"Please wait for cashier" is the Verifone equivalent of "Waiting on Total" and Ingenico's "Please tell cashier to press the credit button." Slide the card anytime during the transaction, and when you press the credit button on the U-Scan or whatever register, the new total is sent to the pin pad and you agree to pay the amount.
FINALLY a video of a self-checkout with COUPONS. Do you know if there is a limit to how many Qs you can self-scan before having to give them to a cashier? I know at CVS, Albertson's, and Safeway, you can only scan one or two before assistance is required.

I Haven't Seen That Many U-Scan Self Checkouts In The DC Area Since The Home Depot Switched To Dell Self Checkouts In 2018.
My local shop n save used to have u-scan self checkouts then they replaced it with the classic ncr screen the the new screen
