- OK guys, do you prefer the BEE GEES original version of Stayin Alive or the Apologies / Bee Gees - Stayin Alive (ROCK COVER) by Sershen Zaritskaya?
It was such a hard choice when listening to them back to back. In the end, I think I would prefer hearing the original while sitting in the car on a road trip. Maybe it is my age, but something about it I cannot deny.
I love Rock and Metal music, but the disco sound is priceless.

There are so many covers of this song, Bruce Springsteen, Ozzy osborne, ....., but Bee Gees is the best of course, the best falsetto, harmonies and the hottest singer!
I like Bee Gees version more. I start dancing every time I hear it. But No apologies one is cool too
This band reminds me of Heart a bit - or how I imagine Heart might have done this song. I was way into rock in my younger days and wasn't a big Bee Gee fan in the day, but a few years ago I re-discovered Bee Gees and have become a huge fan. I do like the cover version, but I like the Bee Gee version better. Rock is rock and Bee Gees are just in a category all their own.
