PokeTrainerEthanYT Yes with small chests. But it still does the long ass cutscenes with large "chests" (and the cutscenes even take longer) These large "chests" are when you obtain your power thingies and when you activate a tower
i suppose but there are substantially less. 12 in total compared to 1 item 1 compass 1 boss key and 1 map at minimum per dungeon. Thats 4 x the typical amount of 8 dungeons varying per game of course making an average of 32 cutscene chests. Plus botws either serve story purpose being the cutscene that wraps up each champion's vignette or for maps an establishing shot of the area you get the map. Both could have been done without but it's a step in the right direction at least.
You can make Wolf Link have more lives, so that he would be more helpfull in game. If you have twilight princess hd then play the minigame of wolf link and get the heart pieces, there are 17, then you save it to the amiibo and there you go, you don't need to get all 17 but it's more thick and usefull even if is just for the meaning of staying longer alive and helpfull
But if you wanna get a full 20-heart wolf link then the TP zelda amiibo is pretty much required unless you're able to get through all 40 floors of the cave of trials without getting hit once. Or, you could be smart and use an NFC writer (like a Datel Powersaves: Amiibo Edition) and write a premade 20-heart wolf to it :D
Or you could beat it after Level 6 with a halfway decent amount of hearts left, and then play through it again and get to level 13 or whatever the next save point is. And then right before you jump down to save point #2, you scan the Wolf Link amiibo to heal yourself with the number of hearts that you finished with last time. If you didn't screw up massively either time, then this will heal you back to full health, you save, and boom, you got yourself a 20-heart Wolf Link. Have done this, I have a 20-heart Wolf Link in BotW, can confirm that it works.

I know I’m late af. But if you look at it this way, when you get wolf link, you are technically reviving a Hero of Legend that saved Hyrule of Twilight but you never knew no biggie. You are just reviving you ancestor and never knew.
Yeah as cool as it is the breakability kinda does devalue that stuff a lot. Still if you had unbreakable weapons the game would be just a bit too easy. Maybe if you get them once you have a choice to drop it again when you use your once a day drop instead hoping for another one randomly.

No it isn't. Paid DLC only makes sense. It's not really like they are locking content behind anything. The only disappointing thing you can't get in game is Epona, but alot of people have the Smash Link amiibo, so it doesn't really matter. Nintendo is really good at DLC though, so I don't know why you are whining about it.

I disliked every single I saw that said "Every Amiibo Drop" or "Every Amiibo Unlock" even though they don't even show what the fuck you can secretly unlock on the selected Zelda Amiibos. They mention it but are so lazy at editing that they don't even include a picture or at least a list in the description.
The problems with the horse registering in this game is, 1. You can't register ENOUGH horses. And 2. Once I got Epona and the giant horse, I didn't care about the others anymore. Or at least, as much. There should have been more categories of horses, and reasons for needing certain ones. So that none of them feel useless.
The things you get from the Wolf Link amiibo in games are cool, having a pet Wolf Link in Breath of the Wild and getting a Wolf Link Villager in Animal Crossing New Leaf.

From what I know, no. I'm not sure though, just spawn her in again using the Amiibo, then again I don't own a Wii U, Switch, the game nor any Amiibo so I shouldn't be one to talk.
I saw a comment that said he couldn't get her back, the Horse Fairy said none of the horses died, it was registered too. It would probably pointless since you already have the Amiibo, so reviving isn't really that convenient for Epona. Then again it could probably just be a troll lol.
it's important to remember that breath of the wild's link(rider) amiibo get's you the traveller's saddle and traveller's bridle.(also, they drop at the same time)

I can get all of this gear its just annoying placing the amiibo over and over and over again and then when you finally get the gear you either wait a day or change the date and repeat the process many times over. I just got the fierce diety armor from nfc codes off of my computer.

I think Epona should’ve come from the Ocarina of Time Link instead of Twilight Princess/Smash Link, since Epona’s first appearance was OOT, and Twilight could instead give the Ordon Sword/Shield. Toon Zelda should’ve given the Phantom Sword/Shield to match the Phantom armor. And honestly every Link Amiibo should’ve given their shield from their game in addition to the Weapon they give to fully match for some of the tunics except OOT, he would give either Biggoron sword or Epona, Classic Link: Shield with the cross MM Link: Mirror Shield Wind Waker Link: Hero Shield Skyward Link: Sacred Shield They also should’ve updated to have the Awakening Link to give the sword, shield, and tunic

Wolf Link is by far the best amibo for this game. You get more out of it then you do with the others. He helps you fight, locate shrines and locate treasure. The costume sets are cool, but are perhaps a little bit lazy. They all look extremely similar and have the same set bonuses (which is the same set bonus that the wild series has, and you don't need any amibo for that set.) The weapons and shields are all super cool though.
I'm just going to say thank you for having the common sense to make this video the correct way. All the info I came for, no bullshit. If you haven't already, I'd like to see you update this with the newer amiibos.

Ok I know I’m three years late to this but I am literally convinced that the Skyward sword amiibo doesn’t actually drop the Goddess sword. I’ve tried at least 60 times of redoing the amiibo and still haven’t seen it. Does it increase your chances if you have all the Devine beasts finished

i think its because you can only get the costumes with the 30th anniversary amiibo and not the smash bros one, it did give me something but no costumes or anything just a boomerang
It does work it just takes a long time! I only have the smash 4 toon link and I have toon link's full armor set. Just save before you use it, then if it's not an armor set then load the save before you used it.

i suppose but there are substantially less. 12 in total compared to 1 item 1 compass 1 boss key and 1 map at minimum per dungeon. Thats 4 x the typical amount of 8 dungeons varying per game of course making an average of 32 cutscene chests. Plus botws either serve story purpose being the cutscene that wraps up each champion's vignette or for maps an establishing shot of the area you get the map. Both could have been done without but it's a step in the right direction at least.

You can make Wolf Link have more lives, so that he would be more helpfull in game.
If you have twilight princess hd then play the minigame of wolf link and get the heart pieces, there are 17, then you save it to the amiibo and there you go, you don't need to get all 17 but it's more thick and usefull even if is just for the meaning of staying longer alive and helpfull
But if you wanna get a full 20-heart wolf link then the TP zelda amiibo is pretty much required unless you're able to get through all 40 floors of the cave of trials without getting hit once.
Or, you could be smart and use an NFC writer (like a Datel Powersaves: Amiibo Edition) and write a premade 20-heart wolf to it :D
Or you could beat it after Level 6 with a halfway decent amount of hearts left, and then play through it again and get to level 13 or whatever the next save point is. And then right before you jump down to save point #2, you scan the Wolf Link amiibo to heal yourself with the number of hearts that you finished with last time. If you didn't screw up massively either time, then this will heal you back to full health, you save, and boom, you got yourself a 20-heart Wolf Link.

Yeah as cool as it is the breakability kinda does devalue that stuff a lot. Still if you had unbreakable weapons the game would be just a bit too easy. Maybe if you get them once you have a choice to drop it again when you use your once a day drop instead hoping for another one randomly.

No it isn't. Paid DLC only makes sense. It's not really like they are locking content behind anything. The only disappointing thing you can't get in game is Epona, but alot of people have the Smash Link amiibo, so it doesn't really matter. Nintendo is really good at DLC though, so I don't know why you are whining about it.
The Ocarina of Time outfits feel more original and the twilight ones just look cooler

The problems with the horse registering in this game is, 1. You can't register ENOUGH horses. And 2. Once I got Epona and the giant horse, I didn't care about the others anymore. Or at least, as much. There should have been more categories of horses, and reasons for needing certain ones. So that none of them feel useless.

The things you get from the Wolf Link amiibo in games are cool, having a pet Wolf Link in Breath of the Wild and getting a Wolf Link Villager in Animal Crossing New Leaf.

I saw a comment that said he couldn't get her back, the Horse Fairy said none of the horses died, it was registered too. It would probably pointless since you already have the Amiibo, so reviving isn't really that convenient for Epona. Then again it could probably just be a troll lol.

it's important to remember that breath of the wild's link(rider) amiibo get's you the traveller's saddle and traveller's bridle.(also, they drop at the same time)

I can get all of this gear its just annoying placing the amiibo over and over and over again and then when you finally get the gear you either wait a day or change the date and repeat the process many times over. I just got the fierce diety armor from nfc codes off of my computer.

I think Epona should’ve come from the Ocarina of Time Link instead of Twilight Princess/Smash Link, since Epona’s first appearance was OOT, and Twilight could instead give the Ordon Sword/Shield. Toon Zelda should’ve given the Phantom Sword/Shield to match the Phantom armor. And honestly every Link Amiibo should’ve given their shield from their game in addition to the Weapon they give to fully match for some of the tunics except OOT, he would give either Biggoron sword or Epona,

Wind Waker Link: Hero Shield
Skyward Link: Sacred Shield
They also should’ve updated to have the Awakening Link to give the sword, shield, and tunic

Wolf Link is by far the best amibo for this game. You get more out of it then you do with the others. He helps you fight, locate shrines and locate treasure.
The costume sets are cool, but are perhaps a little bit lazy. They all look extremely similar and have the same set bonuses (which is the same set bonus that the wild series has, and you don't need any amibo for that set.) The weapons and shields are all super cool though.

Ok I know I’m three years late to this but I am literally convinced that the Skyward sword amiibo doesn’t actually drop the Goddess sword. I’ve tried at least 60 times of redoing the amiibo and still haven’t seen it. Does it increase your chances if you have all the Devine beasts finished

i think its because you can only get the costumes with the 30th anniversary amiibo and not the smash bros one, it did give me something but no costumes or anything just a boomerang
It does work it just takes a long time! I only have the smash 4 toon link and I have toon link's full armor set. Just save before you use it, then if it's not an armor set then load the save before you used it.
