Owned a 2011 Ducati 848 EVO for 6 years 2015-2021. The first part about the wiring, oil leak from there was what I encountered. Due to the heat, the wires were fked up and I kept getting error code 5.1 saying BATT HI or something, My headlights and dashboard was flickering on and off, based on error code and ducati forum, it pointed towards the rectifier. Changed the rectifier and battery but the problem still persisted. End up it was the wire which was burned out already. Change to a lithium battery too after that because i realised the normal YUASA battery doesnt last long for me. The plastic coolant bottle also tends to leak after awhile due to the heat and the positioning. In my experience, I think the 848 is a good bike to own because it shares parts with the 1098 and 1198. Seeing your bike makes me miss mine as i have sold it during the COVID-19 period. szep motor de inkabb egy Fireblade vagy egy Gixxer.
Egyszeruen nyaron hasznalhatatlan a motor. A borruha tud egy picit segiteni, de az sem igazi megoldas.
Szoval ugy vagyok vele mint parasztbacsi az allatkertben a zsiraffal, szep, szep de otthonra nem kene..

The bike is a total failure. Never again!!!!!
I own a 2006 999R and a 1098S Tricolore 2017. Owned them both since new and have never had any issues with them both. Is it possible your bike was beat up a bit or just a factory flawed build? Saying “every” Ducati has these issues is a bit misleading bud!
@@ocasio3024 it isn't misleading. I'm in lots and lots of Facebook groups and everywhere, everyday I'm seeing these issues.
Of course depends on the km also. Yours is might be fine or just did experienced yet these flaws.
