A lot of mistakes in the Tseries part. Pakistan and Bangladesh don't speak Hindi but they do understand it, in fact, Pakistan singers were a big part of Bollywood before they were banned. Not only these 2, but even sri lanka, nepal and Afghanistan people watch bollywood. Also Tseries is not just based on Hindi, you said they probably will expand to other languages in the future but they already have, look up any Indian language and there is a tseries channel for it. And lets not forget the immigrants. Do I need to talk about the number of Punjabis In the Canada who definitely listen to Tseries considering the fact that they make most of the biggest punjabi songs? So they have a bigger audience than you think and they make songs in multiple languages too. Also less % of Indians have as much access to Internet as western countries do. And the number is growing every day. I personally feel MrBeast wont be able to take over Tseries ever.
Actually a very important thing that MrBeast is doing is that he is dubbing his vídeos, there's some of his vídeos in Spanish and Portuguese for example, I don't find that hard if he can get a strong Latin American following with this, plus young European kids and East Asian kids speak English earlier and earlier, opening a possible subscriber base.
But the real question is culture. Mr.beast is VERY loud. Which tend to be more appealing to more individualist countries like the United States where he is based. Would this loud personality work in countries with more collectivist countries. While this is a VERY oversimplified and culture is definitely more complicated than how I made it out to be, it’s interesting to see if he could be cross-cultural.

Assuming that Africa does get introduced more into the UA-cam scene, we HAVE to assume that the birth rate will go down.
@Harry Groundwater The problem isn’t as much the population shrinking. A major point you missed in the video is, you dont need a billion PEOPLE, you need a billion ACCOUNTS. Considering the size and scale of Tseries, it will surely endure for decades to come. In this time, hundreds of millions of new accounts will be born here in India, with old, possibly less active accounts, still being subbed. So, you dont need 40% of the contemporary population to be subscribed. Only 10% of all people at a time, coupled over a few decades, is more than enough. Since Tseries is a corporation, it does not age. PewDiePie or MrBeast will age, and the continued success of their channels is uncertain. Cocomelon is handicapped due to unsubscribtion rates. While Tseries content is watched by all age groups, Cocomelon content becomes redundant after a threshold age. Then accounts unsubscribe. All things considered, TSeries has the best shot in my analysis.
I HAVE A WAY FOR Mr.Beast to the target Indian audience He collaborates with many UA-camrs, including me its wish of many people in INDIA that Mr.Beast collaborates with an Indian UA-camr TRUST ME DO IT AND YOU'LL GET MORE SUB-GROWTH THAN IN SQUID GAME PERIOD
@@bacon5372 That was actually just one controversy long before T-series became as big as it is now. PewDiePie just used that as a roast in the great war of PewDiePie vs. T-Series. Let's be honest though, as much as I love PewDiePie, T-Series could easily bring up past controversies on him like he did to T-Series.
Mr beast has had many of his videos dubbed into different dialects of Chinese, Japanese, and many other languages. So his videos are now being watched by many people from many different countries.
Is there a Chinese channel for MrBeast? I don't think he have that one because you know what's going on in China right now especially on the internet censorship issues.
Mr beast also is experimenting with UA-cam corporation on the audio track feature, it will be basically upgraded captions where the actual audio playing is in a different language, if other big languages get implemented, he could have a much bigger potential audience. Also because of European and American influence, English (and India) alone gives the largest possible one language audience, Hindi and other Indian languages would instantly give mr beast many more subs.
H0ser, i like how you didn't just be lazy and say that pewdiepie would dominate all other UA-camr youtubers but actually looked at the growth rate of their channels. You deserve a sub from me
MrBeast Fr gonna be number one on UA-cam, he’s only 100 million subs behind T-series, it seems like a lot and yeah I wish I had that many when I’m acting like it’s nothing but for MrBeast it is nothing. When someone hits 1 Billion subs it’s gonna be MrBeast.
Ooh. I'm from Africa and I've been thinking to start a channel within the next year. The potential mentioned in Africa might be my final motivation towards a decision
It's very interesting to see you talk about how getting 1 Billion subscribers to play out, but I also have some things to add: For me, the audience usually won't unsubscribe for a channel they don't watch anymore; they usually do this if a channel gets into a controversy, so as long as Cocomelon adapts for newer, younger audiences, they won't have to deal with the issue of viewer stagnation sometime. The style that early childhood programs go for also hasn't changed much, so Sesame Street has continued to stay relevant, and maybe Cocomelon will be as well. Moreover, many people would still be interested in the same hobbies as they had been when they were young, even if they also have jobs or families to take care of. Heck, I've seen 30, 50, or even 70 year olds who are still geeks or play sports, so channels like Mr. Beast and T-Series might not be in the same rut of losing a quickly disinterested and aging audience, unlike Cocomelon. Honestly, UA-cam will survive as long as they don't screw up too horribly, even when competing platforms are better in other aspects. UA-cam already has such a huge pool of videos that everyone will have to go there at some point. The vast majority of users are also not very invested in UA-cam, and a lot of channels don't know about or see the need for competing platforms. Still, the way I can see UA-cam falling apart is if they do something so horrible that the government gets incolved or if they break the site so much that uploading or watching videos becomes terrible.

6:26 He already is international. Down here in South Africa people have been aware of him and have been following him since 2019 already. It's safe to say his name isn't the biggest here but a lot of people do know of him.
right but then again a lot of South Africa is in that realm of anglo influenced countries as that country was a British colony who has a more predominant western culture which would mean in the demographic which most watch Mr beast under.
As a German, I'd say you greatly underestimate how many of the non-native English speakers (in Europe, India & anywhere) consume English content. On the contrary, I think you overestimate how many non-English children will listen to English children's songs. From my experience, children mostly learn songs in their own language - English one's pretty much only in school which isn't the greatest view drawer. Cocomelon might have the advantage though, that small children use accounts (e.g.: of parents) that are more likely to become inactive i.e. won't unsubscribe.
The issue with the animal noises thing at 7:58 is that some languages have different noises for animals, like i think in japanese cows make a Mū sound instead of a Moo sound
The amount of time this guy must've put into this is crazy. You've earned a sub man keep up the good work! Also I just wanna point out that Mrbeast probably has the best chance out of the 3 bc cocomelon and t-series is run by adults and stuff and by like 2030 or 2040 they will be a bit old to be uploading. Meanwhile Jimmy is still in his 20s. Although I can't imagine him still uploading at like 40 yrs old so its more likely that someone from this generation of kids will grow up to be the first to 1b, especially if they are African.
I can imagine mrbeast uploading till he physically can't. He lives for this and I don't see him getting burnt out like other ytubers. Only time will tell.
I think your analysis doesn't factor in that subscribers don't necessarily equal fans or real people. As long as Mr Beast stays relevant (Which I think is more likely than with the other channels since his brand evolves only around him) I defintely see him winning since more young people around the world learn English who would be his prime demographic. I also see him not loosing his folowers as they get older that much because his videos will still stay somewhat relevant to them and are not as annoying in your sub box like corporate accounts
He also factored in that audiences will grow out of certain channels, but I feel like he did so too much. Most people that subscribe to a lot of channels don't really unsubscribe when they grow out of it, because they'd have to constantly update their subscriptions.

@@iamnotksi2847 this channel talks about geography so he/she has the right to say that not to mention the video is also mostly talking about geography aspect points along the whole subscribers thing
African birth rates are the least concerning, it’s not about pure numbers it never was. The concern is how Americans and other first world countries consume 20x as much resources as Africans. A hundred million people could easily consume more than billions of people, that’s already the case

im pretty sure they don't use sub bots because there is no proven evidence of it I think the sad but undeniable truth is that cocomelon would reach it first
Also he uses bots for views Some months ago i checked his chanel and he posted 2 videos in the same day, one of them had 17k views only and other more than 1milion views BRUG
An update on this. MrBeast recently moved all dubbing to his main channel with the audio tracks feature, as a result, everyone of other languages will now view just one channel. This accelerates MrBeast’s growth. He will be the first UA-cam channel to reach 1 billion subscribers on August, 2027. He may really well achieve it before then since the feature for audio dub tracks only recently released.
The most likely candidate is UA-cam, when they change that you are automatically subscribed. The second most likely channel would be a channel that solely exists to reach a billion subscribers (like the egg)
I could honestly see a huge meme channel made to reach 1B subs become the most subscribed like the Instagram egg. One thing I've noticed about the internet is that people LOVE working together to achieve very meaningless goals lol. The egg still has 20M+ more likes than any other IG post. The two biggest examples I can think of where this was the case on YT are: 1. PewDiePie vs. T-Series, which literally made PewDiePie's name well-known by like 40M new people. 2. The YT video "Neutral Response", which had the exact same amount of likes as dislikes all the way up to when YT hid dislikes. (Last time I checked before YT hid dislikes, it had like 575K likes and the EXACT same amount of dislikes)
Actually, what you think will happen to Africa already happened to India. Internet companies expanded into the subcontinent, then Google and Facebook forcibly tried to expand their platforms. Facebook was about to succeed but T-Series acted as Google's secret weapon that made UA-cam win. That is why T-Series is successful on UA-cam. The same thing could happen to Africa if Google notices another forced expansion would be more profitable. Google would then replace the UA-camrs in leading the platform into Africa, and ally with an African entertainment startup (of which there are many) and culturally take over.
Yo, you forgot that MR. BEAST Has channels in other languages, and few channels besides the main one. Combined he has more than 250 Million views, and he does not have the culture-language barrier that you think he has
The one to hit one billion subs (in my opinion) would be someone who respected all cultures For example, if they were an animator, they would do dubs on other languages on their animations if they respected the fact that there could be people with different languages watching them.
Mr Beast's rapid growth is really justifiable Perhaps this isn't a comment about him reaching a billion subscribers, but his channel is literally the best of UA-cam. He knows how to really make attractive videos and make people stay on them. If Pewdiepie is the King of UA-cam, MrBeast is the Masterclass of UA-cam.
@@windowsxpmemesandstufflol PewDiePie is also not a individual, He also got people working for him by your logic, I can say that you are a PewDiePie fan because of your pfp
To think that all the history of UA-cam, including these views/subscribers milestones, all passed in about 20 years, yet the next achievement may not even happen in 30 years
I personally think Jimmy will do it,he know the importance of international media And tbh,T-Series or cocomelon don't deserve it,they aren't making actual UA-cam content, they are just a bunch of companies
The thing is to reach a billion it doesn't come to the youtubers ability , its who has access to the internet in the first place and who among those who already have access is interested in your videos, like old ppl, young, kid etc... all this and many more factors should be considered.
8:40 Most of Cocomelon's subscribers are day care teachers and we have had day care since the dawn of man, so you shouldn't be worried about Cocomelon. The same day care teachers will replay the same videos, and their students will still subscribe, parents at home, subscribed, and this trend will only continue. Cocomelon is not going anywhere. In fact, if my original anime flops, I'm going to go straight after Cocomelon's crown and target day care teachers instead, because I already know it will work.
I feel like PewDiePie could make a resurgence if UA-cam loosened up it’s content restrictions i’ve watched a few of his videos recently and I’ve heard him talk about the content restrictions He was talking about not being able to make edgy videos anymore because UA-cam will remove them and he is afraid of getting his channel removed that’s what happened with his coco melon diss track it got removed after two days it was sitting at around 70 million views he got one strike on his channel because of that so now he does reaction videos to play it safe
I don't think so, because PewDiePie is aging. When PewDiePie first became the largest UA-camr, he was only 23 years old. By 2024 he's going to be a middle aged man.
Remember out of 1.4 billion Indian population more them 500milion people can understand English ( may be they can't speak or write or their grammer is not good like me ) but they understand, and after internet revolution and good social and economical benifits of English, this number is increasing day by day , the type of content created by Mr beast is likable for everyone . And Now they are making translated video also so I think it is very easy for Mr beast to hit 1.5 billion in next 7 years..
It will keep growing infinitely because even if people die their youtube account will be subscribed to channels they like and as new people subscribe channels will keep growing.
I think it's unlikely that you'll see an African channel hit 1 billion first. We in the west are often quick to lump all of Africa together as one region but as you said it's quite diverse. It would face a similar problem to T-series with India's linguistic and cultural differences but tenfold.

Right! no account no subs! thank you!
I HAVE A WAY FOR Mr.Beast to the target Indian audience
He collaborates with many UA-camrs, including me its wish of many people in INDIA that Mr.Beast collaborates with an Indian UA-camr

TSERIES TRASH
THEY USE PIRATED MUSIC
@@bacon5372 That was actually just one controversy long before T-series became as big as it is now. PewDiePie just used that as a roast in the great war of PewDiePie vs. T-Series. Let's be honest though, as much as I love PewDiePie, T-Series could easily bring up past controversies on him like he did to T-Series.
Honestly, with these technologies nowadays anyone could learn a language. I'm a non-English speaker myself and yet I enjoy English content.
@@wazzup233 No Chinese channel, but he dubbed all of his video in different languages
Yes, some videos of mrbeast are already available in Spanish and Portuguese.

i hope this will be added one day
H0ser, i like how you didn't just be lazy and say that pewdiepie would dominate all other UA-camr youtubers but actually looked at the growth rate of their channels. You deserve a sub from me
Technically the accounts don't need to be active, ten years from now, it could easily happening.
Bro's over 300 million subscribers in 1 year he's growth is insane and it's not even slowing down by much💀
Very informative video with great hypothetical analysis!
Ooh. I'm from Africa and I've been thinking to start a channel within the next year. The potential mentioned in Africa might be my final motivation towards a decision
Ok
do it!
please remember me in a decade
It's very interesting to see you talk about how getting 1 Billion subscribers to play out, but I also have some things to add:
For me, the audience usually won't unsubscribe for a channel they don't watch anymore; they usually do this if a channel gets into a controversy, so as long as Cocomelon adapts for newer, younger audiences, they won't have to deal with the issue of viewer stagnation sometime.
Dame and omg we get why do you two make that long comment
1 prob UA-cam is making them unsub for no reason at all lol

7:10 COCOMELON! me: *runs*
Cocomelon is a corporation not a person.
So pewds is still king
6:26 He already is international. Down here in South Africa people have been aware of him and have been following him since 2019 already. It's safe to say his name isn't the biggest here but a lot of people do know of him.
Nice
right but then again a lot of South Africa is in that realm of anglo influenced countries as that country was a British colony who has a more predominant western culture which would mean in the demographic which most watch Mr beast under.
Mr Beast might hit a billion unique subs if we were able to discern between his different channels in different languages
The issue with the animal noises thing at 7:58 is that some languages have different noises for animals, like i think in japanese cows make a Mū sound instead of a Moo sound
Still, as he said, children don't need to understand what's going on. They're dumb and like bubbly animations.

T series is corporation they hire people how could they run out of people
I think your analysis doesn't factor in that subscribers don't necessarily equal fans or real people.

African birth rates are the least concerning, it’s not about pure numbers it never was. The concern is how Americans and other first world countries consume 20x as much resources as Africans. A hundred million people could easily consume more than billions of people, that’s already the case

I believe Mr Beast would be the most likely because how diverse his videos are and he always has a heart warming story that can gain views and subs.
I agree. Plus he's actually been staying consistent as one of the fastest growing channels on the platform for over 3 years now. His videos just keep getting better and better, and I heard that YT also is experimenting with dubs built in to channel videos so that someone in another language can watch an English video but hear it in Spanish (or another language).

im pretty sure they don't use sub bots because there is no proven evidence of it
I think the sad but undeniable truth is that cocomelon would reach it first

@@felgas3005 and today they post Vikram vedha trailer 44 million views in one days so it depends on content.
This video really puts into perspective how many people don't use the internet. Starlink just made sense to me.
The two biggest examples I can think of where this was the case on YT are:
6:06 Never though someone would say not enough indians.
2:34 so Africa, South America and Australia don't exist anymore?
very nice in depth explanation good job!
@Aradhya Mishra It can be divided between English, French, Portuguese and Arabic speaking audiences (Not counting North and South Africa).
Yo, you forgot that MR. BEAST Has channels in other languages, and few channels besides the main one. Combined he has more than 250 Million views, and he does not have the culture-language barrier that you think he has

0:53 sheesh thats almost 1/8th
Nice video, but you made a typo @9:09
Imagine having almost 1/8 of the WHOLE world subscribed and watching your videos
1/9. we are talking about the future
The one to hit one billion subs (in my opinion) would be someone who respected all cultures
For example, if they were an animator, they would do dubs on other languages on their animations if they respected the fact that there could be people with different languages watching them.
4:30 Wait… Only Pewdiepie has 1 Mil? XD

To think that all the history of UA-cam, including these views/subscribers milestones, all passed in about 20 years, yet the next achievement may not even happen in 30 years
There are only 2.3 billion youtube users. So, to get to a billion, you need half of the platform agree to signup to one channel.
Technically if someone dies subscribed to a channel it still counts, and new people are born everyday

The thing is to reach a billion it doesn't come to the youtubers ability , its who has access to the internet in the first place and who among those who already have access is interested in your videos, like old ppl, young, kid etc... all this and many more factors should be considered.
In about 20 years, the first billion-subscriber UA-cam channel will appear
8:40 Most of Cocomelon's subscribers are day care teachers and we have had day care since the dawn of man, so you shouldn't be worried about Cocomelon. The same day care teachers will replay the same videos, and their students will still subscribe, parents at home, subscribed, and this trend will only continue. Cocomelon is not going anywhere. In fact, if my original anime flops, I'm going to go straight after Cocomelon's crown and target day care teachers instead, because I already know it will work.
What if the students decide to unsubscribe after they get older and older and if parents no longer need cocomelon for their kids?
The most classic line for Americans for pretty much anything:
Get Africa.
7:48
