- Lekka Piechota - Light Infantry is a shooting competition with elements of navigation. The goal for competitors is to capture as many waypoints deployed in tough terrain around the shooting range as possible and to appear on given shooting windows and shoot as many stages as possible.

It's nice how our Slavic languages are so similar. In Czech, it's "Lehká Pěchota".
In Slovenian it's Lahka Pehota

Cool to see "extreme infantry" competition, and not "extreme navy seal ranger" competition.
Light Infantry is tough enough all on it's own, doesn't need the garnish of "Spec Ops".
I was a Tanker (Unofficial Motto: Death Before Dismount), and I have nothing but respect for the poor bastard crunchies who leg it everywhere.
@@lowkey1969 I was one 😂 there was infantry before spec ops. In fact what kind of made spec ops ‘cool’ was their adaptation to a more infantry-like role in recent history.

Really, they may be not quite as much s some of their kin have hyped them up to be while looking for book and media rights, but they're not pushovers. Glad they're on our side, and hope they're always on the side of freedom.

This the number one reason to learn old school land navigation forward and backward (pun intended) Damn a GPS.
Your mind is more relible than a machine! Learning the old school way builds your confidence and your ability.
It builds the teams confidence when they have a leader who is a good navigator.

no Lynx Brutality was better 😉
@@julianbecool the stages were more interesting at Lynx and it was an amazing event, but it was only 8 stages compared to over 20 in Poland and with long breaks in between stages, so you can't really compare the two. As a shooting event, Lynx is definitely the coolest event I've been to so far. As an overall physical challenge, Light Infantry is a different beast.

One of the first things I learned about navigation, always trust your compass. You can end up seriously off course because things don't look right so the compass must be malfunctioning.

I have a question for my Slavic friends to you guys in Central Europe what does Polish sounds like to you, I have heard that it sounds like Czech and Russian
Czech, Russian and Polish sound completely different to us
To understand each of these languages, you need to include imaginative thinking.
Individual words/short phrases can bear resemblance to those other languages, however if you listen to full sentences you can easily see that there are many differences.
to me Polish sound like; Pš pš pš pčš pž čšžš kurwa pš pš čipka pž pž kurwa

How do you compare this with Brutality event?
Totally different thing - Brutality match has stages that last only 3 minutes so you need explosive strength and very good shooting skills.
But this competition is more like endurance training, navigation and persistence, the shooting is only a small part of the equation
I want to do this so fuckin badly!!!! How do i get to this kind of Competition?!
