    Omg! Thank you sooo much for taking the time to recreate this desk and filming the process! I just saw the desk on pinterest and was bumped out, that i would have to figure out how to remake it - so thank you soo much, loved the tutorial! 💖 I‘m gonna try and built it next weekend😻

    Great job.. it looks amazing.. at 5.52 in the video, you connect two points on every stick.. though earlier on the video, you have explained just one of the points.. how and where to put the second point on each stick to make it a pair ? Thanks..

    • @hannahwhite6516
      @hannahwhite6516 Рік тому +1

      I think the other point comes from laying the whole thing flat, and laying a straight piece across where the metal rod will go :)

    • @FashionAttack
      @FashionAttack  Рік тому

      @@hannahwhite6516 correct!!! the top point is a simple straight line from where you place the metal, the second point has to be made when the desk is already "fold" so to see up to where yo want the sticks to fall

    Is color-tinted stain a thing? The grain in beautiful and shouldn’t be hidden but it needs pop, so maybe a warm toned pink orange?

    It looks amazing, I've thought about this desk for a while.
    Going for a natural effect I'd stain with wood stain from light to dark but for you with your impact vibe I'd be tempted to go for a sunrise colour sceem or a rainbow vibe, painting or paint and water mix so the wood grain comes through. Each slat a blend of the slat before and after like an ombre rainbow with a beautiful green for the desk table like a field.
    I just had a thought, you could easily downsize this desk to small shelf size for babies room. As baby gets older you just repaint them to update the theme. You could even go with a metallic paint to give that industrial look.

  • @kfitz192
    @kfitz192 Рік тому +2

    The desk is fabulous! I wouldn't paint it. I'd lightly stain to enhance the beauty of the wood.

    • @FashionAttack

    • @FashionAttack
      @FashionAttack  Рік тому

      no real reason :) you can totally do that but my channel is about finding cheap and easy solutions for everything. most of mt viewers do not have a router so i wanted to find an alternative. buttttttt if you have a router GO FOR IT! it's the same instructions but instead of passing the metal behind it goes in sideways

    Really nice job. Good video. I would politely suggest you hire a video editor (find a UA-camr that’s in your area) and just go through audio editing with them. Volume was wild out of control in the video.

    • @FashionAttack
      @FashionAttack  Рік тому

      wowwww you caught me! i do have a video editor but i was doing the voice over of this video while traveling so i made it with my phone and it resulted so differently from the camera audio. so it was hard to match the 2 audios

    Maybe I think for nice look after open the table, you need make a short straight hole(use router) in the middle of each standing wood. And use long metal to connected it.
