Great video, thanks. Would love to see how you've wired through to the cigarette lighter. Do you still have to have the tray out? That's the only bit that's putting me off at the moment. Would rather have it closed all the time.
Hey mate. Yes unless you have another power point somewhere you need the tray out. The power wire is long so can reach far but at the time I only had that one point to use.

Unless you’re a mechanic, or even a car hobbyist, the ones where you have to wire it up to the brake lights - forget that! These things are no way an easy install.
But the TW1 is what I’ve been looking for! No bs. No wiring it up to your brake lights, real easy……..

You would have to either make a mount or look to use something like your bumper etc.

Wish there was an option to have the over rear view mirror type monitor. Having a monitor screen stuck on the dash invites break-in when it's seen on display. Also, if you don't buy the solar pannel, you've got to keep removing it to charge it, as not many of us can park right up to our house to reach a charging point, I personally don't have a garage, so it cannot be connected there.
Also, why is it so big? I've seen tiny cameras and tiny pin hole cameras that have tiny batteries. The recharging side would be an annoying problem for me, constantly removing it.

Looks great but ALL the links are broken.
Because your camera isn't mounted in the centre of your rear does that effect the grid or throw you off when reversing?
No mate to be honest I have had no issues at all. The back of the van is fairy square so the furthest point is not far off the same all the way along

No mine isn’t. I had the van off the road for months and I couldn’t charge the camera battery up as I damaged the charge lead.

For the sake of just splicing into the power of the reversing light or a permanent live, I’d far rather not have to recharge an internal battery any which way. Those batteries will fail in time to come, requiring you to replace the whole unit. My permanently wired cams have NEVER failed..
Maybe so but not everyone can carry out that work.

Good video but ridiculously over complicated product - why not have it just wirelessly connect to your phone! Thats all I want, sadly and amazingly such a product doesnt seem to exist for some unknown reason!!
Nice workshop mate but that camera looks terrible. Definitely better off with a small hard wired one.
Hey mate thanks for the garage comment. Yes you can say that and I guess there is pros and cons to both. These are aimed more for convenience and also for people who can’t install a wired one type thing.
