- Lekka Piechota is a light infantry tactical shooting competition organized in Poland that lasts more than 24 hours and consists of 25 shooting stages, land navigation and many other technical tasks.
This is hands down one of the best shooting competition of it's kind, because its demanding both physically and mentally. We are very proud of Žiga and Luka achieving a respectable 9th place since this was their first time there.
To be honest, anyone that endures this shooting competition to the end is a winner in our eyes.
And lets not forget, Jan, our camera ninja was with the guys through everything and made this mini-movie possible. He is the toughest camera guy our there!

I want to do this now...but hoe difficult is it gonna be sending everything to Poland and back with stupid ITAR rules to deal with.
@@devinmanderson you need to check your laws but in Europe traveling with guns isn't a problem if you have the permits
It looks amazing. Would love to do this.
I would 100% come in last place but would have an absolute blast doing it. The data you can pull from this is invaluable. Fantastic job, great video. Now I want to move to Poland.
It doesn't matter if you are last, the only thing that really matters is to push your own limitations and evolve.
The formula of this competition is constantly being expanded - now, apart from the most difficult and longest one, you can take it in two less extreme versions.
I am waiting for a version for total lazy people like me - Sitting Infantry :)
Nah, gun laws in Poland are still shit (compared to Czech republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Italy)
@@Raccoonaspie But still much less restrictive then Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, UK and Scandinavia.
So as always, it could be better but also much much worse.

You are welcome next year! :-)

I spent a decade in the infantry and would love to do something like this. Looked like an absolute blast while also being an absolute bag drive. Good Work Ziga, Luka and Jan.
That looked like an absolute blast. I'm sure you guys were very tired at the end of this. I wish there was something like this in the U.S. we could go to!
There is, go to your recruiter and join the Army as an infantryman and enjoy.
@@VictoryOrValhalla14 Dumb.
25 shooting stations 28 hours none stop mask shooting cqb short medium and long range plus mountain climbing and rappelling yeah you won't see any of that combined in infantry training the army or marine Corp they deem it too dangerous now unless you make sf no more cool guy shit

@@petrosmma i told him the same thing.
Anyone joining the military expecting similar training/shooting exercises will be disappointed.
I have a couple of friends from SF and even they usually do only a couple of these things in one single exercise
And that is, ladies and gentlemen, something I couldn't wait for. I couldn't ask for more. Amazing video, amazing performance, and once again - thank you for participating. I'm very glad that in the end, you enjoyed it. I really hope we'll meet once again on the competition.

Hugs and kisses
Thank you for all the help and sorry for all the screaming :D
That was FANTASTIC. I hope to see events like this grow and expand all over the world. For practical reasons, even a 4-5 hour course and course of fire would be fun and challenging.
This was extreme, in the best kind of way.
You two killed it!
There is also a shortened version of this competition lasting 12 hours. Without night parts🙂 And lately they also added an only shooting option, without searching for POI
Tunnel stage must be one of the craziest stages I've seen.
Being as claustrophobic as I am, I'd probably panic and shoot myself lololo
I cann guarantee you it was not pleasant.
@@davisor7116 i'm not claustrophobic but it also mad me feel uneasy. Some party are filled with mud and water and intentionally get narrow and smaller
@@PolenarTactical Yeah, those tunnels are definitely the most insane thing I've ever seen, looks dangerous even without the live fire and I would give it a hard pass, competition or not.
But, you guys showed some heart and pulled it off, kudos for that.
Taken from the Lekka piechota facebook page:
1. We're planning 3 editions in 2022. One of them will be held on 4-5.06.2022, and it's gonna be the original Light Infantry you can see on Polenar's video, with even more reality to it (stay tuned):
- squads of 2
- three formulas(divisions): Light (25h+), Lighter (~14h), Lightest (~8h)
We are also launching two, brand new Light Infantry competitions.
First one will be held on 09.04.2022:
- NON-STOP shooting only (no navigating)
- around 2 hours
Second one... well, imagine Light Infantry but with vehicles and even more hardcore challenges to overcome. This one will happen between 16-18.09.2022:
- squads of 4
- with vehicles
- three different shooting ranges
- 36 hours
- 100 waypoints to capture
- loong distances

Ziga and luka great job!!! You guys are Hardcore. That match is awesome and is totally insane. I could have done it back in my USMC days in my teens and early 20’s , but sadly after being a Paramedic for the past 27 years I couldn’t do it physically. I will just have to stick to my local and state gun matches. Great job guys and I love the channel.
How the hell you guy don't have more than 2 mil subscribers with such bad ass content. This and Finnish Brutality are just straight up awesome. You guys ROCK!
Thank you!
In the past we didn't post regularly on this channel and we have a lot of demonetized videos so it seems that UA-cam is throttling our videos.
On average less than 10% of our subscribers see our new video uploads...
But we are trying. Hopefully we can beat the dreadful UA-cam algorithm with good content :)

That comp looked like a lot of fun and suffering. Great training.
Pool party stage has nothing on tunnel rat stage, holy shit that was brutal.
but whats the point of tunnel rat stage? that shit doesnt happen anymore.
@@user-xj3mo2lx9z The point is to challenge yourself physically and mentaly to discover what's you are made of.
As for practical reasons, well, you never know..
Yes it was.
At first it looked like a very simple stage - just crawl through and hit all the steel. But when you started to go deeper inside there was more and more mud. At the start you try to avoid it, then you have to shoot from unpleasant positions, often with one hand only. Then the sound of your own gun rattles you. You are in such a small space that every shot you do feels like a small concussion.
I'm not claustrophobic but i have to admit that this stage made me feel uneasy. When you go deeper, the only light is coming from your weaponlight, the walls start to move in and you come across a deep mud puddle - when you try to go forward you soon realize that the ceiling is lower in that part and literally forces you to wade right through the water.
I wouldn't say that the stage was brutal but it was definitely interesting to say the least :D
@@user-xj3mo2lx9z Tell that to the Philippine army during the Marawi siege, lots of rat holes were dug up by terrorists under the city and was used to smuggle people, weapons and ammunition.

If i organised a light infantry competition it would be how long you can stand at a spot doing nothing until you get bored, and then transition to sitting around doing nothing, and then take a 40km walk and go back to sleep.
This looks way more fun.
Gotta give props to the farmer who allowed the competition to take place on and near his estate with cows. The risk of accidents is of course minimized by organizers and anyone who fucked up would be on the hook for compensation, but farmer obviously understands significance of the skills being both trained and put to the test to civil defence.

I barely did half that stuff 20 years ago. The trenches were amazing. Fantastic event; thanks for the ride-along.
Finally seeing some MW 2022 Cutscenes
the most surprising part was the IKEA bag tearing apart. never thought it's possible
Using a Beretta M9 (or 92 or 96? I couldn't tell from here) for this goes against the advice of every gun store salesman I have ever talked to and I love that Luka did it. My M9 was easily my favorite pistol I've ever used.
That's probably a Beretta 92 (or 96 as you said) as we didn't really get the M9 here in Europe with it being under the USMC sidearm contract. I don't doubt there are some in the Europe, but the 92 is much more common.
With that being said, the Beretta 92 is like the AK of the pistol world. It's my favourite handgun for sure, and the reliability is really good. It's just not really adequate for CCW because of size and weight, but there's always a compact version.
This is slowly becoming one of my favorite Gun tubes!!!
Slowly?
Damn, we need to speed it up!
Awesome competition and amazing video. To gather all that content during the match made this one of the best videos I've ever seen. Most of the time, we get a stage description and brief shooting, but here we got the whole enchilada. Thank you.

I like this!!! I did something like this back in the late 80s at Ft. Carson in a squad. The task was march or double time to 5 ranges each a mile. First was zero range was to zero rifles and machineguns after the first mile. Second was rifleman engage targets with pop ups. Third was Grenadiers with HE ammo. Fourth was 40 pop up targets using the whole squad firepower. Last was everyone using handgrenades and putting into a 5 meter kill range. All done for time and standard. My squad came in first luckily. My squad leader wasn't the brightest in the company but we were motivated as a squad to beat the rest in the company.
Awesome as always

I'm speechless!! All of this was awesome! Keep up the good work!
This was pretty awesome, amazing work.
For future reference, depending on the ammo if you set up a roughly a 32-33 meter zero that should give you a point of aim point of impact at 300m which will also mean that at 350m your drop is only 20cm and about 45cm at 400m for a 62grain 5.56 round going 3,000 fps (914m/s). From 33 meters to 300 meters your total rise and fall will be 10cm up and down from the point of aim.
If you want to work out the math for your specific ammo and if you have a chronograph. Look up what's called the Max Point Blank Range calculator.
Keep up the amazing videos. You guys are incredible.
Congratulations you guys. Totally crushed it.

THIS MIGHT BE the best Yt channel on everything firearms..well shooting AND courses. GREAT courses!
Well, something more brutal and realistic than Finnish Brutality. Wow. This cannot be done elsewhere, because of much more stringent safety protocols; for one thing, it appeared that the 180 did not exist here, with total trust being placed in the shooters' safety awareness.
We tried to enforce engaging safety on the gun, and trying to keep the muzzle down or up. But we as the Range Masters needet to give some slack because of the stages design and no time between stages (your shooting window runs when you transition between stages, so you do not unload)
@@BigFootpl I understand; I wasn't trying to criticize a very dynamic event. It appears the range staff did an outstanding job, and the shooters (who I assume were carefully vetted before being allowed to participate) showed great proficiency and professionalism.
@@petesheppard1709 Thanks :) we had sometimes full pants after being sweept by loaded guns :P
@@BigFootpl Part of the thrill of competition...
@@petesheppard1709 lol...not really. I'm involves with as much competition as I can manage and it's never fun to have a mentally task loaded person sweeping you with a loaded firearm. I see a ton of Guntubers and Influencers that seem to be quite unaware of their muzzle and safeties. Some experts eh?
Last year we had a USPSA safety officer get killed in our region due too a dropped firearm going off and striking them critically. They didn't even do anything wrong. Competitor baubled the pistol onto the ground somehow.
I love these guys
So Poland likes guns too??
Or this a fed type thing??
Anyway great work ol’boys
Poland got ban on arms - you need an extensive tests to get gun. You do not have a right to defend and can be in prison if you defend yourself legitimately from a thief or killer.
That's partly truth. You need to get license to have a gun, and the reason for the most part, and easiest way to obtain it is to participate in competition shooting. By the law you are allowed to defend your life with anything you got, including illegal weapon! But you may face charges for excessive use of force etc, which is always a matter of judges do decide if it's the case or not. It's not that bad actually as some think. To be honest law abiding citizen should get license with no problem just as he got his driving license.
@@PoulFrommPolandA friend of mine hit a thief with a belt.
Next time he woke up, he faced charges for beat-up. And that was one shot.

Actual footage of the forward assist being used and not doing jack all
I'm AK guy but if I ever decided to buy an AR-15 platform, only the WWSD model (What would Stoner do) from In Range guys would do it for me.
Simplicity leads to reliability which as we see in this and Finnish brutality videos, is paramount.
@@davisor7116 ...What simplicity? It's just as simple as any other AR, arguably more complex due to the captured spring system and self contained trigger group, so I'm curious on how you came to that conclusion?
@@wolfgang_h3t
My response was to the guy that critiqued the forward assist as an unneeded redundancy and I agree with him.
And according to Stoner himself he was also very much against it and only added it because he was ordered to, because apparently marines liked it and that was that.
That's why WWSD AR rifle doesn't have forward assist and it's made according to Stoner's phylosophy and original designs.
And logicaly speaking and from experience, it's clear that simplicity in mechanics in general and in firearms in particular, as in less moving parts and as little blows and whistles as possible promotes durability, reliability and service intervals.
@@davisor7116 But here's the thing, I'm unaware of a single time where a forward assist (no, not misuse of the forward assist, the forward assist itself) has caused issues in regards to reliability, so basing one's rifle choice on wether or not there's a forward assist has always struck me as a little silly. And as I said prior, the WWSD has, arguably, more unnecessary complexity than the standard AR, so surely you can understand my confusion on the 'simplicity is tops, and the FA is uber bad cuz unnecessary complexity' attitude?
@@wolfgang_h3t To me, is about phylosophy of design and common sense which is well explained by Ian and the guys on 'In range' channel that created WWSD, with videos of Stoner's old interviews, (and I agree with them) so that's a better place for debating AR-15 issues but never the less I'll try to explain it in my broken english heh.
Stoner was hired mainly because of his experience in use of lightweight materials and that was one of the main demands of US army , a lightweight infantry rifle.
So if we are to nitpick, forward assist adds unnecesary weight but Stoner went even further in his critique, claiming that if a firearm has cycling issues it's most often caused by debris and logically you want the obstruction out of your barrel instead of ramming it inside, which can cause further problems and affect durability and reliability in a long run, which makes perfect sense.
But yeah, it's better to hear the arguments from Stoner himself.
Look like you guys had lots of fun. Thanks for sharing.
I will be waiting for a Heavy Infantry.
Actually, next time they plan to involve two shooting ranges and you would have to drive with your car between them. And perhaps bigger teams where each member has a designated role😀 but we will see
