We just spent 8 days and hit Maine, Mass. N.H. and Rhode Island. Three people two hotel rooms per night. Car rentals try to gouge, bait & switch. Hotels too, rooms can range from 130.00 a night to over 300.00. Worst stay by far was at the Embassy Hotel at the airport, over 300.00 per night and TERRIBLE service or complete lack of them. Stayed in Kittery 2 nights, Bangor 3 nights (do NOT recommend) nothing to do close by. Our faves were York Maine and Kennebunkport is beautiful!
