I’ve got the 3” Backcountry on my ‘07, the old one with the Bilsteins, extended control arms and replacement rear spring packs. Zero complaints, although I still need to add the sway bar. I’ll probably put the same setup on my ‘03, see the difference between the Bilsteins and the Foxes. I’m convinced there isn’t a better suspension out there than Carli, it’s good stuff! And always ordered through CJC
I have the back country System on my 2018 GEN4 I did the absolute whole system everything except for the radius arms that will be next, absolutely love it recommend anybody. No more Jocelyn around, teeth jarring and head banging on the B pillar, Nice and smooth.
I was finally able to buy stuff from you guys! I ordered a Thuren sway bar for my '19 Ram Cummins and a couple of shirts. I've wanted to patronize you guys for a while now for producing these awesome videos. Although the Carli sway bar looks a little nicer, Thuren was in stock so it made my decision easy. Anyways thanks again for what you do!
Lol where in California are you picking up said trucks? I got a car from Cali.. supposed to be rust free. Except it’s HUMID by the ocean. It gets every where. 73 challenger needs total resto! Every panel touched. The pedal bracket, Crusty. Roof, Toast! Hood, not usable. Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Wyoming, those are rust free states.
Need new system so bad. Watched video so many times. Im trying to save up. Hope my truck makes it til then. I cat wait tobget the back country in my 07 mega cab
Awesome kit! Do you offer anything for the 1500’s? I have a 2005 Ram 1500 4x4 with the Hemi and I love it but I’ve always wanted to put a nice suspension lift on it like this. I am in the market to buy right now so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Would you say that for the second gens the bilstein 7100 system you guys have online is the equivalent to the fox back country system? because that’s kind of what i’m looking to get for my second gen
Great video! I have an 03 2500 5.9 Cummins LWB 4X4 6 spd manual, all stock, one owner, Me. Bought it brand new. I am interested in this system for my truck, and 37's. VERY high miles 392K. I have driven it full time obviously. I always wanted a classic truck to fix up, but I never thought I would by it new and keep it until it became a classic. Will this same system work on my LWB? My steering is, and has been horrible. Recommendations? I am in the Dallas/Fort Worth area in TX. Any colleagues you recommend in this area for installation? Thanks!
Have you guys done any videos about trimming with more aggressive setups? There are a lot of wheel options that are 17x8.5 +0, which is slightly more poke and less width than the CJC spec wheels for minimum trimming.
These systems are so nice. I would love to do one but my truck has the factory air on the Ram. I would love to find out how to I can soften the front end of a stock Ram 3500. Not sure if there is a front end shock package that would help. Love watching these videos.
Is there any indication that Carli might come out with the Back Country shocks for 2nd gens? That would be the absolutely perfect upgrade for my 2nd gen.
Not likely since they already have this system specifically built and valved for 2nd gens! www.cjcoffroad.com/collections/94-02-carli-systems/products/carli-dodge-ram-1994-2002-performance-2-0-suspension-system
@@CJCOffRoad I am looking for a spring lift/level kit (2.5 to 3 inches) for my 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Mega Cab 4x4 (Hemi). Should I buy a lift for a Ram 2500 since it basically has a 3/4 ton suspension? Can find much out there for choices. I basically want to level the truck out with a little lift. Everything is stock now on 33" tires.
Took my ram to a shop in Phx, it’s been there since April and they can’t get any of Carli suspension for my 2007 truck everything is on back order. I’ll be picking up my truck in September with no Carli parts! SMH
We got your email on this topic and we're not really sure why that's happening! Your shop didn't order through us, but feel free to send them to us so we can get your truck some parts as we have almost every system on the shelf with the exception of the Dominator/unchained 6" kits.
What’s on this truck:
Carli Backcountry system:
www.cjcoffroad.com/collections/carli23
Options:
Carli torsion sway bar
Carli full replacemnt rear leaf pack
Carli high clearance control arms
Carli diff guard
Carli low mount steering stabilizer
17” Innov8 G400 Wheels
www.cjcoffroad.com/collections/innov8-racing/products/innov8-racing-g400-forged-17x9-beadlock-wheels
There's a typo in the description; "Remi and Cummins" instead of "Hemi and...".
What tires??
I have a 3500 3rd gen with the Carli 5 leaf add a pack. Doea, that mean I have to replace it with a full progressive leaf spring or am I good to go?
Can't wait to get my 6" back country shocks, it's the only thing I'm missing on my 2012.

I totally recommend this system. I got the 6" back country for my truck absolutely a beast. Can't wait to upgrade shocks 😜
How long have you had your 6"back country?
2 years . And it's a used kit I bought off Facebook.🙃
I had that exact Ram, talk about bringing back memories!
I drive an 2004 2500 just bought it love it so much making memories with my family and getting work done

Great content. Long to see content on the 6" back country.
Beautiful truck
Love 3rd gens man! I think if I could get California quality rust free trucks I'd trade in my 4th gen on a 3rd gen lol 😆 😅

Is this suspension set up only for the 2500 & 3500 Dodge Rams? Or would it work and be good for a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi?
Sadly these systems are for the solid axle HD trucks only.

Spot on! The Backcountry actually used to be a Bilstein system before Carli switched 03+ to Fox 2.0s.

This sane system works on a long bed! Shoot us an email and we'll be happy to help recommend parts and a local installer: sales@cjcoffroad.com
Nice, Do you have carli outs for 2003 Silverados?
Nice rig.
How can I install something like this with an early gen 3 with torsion bars...damn
Have you guys done any videos about trimming with more aggressive setups? There are a lot of wheel options that are 17x8.5 +0, which is slightly more poke and less width than the CJC spec wheels for minimum trimming.
It's basically the same trimming, just more aggressive! 0 offset requires more pinch weld, more fender and more bumper to clear 37s.

Sounds like the parts I need you’re 2 months out. Provided contact info in last email to shop.
Is this an automatic truck? What gear ratio is the truck?

@@CJCOffRoad thats the original gear ratio?
Suspension is gonna last 100x longer than the rest of the truck
