Hi Angel, just came across your channel, in a sea of POD/Etsy channels I am glad I found yours, I like your fast pace no waffle content. I learnt at least 2 new things about Kittle even after using it for ages. Keep up the great work, checking out more of your vids now. One question, have you had any issues with non-supplier Mockups? apparently Etsy cracking down on these.
I've had zero issues with non-supplier mockups. I exclusively use non-supplier, high quality mockups because they are higher converting. From everything I have gathered the reason why some people's mockups were being flagged and causing suspensions was due to using mockups that were the exact same ones on competitor websites like temu. So it was all bot-related. I would scope out shein & temu occasionally and avoid using those really popular mockups. Hope this helps!
Hey love! I subscribed. Your information was very helpful. I do have a question. The mockups that you can get off of HollyMockups, I noticed the shirt you used in the video had a certain color. What if the shirts we are designing don't offer that color? Do we show more than one mockup color or just one mockup and let the customers use their imagination for the other colors when picking other variants? Is there a way to change the mockup shirts color? This is the block in the road Im experiencing at this moment.
I usually only list 4-5 colors (and sometimes just one) and include a mockup photo of each in listing or use a color chart. I check to make sure the print provider has a specific color before using or purchasing the mockup.
Hi Angel! I am loving all of your videos! I have a question, when you are creating a custom order (that you're manually editing & not using Hello Custom for), do you first create your listing in Printify and then just delete all the SKUs in Etsy so it will go into your "Other Orders" tab in Printify? I've created a listing that Hello Custom can't do, as the shirt has designs on front and back. Thanks so much for any help you can offer, I appreciate your helpful videos so much! :)
Thank you, glad you find my videos helpful! 😊 for custom orders I create them in etsy (usually just duplicate another similar custom listing and edit as needed) making sure to toggle on the personalization option. This is the fastest way to do it :) then the orders will go straight to other orders tab and you can add in the customization there. For designs that aren't customized, I make them in printify first :) hope this helps!
@@passiveincomeangel You're amazing! Thanks so much for your fast reply! That is very helpful. :) By the way, my 8-year old always picks you as her favorite UA-camr, she loves your name.
Thanks for the like and reply. I have a quick question, I have made a design and uploaded to Printyfy, does there need to be a minimum DPI on your tshirt? Thanks again :)
@@philipthomas6511 when possible I prefer 300 DPI but as long as when you upload the design to printify and it says "high resolution" that's what I pay attention to most since that will impact the final print quality. When using kittl for designing I just use their POD preset canvases or if in another design software I usually do 4500x5400 px. Hope this helps :)
This is so helpful, thank you! Quick question, when i search for butterfly cottagecore shirt on Etsy i get 1,000+ results. How did you get 79 results? I'd love to know your tricks.
Glad you found it helpful! I searched "vintage cottagecore butterfly shirts" so it was a long-tail keyword search :) (Etsy had applied "vintage" on the top left but then took it out of the keywords shown in the search bar if that makes sense)
I also had AMAZING success with this other prompt, feel free to copy & use: A collage of various butterfly and moth species, including moths with iridescent wings on white background. The artwork is influenced by the scientific illustrations found in entomology books from around 20th century Europe. It features intricate patterns and textures that resemble butterflies' wing designs, creating an artistic representation suitable for wall art or print.
AI can't reproduce an exact copy or near copy of any image. Professional artists have already attempted to sue ai companies for this and have yet to be successful because they weren't able to offer a single example of copyright infringement that the ai image produced. But if you're worried about it, don't use it and source other images. However the majority of images that are pre-made are also ai generated now.
A very useful video.☺️💝
Glad you found it helpful!

Ok, that makes total sense, I was focusing on your search bar. Thanks so much!
where did you get the mockup image from showing that same tshirt?
Hollymocks on etsy :)
what image style did you use to create this design?
I didn't add any styles, but feel free to try that as you may get interesting results!

How do you know AI isn't bringing up an old image that may be copyrighted?
