you should really take this video down and reupload it with all the rare drops. Implying that things like the classic link amiibo only gives you shock arrows when it has classic gear is misinforming the public

To all the people who are curious or didn't know, the 30th Anniversary LoZ Amiibos, (8-Bit LoZ Link, Ocarina of Time LoZ Link, Wind Waker LoZ Link, Wind Waker LoZ Zelda, SSB Toon Link, and SSB Link) have a chance of giving you pieces of Classic Link Green Tunic Costumes. The 8-Bit Link can give you pieces of the Hero gear, aka the Classic Hero Link Costume (Trousers, Cap, and Tunic of the Hero), Ocarina of Time Link can give you pieces of the Time gear, aka the Ocarina of Time Link Costume (Trousers, Cap, and Tunic of Time, and a chance for the Biggoron Sword), SSB Toon Link and Wind Waker Link and Zelda can give you pieces of the Wind gear, aka the Wind Waker Link Costume, and there is also a chance of getting the Sea Breeze Boomerang (Trousers, Cap, and Tunic of the Wind), SSB Link can give you gear of Twilight, aka the Twilight Princess Link Costume, and a chance of getting Epona (Trousers, Cap, and Tunic of Twilight) Just as a bonus, the SSB Zelda Amiibo can give you the Twilight Bow, and the Midna riding Wolf Link Amiibo, still spawns a Wolf Link. Those are all I know of, sorry if I left out any, please let me know of any others you may come across, but I hope this info was interesting or useful! :)
WARNING! POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD!
(edited) UPDATE: There is a way to get a Green Tunic Costume without the Amiibos, but it isn't any of the classic costumes, it's called the Tunic, Trousers, and Cap of the Wild. The way to get it, is by completing every shrine, all 120 of them, in the game, and once you do that you will get a quest called, A Gift from the Monks. This will require you to head to the shrine in the Forgotten Temple, and behind the shrine, and at the feet of the Goddess statue, there will be three chests all containing a piece of The Wild, gear. This gear somewhat resembles the Hero gear, but unlike the Amiibo costumes, The Gear of the Wild can be upgraded with dragon scales and dyed at the dye shop. Have fun with your new Green Tunics everyone!

this video was full of poor info, as you said, each time you scan you sometimes get armor, and other useful things, this video was not helpful
For those who want clarity on the video. Smash bros link can drop Epona, it's a one-time drop, so be careful with her. The wolf Link amiibo, not shown in the video, can drop a wolf link companion for you, who is actually fairly useful. The items in the chest are random drops, sometimes you get items, sometimes you get weapons, and very rarely you can get parts of an outfit when using other link amiibos.

I love how they failed to mention that the loot in the chest is random every time. also I found out that if you don't do the dungeon in twilight princess and use the wolf link amiibo right away in BotW Wolf Link starts out with 20 hearts instead of what you finish with

I haven't really been one for collecting amiibo, but the Link amiibo is definately been the most worthwhile with compatable games, so well chuffed at being able to summon Epona (wonder if you can have multiple Eponas, or just revive the same one if she dies?).
Least my Falco amiibo will be of some use as well.

xSportacus it summons wolf link as a companion for hunting and killing monsters. Its hearts are decided based on how well you did when u scan him in twilight princess HD. I haven't tried that, so by default he gets 3 hearts

These Amiibos drop more than just common weapons, the Link ones drop that specific Links outfit, Toon Zelda drops the Windwaker shield, and I think Sheik gives her mask

Rider Link gives you materials for your horse, not an actual horse. It shows it in this video too.

Each amiibo gives you different items each day and wolf link does give you a temporary companion if your not in a town. To show what the amiibos give you you would have to record multiple days of the same amiibo. I recived Epone from ocarina link the first play though then smash link on the second.
all the amibos [that have to do with legend of zelda] can give you a HUGE range of stuff, the link amibos for example can give you the outfits

Raider Link has an interesting rare drop. Traveler's horse gears. These are the ones on Link's horse in the very first trailer, you should take this in consideration.
Yea I think what drops is random. After a couple times of doing my Sheik amiibo, I got her headgear which helps with stealth. Can't wait to see if eventually will drop her hole outfit!! Still havnt got my epona yet though :(

Guys, it's good to note that you can get other things from the chests, for example 2:09 the Toon Link (this one is from Wind Waker same as the new one) also gives you the Hero's Clothes, which is the green hat, green tunic and the trousers so you can actually dress as the Hero of Time, IGN just did a bad job of showing it as usual.
You know it gives much more than this.... The treasure chest offering is different each time and has some pretty awesome stuff, including classic clothes from different LoZ titles.
I wished the Bokoblin amibo would make you become one of them...

It's funny that the "Rider Link" amiibo doesn't give you a horse but, the "Twilight Princess Link" does.

They didn't seem to mention that these rewards change each day. I have the archer link amiibo and I've gotten everything from normal arrows to royal bows. I believe every other Breath of the Wild amiibo varies in rewards too.

There is costumes, the chest are random based on the amiibo. Ex. Wind Waker Link can give you the Cap, Tunic, or Trousers from Wind Waker, but they can also give you random weapons and food.

You guys missed out on Wolf Link giving you the wolf ally (Just echoing many other comments), as well as what special items the amiibos actually can drop for you (ie. Rider Link giving you the champion/traveler gear for your horse) or 8bit link giving you the classic tunic).
You should try using the amiibo on top of an enemy, would be funny crushing them with the crates and/or chests.

Literally for the Champion Ballad Zelda, there's a chance you get the Hylian shield. Also for the Link Rider, you can get horse armor
link smash bros amiibo can also get you the pieces to the twilight princess link outfit. Ganondorf amiibo can get you the sword of the six sages (the sword he uses in the final battle in twilight)
That is a lot of amibos you got there... who needs that many legends of Zelda amibos?!?
These aren't the only things that come from these amiibo. For example, while the Toon Link amiibo (either 30th anniversary or SSBB) while always give various fish, the things that come from the chests WILL vary. In this case, it can be the Sea Breeze Boomerang, a piece of the "Of the Wind" clothing set, or something else significant from the WW game. Same goes with most of the other LOZ amiibo. Every other Link amiibo has a chance of giving the player a weapon, a cap, tunic, or trousers from that Link's game, or something else. You don't always just get a shield or a sword, along with some meat or fruit. If only the owner of this channel had verbally explained (emphasis on verbally) that this is not the case every single time you bust out your favorite Legend of Zelda amiibo you've had since who knows when.
Oh wow, for some reason I though the amiibo for breath of the wild were the only ones that worked in the game. Good thing I actually own the smash bros Toonlink and smash bros link.
