The public buses in Nigeria are an apology to start with! 99.9% of vehicles used for public transport are rickety ramshackle death traps! 99.9% of public transport drivers are stark illiterates who have never had a driving lesson! These combinations are recipes for disaster!!! The federal ministry of transport need to facilitate severe reforms to improve the standards of public transportation and public safety across the federation!! While accidents can happen in any country of the world, the overriding problem of scant regard for citizens of Nigeria by government needs to stop! Only governments that have no respect for its citizens would allow them to enter such dilapidated modes of transport! Rickety Danfos , most of which are over 50 years old are still allowed to operate on Nigerian roads!!! This needs to stop!! 25 years of democracy ought to have begun to yield the dividends by now and should begin to impact on the people by improving their standard of living! 👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!!!
Most situations like this is the passengers that die and not the driver. The drivers will immediately find their way before the collision. Some drivers their body will be smelling of alcohol and tobacco. Very irresponsible individuals.
Nigeria is a failed state. What stops the federal government from building rails from Lagos to the East? Decongestion of roads from a lot of moving vehicles will help.
Well done for the good work you are doing Frsc, but sir you need to tell the ministry of work to repair that road,I use to ply that road very well From interchange down to ijebu ode., please do that sir
Drivers need to be examined from the park b4 they move even on the high ways RSC have the right to.test them that is their duty if they were on alcohol
Nigerian government should repair the roads. Most of these roads are in a deplorable state including this Ọrẹ-Lagos expressway. I can continue counting other major highways in a very bad state that which many a time bring about many other abnormalities like driving against traffic.
This is pathetic. If a passenger reports the driver to the road safety officers at a checkpoint, I believe some passengers will frown upon it, claiming he or she just wants to cause a delay. Let our drivers, the FRSC, the government, and all other relevant agencies take the necessary actions expected of them. May the souls of the departed rest in the bosom of the Lord, and may the two survivors currently in the hospital be resuscitated soon.😢😢😢
Repair the federal roads....therell be no need to take one way... which usually happens along that sagamu - benin express way. Drivers and their companies too can be penalized for reckless driving along the road. Government is always passing the blame to the citizens. Which one is the govt role ?
So many of the drivers are reckless including some passengers. Some drivers overtake at corner, before the crst of the hill, some passengers make or receive calls in filling station. When you call the out, they will tell you nothing is happening. Nevertheless call out anyone doing such whether driver or passenger.
A lot of the vehicles can never pass road worthiness test taking passengers in terrible buses dat don't have all parts in order should be a contradiction to the passengers safety and shouldn't be on the road for dat purposes

😢 so sorry dear, may God give you the strength to bear the loss
Could it be bad road that made them drive against traffic or was the road blocked? What happened? The deaths are a daily occurrence now

Oga you supposed to talk of bad roads. If the roads are good, would there be need for plying one way by drivers?
If there are no road blocks, would there be unnecessary hold ups on the road?
