Just bought one. It's a 2015 w/9K on it. Thank you for the video, as it saves me an immense amount of time trying to figure out all of her features. The car is really a well made and thoroughly thought out. If anybody out there is hesitant about getting one, don't be.
Love the car...I actually have the same vehicle but mine is in black and has a few more bells and whistles...Intelligence package, upgraded seats and roof window. The car is beast...I went from a Yukon Denali to this...no regrets!
Got my wife a 2016 RT/Plus in Plum Crazy Purple for a Christmas gift. She wouldn't let me drive it until about a week ago and I will be getting one for myself for Christmas this year....a Scat Pack Shaker. Such an incredible car to drive.

If the back seat is tight for you then you must be well over 5'11" tall because I just saw a video of a 5'11" tall man sitting comfortably in the back seat with plenty of room. Plus the way that driver seat was all the way back is not normal unless you are a giant. The back seats are one of the selling points of this car compared to the competition.
DavidElCid300 I have a '13 Challenger and I have to drive with the seat all the way back. I am not a giant, I'm 6' tall. There is NO leg room in the back seat with my seat all the way back. That 5'11" tall man sitting comfortably had to have had the front seat moved up.
+DavidElCid300 I have this car, in black, my kids sit just fine, 9 and 11, I am 6'1", but I do bring the seat up a tad. The kids say it has lots of room, not like ample mind you...
Remember back in the 80's the Cougar? It is a lot like that, it isn't as roomy as the Charger, but it isn't awful either.
Watching these videos gives me nostalgia to when I was like 5 and used to watch UA-cam toy videos on my moms phone

Just now watching in 2024. Just picked up a 2017 SRT, loaded with Nav. Prev owner lowered it, put braces under hood & deep in trunk, catch can too for tracking

Excellent review as always! I have been seduced by the Challenger V8 my entire life... Finally got the RT Plus Shaker 6 speed 345 Hemi a few years ago... The driving experience is unmatched in my opinion, if you are a Muscle Car enthusiasts...

I love the black striping on this SRT. I've never seen another SRT 392 with this style striping. It's very reminiscent of the AAR Cuda's from the early 70's. Can anyone tell me if this an aftermarket stripe or can it be ordered from the factory?
a great contender to the mustangs and camaros, i used to be a mopar guy lol, still like them though, lol. i rent the dodge rams all the time lol.

Love this car. Guess what? Got one with a black fuel door AND dark tinted windows. I know it IS 9 years old but mine has less than 20,000 miles. FUN. Oh, yeah. Mango is a pretty color but mine is redline red. Can't say I mind.

I'm surprised the in-dash display didn't flash "SRT" upon starting the car. I know the Hellcat cat has its own graphic when you start the car and the Scat Pack has its own graphic when you start the car and I thought the SRT 392 did too?

I just bought a 2016 SRT Granite in color and i understand your name is printed on the window sticker. I am trading in my 2014 Chevy SS. It does not even come close to this Dodge in looks, performance or comfort. I have owned many muscle cars in my life IE 442 Grand National, Corvette but none drives like this. Thanks for the nice video.

Awesome Robert, I have had many cars in my day as well, but my SRT Challenger is the best all around ride that I have had.
Best review I've seen by far. Just got a smoking deal on a 2016 still on the lot at a local dealer. Only about 100 miles into it, but damn this car is fun.
@Josh Daley same engine in the cars. Scat pack has the r/t badge the bee and one has the srt badge
The only complaint I would have is that it has all those technology features yet no nav screen? Seems like that would be a pretty good thing to have

thanks for this helpful video cause it really made it much easier for me to skip some of the owner Manuel pages.
and I did what you said and more...tainted the windows and changed the fuel door and also installed sill door guards and splash guards.
was about to put a Rim guards but because I got the RedLineRed I didn't go will with the Rim Guards cause it was bright red.

How is it doing? Word on the street is the 6.4 doesn’t do well with boost like the 6.1
Good video. I was actually considering a 2016 Camaro but now I'm leaning toward the SRT because it has more of a back seat for my two kids. I've been doing some research on the SRT to see what's it like inside in outside. I'm in Korea now and will be ready to buy one around August 2016. How much does that model cost with a sun roof? Can you sit in the back seat so we could get a feel of what it looks like? Again this was an awesome video and it helped me a lot.
+Detroit1030 This challenger is the roomiest of all the pony cars. I test drove each just to make sure I wanted the challenger and I am extremely happy with my SRT!! You won't be disappointed. I am 5'-11" and I put my whole family in there with me. Wife and 3 kids which includes a car seat. We fit comfortably. I traded in my 2015 RT shaker for the SRT. I am extremely happy with the upgrade. I lost my sunroof with the deal but all the extras made up for it. Good luck!!!

Awesome!!! Its so nice to see a car review in 4K. I haven't found many in 4K, well not ones I want to watch anyways. I bought a new iMac w/5K retina display about 4 months back and the picture is so crystal clear. Especially watching 4K videos. Hold up Hold up!!! Did you just say look at how wide the rear tires are? lol Everybody knows the Hellcats and SRTs need wider rear tires. Anyhoo...Great review! Id spec one out like that minus the graphics on the side and with the addition of the Laguna leather. Regardless she's a beauty! MOPAR 4 LIFE!!!!!

Just a beautiful car and great job Dodge for the interiour of the 2015 model...First i was not so happy with the split taillights but it does goes very wel with the car! I love the challenger model 2015! Too bad i live in Europe and a car like that is not financially interesting here with that 6.4 Hemi and our gas prices...otherwise i would be cruising right now instead of drooling at your video :-D...My favorite is the car in white with the black stripes running over the whole length of the car! Only thing I hate about these cars are the grilles. If there was a way to take off the chrome pieces and just having the plain grill like a hellcat would be so nice.
For the record that Challenger has more leg room in the back than any other 2-door muscle car I've seen. You must be really tall my friend lol.

In the market for a 2015 or newer Scat Pack or SRT. Trying to decide if the cost increase on the SRT is worth it over the Scat Pack. I watched a 30 min review on the RT Scat and other than the wider tires and better suspension on the SRT, didn't see a whole lot of difference between the 2. Still trying to find more out to help me decide
+Shawn Christiansen I don't know if you've made your decision yet but here's what I want to do:
For starters, the SRT 392 and the Scat Pack both have the same 6.4 liter Hemi engine and they both put out the same 485 HP and 475 ft lb torque. I won't be racing or taking this to the track, I will daily the Challenger. Some will say why buy it then if you wont race; because racing isn't everything and it's a sweet car to daily. Because of this I do not need the SRT 392. The SRT 392 is mainly geared towards racing and has better racing suspension, breaks, cooling etc and it has a slightly upgraded interior. I don't need to pay the extra cash for racing suspension, breaks, cooling etc and the extra goodies on the inside really isn't much and isn't worth the extra cash for me.
So ask yourself this: do you want to use the Challenger for racing or as a daily? If you want to use it for racing get the SRT 392. If you want to use it as a daily driver like me, get the Scat Pack or even the 5.7 Hemi.

This video is amazing I just purchased a 2017 392 SRT hemi in the same color go mango and I love it. However I would love to put the exact stripes on my car. I'm trying to find them. Do you know where to get these same stripes. I have the same wheels I just rented my windows all I'm left with is these stripes.
What's the tire and rim specs on the srt8? I can't find specs for it anywhere, I was planning on getting this but I want to beef up the rear tires to something like 315's

Just drove one of these cause I'm bout to buy a new pony car. The stance and exterrior are nice but the interior or cockpit is so blah. I know it's all about the horse power but when I'm going to be spending the large amount of my time inside the car it's made me lean towards the Mustang GT Premium. I've also driven the Camaro but once again Ford really just has these guys beet on cost and what you get inside out out

Got one year and half ago. SRT392 and I love it.
so thats what that dimmer ring on the right does! i been trying to figure out what that 2cd dimmer dial does in my new R/T, but doesn't seem to do anything at all. am i supposed to have ambient lighting in my 2020 R/T? is it an option or a standard feature? maybe mine didn't come with it

Hi, Im planning on buying a muscle - sports car and my two fav choices are the mustang gt and the Challenger SRT 392, But Im really confused, I really dont know which choice is best. The challenger costs USD80k and the Mustang Gt USD60k. Im from Guatemala and these cars are very expensive here, there is a 20k difference but seems pretty the same to me, which one would you recommend¿.?

Todays version of the 392 hemi Engine doesn't actually have the hemispherical combustion chambered heads or correct valve porting .. Wow.. damn they look good..

No it is a different system. For the price... I would go with an aftermarket sub for the Charger anyway.

Thx, Mike. Is the steering hydraulic or electric? I thought maybe the higher- end models would have hydraulic steering,but the dealer said they are all electric now. With this kind of power wouldn't the electric steering present a big problem if it failed? i'm longing for this car.
