me to do that. Thank you

Did you learn all this from observing through life experiences, or are you studying psychology or something in university?? I'm really curious because I'm going off to college next year and I've been really thinking about becoming a nurse, but all the things you talk about in your videos not only seem so interesting to me but you're also helping people! Please let me know because you may have just inspired me to be a psychologist:)
Thanks for making these videos, they've really gotten me thinking and reflecting! I think what you're doing is really awesome!

Why did he give up music? My only guess would be that he gave up like mainstream music cause the majority of lyrics in mainstream music is so negative

Step one: dont search these kinds of videos on youtube
Step two: turn off your phone
Step three: if wanting to text your "friend" repeat step two.
Step four: watch tv, play xbox, jerk off, do whatever it is you do.
      Step five: Tada! Problem solved.
