- Showing how to replace the door window exterior trim pieces or beltline molding and the windshield edge trim moldings on a 2007 Dodge Ram Mega Cab.
The part numbers of the weather strips are 55277186AD and 55277187AD for the windshield moldings. The door belt weather strips are 55276202AH, 55276203AH, 5527030AD, and 5527031AD. Those are for the Meg Cab. The front doors should be the same on all of the trucks I would think.

thank you! 2007 Mega Cab (Silver too) and mine have the same issue, sun burned and that black tar gets everywhere, easier than what I though it would be. Did the front window ones too.

Where did you order the kit from.need this for my 06 ram quad cab.
@@jonleone777 I ordered it from Rock Auto. Be careful, Rock Auto's diagram shows that the front and rear trim are the same. They aren't as the rear is longer. Rock Auto didn't want to take the rear trim back. I ended up getting the rear trim from Dodge for double the price.

Thanks for posting this. I was trying to remove my outer front side window belt strip/swipe, but the screw just turned and did not come outward. I stopped before breaking anything and looked, but found little to no info on removing them. Then I found your video. Thanks.

It’s roof molding. Just did a quick search but couldn’t find the part number.
@@ianweight6444 do you know if it seals anything? I’m getting ready to strip my truck down for paint and body, don’t want to pull anything that’s a seal though, thanks for the info.
As far as I know it just covers up the joint where the panels are spot welded together. I’m not an expert though.

How do you replace the upper part of the seal?
The piece around the glass? You have to remove the door panel and remove the window then it will pull out. I think. Those were fine on mine but I have replaced them in older vehicles.

Yeah there are 1 or 2 aftermarket places to get them ,which is completely insane because it's such a common problem on these trucks..love my ram but dodge really cheaped out or just poor materials. Either way they suuuuuck! I've literally never seen a 3rd generation that didn't need them replaced. Garage kept or show truck, they just suck..my recommendation and as much as I hate to say it is the dealer ugh ..be prepared to faint if you buy all four doors..just simply my opinion but they cost about 6 times what I thought they should. But what can you do:/
