I wish the settings app would show a list of amiibos. Would be cool if there was an app on Switch that showed them like an extra collector feel.
There is nothing like this? So far its just statue on the shelf.... I was expectin something more... at least digital collection on switch
In a nutshell, this is the equivalent to the in app purchases of mobile phones
But u get a cool looking thing
its like gacha games, the outfits are just like the new character.
No because you can put them all on a shelf and re-sale them, think about it individual characters as pieces with re-sale value!
It’s more because of the figures itself and the extra things you get is a merely cherry on top. They could have added no extract gimmicks and would be still fun to buy since they look so good on the shelf
I hope you can choose the rid of your least valuable or powerful item for the item you want to pick up. Also set certain items like a leaf or torch to be off the auto drop list. Since those are weak weapons but rather useful tools. I hope that function will be in Botw 2
This seems interesting! Kind of an unimpressive bonus in Breath of the Wild, but hopefully it has other tie-ins to other games too!
When it says delete game data is it just for the amiibo or everything on the account?

Hi Marc, great video! I still need to register my amiibos! Do you have a screen protector on your Switch? What do you think of the stories of the screen getting scratched from the dock? Have you taken any precautions against this?

I bought my first amiibo and tried using it and it didn’t work. I tried it on botw and the amiibo is of Zelda from skyward sword with her bird. is there a setting I have to change or something cause I can’t figure it out

Do u need the game of the amiibo? For example do u need yoshis crafted world if u have the yoshi amibo
its not counting hours to decide when tio use it again.
It uses the date from the system.
It resets every midnight and can be tricked by changing the date on your switch
it does count hours. Every 24 hours to be exact. I tested this a few times. But switching the day to the next day, puts it 24 hours ahead and that's why that works. Try switching one hour back and going to the next day, you will see

To be honest at first i thought Link was Zelda since he was like the main character and the game is called Zelda so it would make sense for him to be Zelda

Just got an Amiibo and used it in Diablo 3, got a 48 hand crossbow to replace a 33, I get to still dual wield or carry a shield for my demon hunter so nice addition to my inventory

Since Amibo's get registered, does that mean if you have 2 switches in the house, you can't share the amibo unless you unregister it from the other switch? or is there a way to kind of in home share without paying out further more fortunes?

what does registering even do thoÉ i figured it was soi u could use ur amiibo on the go without having them on you...but it isnt..u still need the amiibo and it doesnt show u a list of ones u registerd so im nto sure the point of registering them

You can get all the non am-bo cards you dont need to register to use on team besos its 12:01 midnight to 12:01 midnight for me.

Well, you don't need to register them. You can still use them in Breath of the Wild even if you have never registered them.

The Switch is sold out everywhere! I can't wait to get mine. Do you feel that the pro controller and these Amibos are worth the money? I also hope and pray they put MLB RBI Baseball and Diablo III on this system. Great how to Video.

bty if you where wanting to hide your face we saw it on the reflection on the nintendo swirch
There's no reason to register amiibo on Switch for Zelda BotW purposes. Some WiiU games require it, but not Zelda. Also, nothing is saved to the amiibo for Zelda.
Also, you don't need to wait 24 hours. It resets at midnight based on your system's clock.

I'd give thumbs up. But the explanation starts of about putting the miniature on the thumb pad. However, does not explain what an Amiibo is. Like what it is for and what it does. OK you put it on the thumb pad for what? What is the purpose of those miniatures.
