These are the fastest- and probably most reliable- point-of-purchase recyclers in the industry. I didn't know the coin recycler itself was so complicated.

I wonder if a piggy bank might be able to work with slightly modified firmware.
Then, just stash all of your money into it and type in the exact amount you need out of it. Maybe have a pincode system to 'separate' out the piggy bank into different amounts for multi-user family usage? Unless the existing firmware already provides that functionality.
Maybe it's possible to disconnect or shut off the LEDs in firmware as well? And with a user selection screen, it could be very quick to put money in as well.

I'm sure that's all part of his evil master plan. First he bought all their price tags, then he just had to wait until they go bankrupt as nothing had a price anymore. And now he bought the whole inventory.
