Yes it really is. Looking forward to the next trip and exploring all the areas and ports along the way. I haven’t been past the Isle of Wight. Always exciting going to new areas you haven’t explored. Also going to squeeze Belgium in in the next few weeks 😮💨💪👌🏼
Lucky man, been trying to twist Frans arm to come over but she won’t. Ferry is safer 😂 pick your days wisely on the crossing or it will be the last time she comes 😎
We always pick up the moorings outside Yarmouth. Its always crazy rafting 2-3 deep in the summer. They can be a little rolly but generally all calms down in the evening and allows for an early getaway minus drama.
I couldn’t bear the thought of rafting, people walking over my boat and paying money for the pleasure. I did see the buoys outside but I needed some decent dinner before the crossing and a cold beer. Any good anchoring grounds near. I suppose the tides are that strong it’s not worth the risk over £25 quid for a buoy. Thanks for watching
@@EastCoastSailing_ There is a good water taxi service into the marina at Yarmouth and lots of good eating places. Salty's for pizza .. well recomended. Newtown Creek or Beaulie are good interim spots for a nighter but no eating at either.
@@EastCoastSailing_ I've a Yanmar 3JH3E the mounts are 100/150 spec, according to the technical data the 150's go on the port side 100's stbd, due to the torque reaction under load, seems strange that yours are for/aft split. thanks for your reply.
@@pauldent7067 no worries. The ratings are as per the installation I did in the video. Followed the manual and parts ordered for the specific engine. Even gives the ratings on the pdf of the product. Have a read of this also ellebogen.com/en/yanmar-3ym30-engine-mount-replacement/
Lymington is a great marina - a lovely sail from Brighton 👍

Very keen to see how you get on with the passage to and from Belgium as Mrs H has now expressed a willingness to venture across the Channel 😊

@@coljhall Amazing, thanks for the information. I do love a pizza. I’ll be heading to the Isles of Scilly next year and tuck in Yarmouth.
Out of interest, Did you replace the mounts wth genuine Yanmar?
