The Ultimate Shooting Competition: LIGHT INFANTRY
Вставка
- Опубліковано 12 вер 2023
- Light Infantry (Lekka Piechota) is the hardest shooting competition in the world. It takes place in the north part of Poland and is open to anyone. As the name implies the competition was inspired by light infantry and besides shooting it includes various tasks like navigation, combat field care, enemy target identification, reconnaissance and much more.
What is special about this competition is that you can only apply in a pair with your team buddy and you have to complete all the tasks together. There are no breaks, the competition lasts for 36 hours straight and if you want to be competitive, there is no time to sleep.
A very unique experience a lot of strength and dedication to complete.
World's Toughest Shooting Competition.

Wow! That’s a competition where you’re just proud to complete it. But 7th place too? Outstanding work to both of you!
with all this Ar jams.
Complete it?Buddy, I would be happy to survive it 😂 it must be so hard on many levels, i m pretty fit but i m a human too ahaha
Thank you! I'm very satisfied with the results this year but we can always do better.
What matter to me the most is that we gave our best and that we had fun doing it :)
@@PolenarTactical are special forces teams participating? I imagine it is hard to compete with them so 7th is actually nuts.
how hard would it be for some Americans to compete in this challenge next year? @@PolenarTactical
14:43 that absolute unit of a range officer.
7th out of 80 in a competition like that is very impressive! Be very proud of that result!
This takes “I lost all my guns in a boating accident” to a whole new level with that kayak stage! This looks amazing! Keep up the great content brother.
Gotta love the Polish people and shooting ranges and what they allow you to do :D
Awsome result too
As a 1.94m tall guy, i hate the tunnel stage just from looking at it haha
With a stuck shellcasing, found a neat little trick from another channel.
A paint can opener, one with a small flat tip.
Its small enough to get in the ejection port next to the casing and with the flat tip u hook it on and wedge/pull the casing out.
Can put the opener on a piece of paracord and have it tucked away on your plate carrier or chest rig behind a pouch or in between some molle. And pull it out when needed.
This is a great tip, thank you! First time hearing about it as i never had any stuck casing in a rifle before
The tunnel stage was the worst first year we did it - it was full of water and mud, really claustrophobic

Dave from tactical hyve?
Incredible! The amount of thought you guys put into the cinematography and editing! Truly top-notch film making, let alone doing it under such stressful conditions. Bravo!
Thank you!
We had more footage but decided to only keep the most interesting parts and try to make it engagin through the whole video.
Normally this kind of video could easily be 45 minutes long but we have to optimize it for YT algorithm.
It's so demoralizing to see a great video like this one underperform just because YT foesnt approve of this kind of content :(
@@PolenarTactical I sympathize with you on the results but proud that I subscribed and got to see the video. I don't know what the solution is, unless UA-cam gets a competitor in another country or the US government goes after monopolys?
Did they also supply you with Panzerchocolade to go along with the secret gesture? It sure helps staying in motion for 36 hours.
Drugs and alcohol are forbidden - for obvious reasons. But i did take a shitload of caffeine...
@@PolenarTactical Get yourself some Kopiko caffeine candies next year they are very popular in Poland, great stuff if you have to stay awake for long. Saved my ass many times back when I was working 12h night shifts.
Congratulation guys, that was a true teamwork!!
Thank you!
@@PolenarTactical
Good thumbnail. Simple and straight to the point.
@@nikburisson9-pissedoffpeasant- Thanks, that's good feedback! Didn't want to make it too flashy
I'm a very proud American but I'm also proud to have Polish blood.🇺🇸 God bless America and Poland🇵🇱
Well done guys!
This competition is obviously demanding, but really interesting and well thought out aswell. Some stages definetly looked like fun.
Great video and awesome result, nice 7th place. 🤘

What's up with the hand gestures? Have you forgotten the nazis made soap out of your grandfathers?
Was the extraction issue with the Windham figured out?
Do you have any suggestions about US dudes flying over to shoot this next year?
I find this video really pleasing, and each year I want more to do this kind of competition. Thank you for taking the extra weight on your rifles to film it, and to share it with us.
Big respects from a french shooter.
Even that short 8 hours course is quite devastating, 36 hours of constant movement, getting wet, being exhausted and shooting is just mind boggling. You did great, this competition is open, but not so many gun YT people are brave enough to participate. I am sure you will do even better next year. Probably short stroke AR would do better in these conditions, who knows what you will bring next year. Best of luck, regards from Poland.
The ROMANTIC bench is cool.
Amazing, so proud of you keeping attending Light Infantry as a team despite all the struggles and scoring high overall. Keep it up. :)
Well done Guys ! It was pleasure to be your judge at one of the stages 💪
Hardcore bar raised to 11 eh...
This is the only competition that I wouldn't dare even thinking about entering.
This goes way beyond regular infantry test, it's highly specialized units territory.
New for me and favorite things I saw: Precision shooting from unstable platforms like logs and shaky high constructions , just wow.
I'm always amazed how civilians are able to come up with way better training/competition then big militaries with almost unlimited budget.
Like you said, this kind of competition is realistically closer to something SF would do, not normal infantry. Especially the shooting part - in my whole basic training i probably shot only 50 rounds...
And you guys made it look easy, I know it's heavily edited and condensed material with probably ton of cursing, swearing and general torture cut out of the video but still, very impressive.
And Luka is a rockstar, took the pain like a man.
Bravo momci
Finally the waiting for this is over! Great job and so great to see how you used what you learned from last year! RESPECT!
Very challenging drills combined with difficult conditions out of the comfort zone
That was awesome! Very inspiring. Love the format😃
Thank you!
Hopefully we'll make a similar format video next week - a report from Finnish Brutality :)
Good job guys. Brings back memories of boot camp
Dang UA-cam has blessed me with this recommendation. I can’t believe I missed this video. This competition is crazy I’m impressed with how well you two did
But I already was in the words toughest shooting competition and made it. Logar and Helmand Afghanistan 2015!... Great video!
Damn I would definitely want to try that competition! Great content as always, much love from Texas!
This would be ideal for all infantry units all around the world to train in for basic skills. My own experience have been with live fire exercises moving and shooting to engage targets as first a 2 man team, 4-5 fire team, 9-12 man squad, 39-45 man platoon, then over a hundred plus company size element without killing anyone in my unit. This is good to hone infantry skills for individual or buddy team basics. Move, shoot, and communicate is the meat and potatoes of infantry skills.
I agree, tis kind of training/competition would be beneficial to all infantry units. It's a shame militaries with almost unlimited budget dont organise something similar
Dude. Poland looks pretty dayum good.
18:19 Ohh how cool! Polish Chief of Police provided them with a speaker! Polish ppl will understand :D
OMG that's awesome!!! I really want to do it though I know that the suck would be immense! Might be funny to partner with Jari (who I'm sure would end up piggybacking me while running when everyone else is walking XD )
They have 3 categories, Light, Lighter and Lightest - that last 36, 12 or just 6 hours
Also it is hard but at the end it's as hard as you make it for yourself. You can walk slower, rest, even camp and sleep if you want to but everything is done on the running timer
Sorry, it's actually 36, 18 and 8 hours now

Never saw this one on my feed.
Glad you put up the link!
Looks like a great teambuilding moment with one of the boys!
Even making to the end is an accomplishment! Great job guys, I enjoyed watching it!
Wow, 36 hours straight. You guys are in amazing shape.
A shitload of caffeine helps me endure this
This makes me want to go to Poland
This makes me want to move to Poland heh.
This is apparently just one of many crazy competitions they have.
@@davisor7116 We kinda like spending time outside, I remember when I was back in school they were always advertising this stuff on the board outside principal office, most popular ones were field orientation competitions where they drop you in the middle of the forest with map and compass in Swietokrzyskie Mountains (Holy Cross Mountains south of Radom) and you have to find all the points points and get out of the forest.
Killing it again this year, you two top blokes.
Also riflecx dude going "ooo kur-" had me laughing.
This is definitely the coolest course I've seen! Solid teamwork as well 😎👌
Thanks!
It's very physically demanding competition but super fun to do. I havent seen anything like it anywhere else.
G-Day Guys, congratulations completing the comp. Very cool video, gives you a real sense the pain and effort you boys put in. Cheers.
Congrats. Very good video. Love to see, that in the EU, there are still normal countries. Just wondering, how much ammo did you run through your AR in this event?
If im not mistaken about 400 rounds through each rifle
He’s not. XD
15:20. it is a fixable jam, you should keep a cleaning rod tied to the rifle to get stuck cases out.
The team aspect really appeals to me. Don't think i could stand up to that hard of a challenge but the forestcraft and trecking would be fun. If there was something like halfway between this and night brutality it'd be super fun
This competition is held in three categories. Light, Lighter and Lightest. Each have less courses and points to visit. Lightest last like 12 hours, no night part. I whish to try it next year :)
@@ZlyCholesterol thankyou for the information, I'm sure a lot of people would consider trying one of the lighter courses perhaps with the goal of working their way up.
Somebody, somewhere in Texas needs to make this a thing in the US...
Congratulations! Awesome competition! Each stage would make a great class in themselves.
Lot of fun watching it. Thanks for uploading.
Some of that reminds me of going back through military training.
The light infantry videos are def my favorite!
I love this competition. I’m glad you do it and share the video.
True warriors!!! U and luca are beast!!! Props to all the men and woman who did this competition. Holy hell thats rough alot diggerent then sunday funday shooting paper targets
Not only it's hard to complete, but you guys managed to do it and film, congratulations!
Wow guys that looks like a fantastic competition. Consultations on the great result. It says a lot about you and your team as everybody who’s competing in that they are all really serious about what they are doing.
Hats off guys, perfect video and great results!
Happy to see you guys did this again. Look forward to seeing the video. Would love to do something like this. Just sucks there is nothing really like in the states. Well at least that I kno of other then desert brutality
Lots of training like this in the states, you just need to enlist in the infantry. 🙂
I think there are a lot of great ranges and people that could make a competition like this, i think it's just a matter of time
@@PolenarTactical yes that is very true and the land to do it on and the ROs and so on and so forth. You understand with doin lynx brutality
America is so litigious, I was thinking about how expensive liability insurance would be for this here 😢
What a great competition. Reminds me so much of some of my training when i was in the army. Great job to both of you!!!!
Outstanding!!!! There needs to be more competitions/ events like this going on. Great job guys!!!

@@PolenarTactical Hellyeah, cheers!

The competition was pretty cool too, I guess.
Cheers from Canada!
"this thing is all about good communication", "you just line up the shot and when u have a good sightpicture u take the shot and hope for the best". that sure is some good communication.
Finally!. A real shooting competition.
Thanks for uploading. Very interesting and cool video. Amazing range.
I am too out of shape for this. But this seems exactly like the kind of thing I'd want to do.
Tunnel stage is awesome :D never saw that before

Aaaaaaah enfin ! L'algorithme youtube fait encore des siennes, encore heureux que je regarde spécifiquement !
Merci de cette vidéo, vous êtes géniaux, continuez !
That looks like a tough event. Very nice video presentation. Beautiful really.
Wow 🤩
This is the most awesome event a civilian ca do.
Big kudos to both of you! Svaka čast 💪
I am eating potatoe chips while watching this after sleeping through the whole afternoon XD its such a polar opposite.
edit: guess ı have a lot of empathy for my fellow man as ı've randomly gotten a nosebleed during the first aid section of the video.
awesome comp, sounds like Lucka needs a paint can opener on his kit to help clear those stuck casing in the chamber
Unbelievable!
Congratulations on your marks.
You shuld compete here against Ian just like on Finnish brutality it would be fun to watch
Good God, that's insane.
Nice camera work. You did a great job completing the competition but still making a great video. Well done :)

@@PolenarTactical You Welcome 💪
I really like your content, respect for the camera operator, I am full of admiration, great editing, both you and Luka make a great team, I hope that we will meet someday during the Light Infantry competition, once again greetings to the entire Polenar Tactical team 🤟
Very interesting video. I’m sure it was hard to compete and film at the same time. Great result.
I saw it. Awesome. good performance Polenar
Amazing. You’re a beast.
Truly great content Polenar!!👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you 😊
Bravo fanta, faking sedmo mesto!
Hvala! Če ne bi popolnoma zajebala 2 taktičnih nalog, kjer sva uporabila UTM namesto MGRS bi bila še boljša
An american style paint can opener might have helped with Luca's malfunctions. You can get the hooked end behind the case and get much better purchase on it to pull the jammed case out of the chamber. Might be a good addition to the kit for next year.
Or take Ak, it has ramrod
That's a great tip! First time im hearing about it
Congrats!! Amazing team work!! Fifth place on shooting teams with two stages a rifle down. Nice work!
I bet others had own issues. In competition like this something is going to happen. Nontheless impressive result.
Congratulations of that finish! Excellent work, awesome competition!

Lovely! Nice to see the whole thing. I was the RO at the Kill House for daily stage :D I think you were the fastes in it,. Shame the flashbang did not went off.
Yeah, that would make a better video :D
It's already a surprise that I survive every day
Well done!
Man, I wish there was something like this local to me in Florida.
Poland is further north, at the same latitude as southern Canada. If you did the same thing in Florida you would boil yourself. You would also make your pet aligator an orphan.
Great work guys 👍👍👍
