- YT made a change and it makes me madder than a wet hen! I don't know why they are doing this to viewers, and I don't know why they are doing it to creators. It is FRUSTRATING as both a consumer and creator.
Your channel is a BLESSING!!! Don't allow the Devil to intimidate you into quitting! He is only allowed to THREATEN you into backing down. God will send you CLEAR messages when or if it's time to move on or move different. You are literally the ONLY one that spoke DIRECTLY to my off and on again situation of not being stable and having to battle those feelings of inadequacy as a Mom, homeschooling kids, leaving my church, fighting disorganization, and having/wanting a large family. I have listened to SEVERAL other homestead Moms and THIS is where I pull from in times when I just want to quit the assignment. Because of your testimony, I just got my first client today for my sewing business that I became confident enough to start as of 2 days ago from one of your recent videos. All because you decided to turn your camera on and share your life story. I will say a word of prayer for the situation you've been presented with that God sends the provision for the vision! We need to see more women demonstrating diligence in this type of ministry! I pray more women discover you.
UA-cam has removed all my usual homestead homeschool mamas from my regular feed. Have to look them up manually
Same here! I’m subscribed to receive all notifications for them and yet I don’t receive squat. Something is definitely up with it all

That's 100% deliberate! Anything that doesn't promote the current administration's propaganda gets "shadow banned". ANYONE who promotes self reliance, self sustainability, free thinking, homeschooling, gardening, farming... ECT is all getting shut down. The powers that be do NOT want this information to be seen... Imagine that.... Hmmm. Wonder why that could possibly be?🤔
I'm subbed to many different types of channels. Homesteader channels, home schooler channels, gardening, farming, free thinking, anti- gov/ VAX/ truth speaker channels ALL of which are getting demonetized, shadow banned, unsubscribed to, views and likes are being suppressed,.... UA-cam or rather the people who are controlling what the platform deems promote worthy and ban worthy are really messing with anyone who isn't pushing their narratives or posting obvious woke support.
I have to continuously keep manually resubscribing and typing the channels I like and follow in the search bar to find any of their videos. It's really sad and pathetic what's going on. In SOOOO many different ways.
My daughter saw me watching this, walked over, stood next to me and held my hand while we watched together 🥹
My suggestion would be to add the brief three step instructions in a footnote in the description of each video now. This way those who did not see THIS particular video will still get this information. Thank you
I just wanted to say that your new videos always pop up for me and I don't have notifications on. :) Also, so many of us creators are feeling this from different platforms. I'm dealing with this issue with my blog, which has provided a solid part-time income for my family for several years. Because of algorithm updates I'm contemplating a part-time job myself now. Instagram and Facebook are not easy, and to be honest I feel they are both oversaturated. It's a tough time to be a creator right now.
That’s so frustrating. I found your channel recently have watched at least 15 videos just yesterday and today! They’ve been such a blessing to me for sure. I relate so much to you in so many ways, though I am a mom of 3 soon-to-be 4 kids all under 5! I’m definitely in an “overwhelmed” season of my life, but this channel is helping me, along with Jesus. ❤

This is how UA-cam has been working for years now. They don't care about their creators at all.

I recently found your channel. Can I just say, you have been such a blessing to me to watch your content. You are real, you are encouraging, you are inspiring. The list goes on. I had been struggling lately with feeling stressed and wondering why I just can’t seem to keep up with things in my home, and accomplish what I want to and “should” accomplish, all the while caring for my 21mo and 4mo kids. Well, one thing I kept hearing you say is that if you have kids under two, not everything can get done, and it’s OK. I’ve started to actually be able to give myself grace for things as I continue to remember what you say! So I want to say a huge thank you ❤ I also am really inspired to can my own food! (Some day, when it’s the right season 😉).

Yeah I totally don't get some of the videos that I sub to. UA-cam even unsubscribed me from an account I've been watching for 15 years. I watch it all the time so that was so odd. I had to look it up. I have been a patron of them for a decade too so that was so weird. I like that you said, "madder than a wet hen!" Hehe. I have notifications on for you!

I've been wondering what's been happening to the channels I like and why UA-cam isn't recommending them anymore. I also think it has to do with the videos I'm choosing to watch. It seems to be that when I watch a channel, I'll see their updates for a few weeks, but if I don't watch one of their videos they fall off the carousel so to say. It's been frustrating because I can't keep up with every single channel... And once I start watching certain topics (homeschool, homesteading, Christian) I will get only see other videos that pertain to that subject. It's like they don't think we are able to be multifaceted people. Or maybe it's based on the last 5 videos you watched.. who knows. Anyway, took your advice... Now to unsubscribe from channels I don't watch anymore.

I think its all faith based channels, because all of the faith based ones i subscribed to have all disappeared and its hard to find. But the other ones i have that are from one end of the spectrum to the other im getting notifications galore! Sometimes it will tell me someone has uploaded from the non faith based channels 4 or 5 times in a row about the same videos.

I see yours all the time as well as all my subscriptions. However, I don't rely on the feed on the homepage because that shows all sorts of stuff, some from channels I follow, some from channels I don't.
I click on the subscriptions tab (3rd down on the left on desktop, one of the buttons on the bottom on mobile), and it shows me in reverse chronological order all the things that the channels I sub to have posted. I scroll down to the last time I watched YT and see which I'm interested in and watch those.
Thanks so much for the follow-up. I now receive every notification about your channel since I clicked on the bell and opted to receive all notifications. So whether it's a video or a post in your community tab, I'm now informed.

I'm sorry you are having a hard time. However, I don't really understand the issue. I'm pretty sure, at least so far, that I see all new videos from all the channels I am subscribed to in my subscriber feed. Even if I miss something in the feed, I can always check my favorite channels for a blue dot. I check my subscriber feed on desktop daily, just like I do email, and then watch whatever I'm interested in.

I know. & it's such a let down, because tbh most of the awesome stuff I have learned in the past several years has been from channels like this. It has such awesome capabilities, but the powers that be keep making it annoying in it's function.

I used to get notifications for ur videos all the time and they have dropped to the wayside. I double checked today to make certain all was set accordingly for ur channel and it was so I am not sure what the deal is with UA-cam on this. I will certainly keep a better eye out for myself of ur videos in the future now regardless of what UA-cam thinks its doing 😒

I silence all notifications on my phone, and YT as well but I’ve always seen your vids shortly after they go up and I’ve never had troubles seeing the new vids posted from those I follow. Just throwing that out there. Maybe something else is going on?

I know i don't comment as much as i should, and im so sorry for that, but im so so very glad you didn't quit UA-cam😅, BUT there is also another way to make money from home, now other people may have said this before, but it doesn't hurt to say it. Bloging. This is something you can make a lot of money from, im mean when i say "a lot" im mean A LOT of money. Now it all depends on how much work your willing to put in it. And this is something other people can do to, you dont even need a nack for writing, BUT dont take my word for it look into it yourself and see if this is something that God whats you to do.

I think I have figured it out. I watch Marion's Kitchen. She's based in Australia. Marion is half Australian and Thai. She DOESN'T do religious content beyond how to put together a beautiful and unique spread. I always get notifications from her. No problem!

Yes and no. While the channel itself is free, producing quality content like I do that people will watch is quite costly.
