Literally just watched four guys do the job of two! Our company has developed a automatic wall rolling machine that allows two people to install a pool this size. How about that cut liner pad and hosing of water on the pool pad. I know the manufacturer suggests this but it's a mistake to spray it with water right before installing the liner. We never spray the liner pad with water because it traps moisture permanently behind the liner and causes rust on the wall behind the liner. I give this install a 6 out of 10. Also steel coping under the top rail suggest to me this is not a salt water pool.
I definitely appreciate your comment and observation! Makes sense not to spray the liner because it will trap moisture. I agree with your rating of a 6. I am going to drop it to a 5 because they smoked cigarettes the entire time and left the buts for me to clean. I did complain to the company but no response. The pool is definitely salt water
DIY Bill Not sure what the expert is stating , an above ground pool sweats the entire life cycle of the pool like a can of soda outside, we follow the manufacture installation techniques to make sure that they are done properly from the start to finish, if you ever went back to a pool that you changed a liner on the sand is moist, we also recommend wetting the sand for a harder sand compaction if not using the liner pad (not sure about this comment) We also want to make sure we have enough employees to get the jobs done daily and on time, not to cut cost on labor to make sure they perform at the highest level to put out quality installations every day.
Do you still have the pool 4 years later?
Still have it and it's in great condition
Just for the record. I have seen other pools much rustier than yours. Not to say that your 1st one was any better. Just pointing it out.
Cove wasn't installed properly

Sorry for the smoking in the yard and not cleaning up after them selves, hope you enjoy the pool for many years
