I used to work for Waldbaums. I worked at the Patchogue store on the corner of Waverly Avenue and Sunrise Highway part time doing Grocery. I worked there from February 2008 until it closed down and stayed with the new company until February 2019 and I only left because they moved me to another store in September 2018 and wasn’t happy with where I was. I haven’t been happy with much in life since that move in September 2018. Waldbaums days really were the best. Awesome times with awesome friends. Not many people could say they had a job that was this exciting where they busted their ass and had fun at the same time. Long live Patchogue Waldbaums store 241.
@SchindlerHaughton It's good to know that there are companies out there like HSBC that truly care about their customers. Back at you, HSBC. Season's Greetings to you!
Haha even the bumpers are heavy. Quite a bit of empty space in those steel cabinets. Before 9/11 we couldn't build them fast enough; shortly after, all manufacturing returned Plattsburgh. Was a cool ass job.
@@alexweb8 8500 and 9500 look a bit different, because 8500 has Datalogic logo while 9500 has PSC logo on platter. Sometimes are some 8500s that have PSC logo on platter.

Thank you for shopping at Waldbaum’s!
So much nostalgia hearing that voice. Lol.
I was the senior US U-scan repair tech. It was a great job. Fujitsu killed it.
I miss that kind of self-checkout because that dollar exceptor and the way the cash app is awesome
I really love that self checkouts
But now it’s closed
Awesome,....I worked in the Tempe, AZ division of Optimal. It was such a new technology at the time.

They're still good machines. We often refer to Optimals as 'tanks'.
Don’t forget to take your cash located next to the receipt printer

I wish someone over here would get uscan
Seasons Greetinghs from HSBC
none of the stores near me have uscans
Datalogic Magellan 8300...my favorite scanner! LOL, those suck. IDK why, but the 8500 blows them away completely. There's no comparison.
I like Magellan 8400, it looks same like 8300.
@@adamszwarc8398 8500 is still a vastly superior scanner.

@@alexweb8 8500XT doesn't sound like 8500.
@@alexweb8 Darn it, maybe buy 30 8400s to the hypermarket checkouts?
