If I'm reading your statement correctly you said you have 9.5 +35 and also 5mm spacers so netting a +30 offset on a model 3 performance? If so that's corroborating why we say that's a smart option because it will provide adequate clearance. A lot depends on how rigid your wheel is as well. Not all wheels will react the same.
@@zevcentric I agree. But 19x9.5 can have more aggressive offset, like +40 without any issues. About sidewall also true. But nowadays performance tire have stiff sidewall with exceptions like a052. But you already know it.

unlikely. range improvement is related to low rolling resistance tires more than wheel diameter or weight. In addition to that is wheel design.
