Great video! Have the same bike, the worst part about it in my opinion is the vibrations in low speeds (below 50km/h) and a bit short gears. Otherwise the bike is lovely, and is some of the best looking bikes out there!
Thank you, noway; what colour you got? Yeah I feel them too but they vibrations get overshadowed by the horrible position I’m in hahah! Agreed, still looks like a new bike even though it’s 13 years old
@@britboybike_adventures3813 Mine is black :) I'm not that tall (5'7) so the riding position is good for me. Can't wait to get back on the road again. The weather is still a bit to cold here in Sweden.
@@nsren92 that’s awesome, sometimes I’m painted to get mine painted black too haha but I’m sure it’ll cost loads! Sweden no way! Yeah I bet riding days are far and few between
i have a 899, and im pretty sure there isn't much progress on the comfort front, in town, traffic it's pretty horrid. BUT, get it on a motorway and you can crunch through miles, 300 a day no sweat, bearing in mind you have to stop every hundred or so miles for fuel/food or a piss, or all 3, so short breaks make it doable
I always wondered if the 899 or 959 were more comfortable, guess that explains it! That's impressive on your end though, if I tried 300 miles on mine I think I would need a new body transplant 🤣
Obviously doesn't have tourer comfort but for a super sport I like the way one can put tension between knees and foot pegs by pressing knees into the tank. Good video
Good review. I get almost 200 km out of my tank (around 25-30 km on reserve) without barely trying to save fuel, so you might want to get your fueling settings and tank checked.
That's good to know thank you, do you have links for these products please? Tried googling but I'm not sure I'm looking at the right thing. I've looked at maybe getting a higher seat but they're £200 minimum for a proper one
Very subjective question🥸. In my opinion, a motorcycle gives you the thrill that a supercar would at a fraction of the price. Also, when it's nice and sunny out there's no better feeling than being on a bike through some country lanes or on the way to the beach. But, downsides are it's more dangerous than a car and a bike like this you couldn't use it to go to work (not very practical). Hope that helps!

Thank you, oh waoh big difference there. It’s either my dodgy riding or like you said something not working correctly
Love this please post more!
If you’re tall, you can really benefit from rear sets and HeliBars aftermarket clipons
And a rear height adjuster
That makes it much more bearable

I have a Sargent seat which I really like, but a cheaper alternative would be checking with a local upholstery place, see what they can do for you.
Great video I enjoyed watching it, you pretty much said everything I think about mine lol
Thanks man, honestly I do love her but I think I’m ready for something a bit more practical!
Good stuff man, I enjoyed it too.
Thank you!
Great ride
Hell yeah
Nice 🎉
Jam town Essex??
No idea what Jam Town is but yes I’m in Essex 😂
How much is that motor bike
£5,000 I paid for it in 2020. I think it's worth probably the same now after 4 years
Are they better then cars
