    During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
    FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHANNEL SEE BELOW: In this channel you will find in depth educational videos of automobiles from all over the world, presented in a more detailed fashion than ever before. Basically, this gives the viewer the chance to view the most detailed 1st person look you can get without going to an actual dealer yourself! Every video is consistent in the way I present so viewers know what to expect in my presentations. I treat every vehicle with the same respect whether a 1960 Chevrolet Impala SS or the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador. I film all types of vehicles from past, present, and future while broadening the knowledge of the automotive enthusiast. You will see everything from vintage, brand new, exotic, mainstream, old, etc. I am very proud of this channel and have built it up from amateur videos years ago to what you see today. Driving hard and I can get 14-16 MPG. Highway at 75 MPH and I'm at 22 MPG. 55-70 morning commutes using cruise and ECO mode and I do better than 26 MPG. This SRT 392 is an amazing car!

    I bought one of these bad boys after watching this review and I love it. Mine is redline red with the leather interior and it is the funnest car I have ever owned or driven. Don't let the performance fool you into believing the car cannot be economical. I have taken it on several long trips and in the default mode with economy setting I averaged 24 mpg with the cruze set at 80 mph. This is a great car!

    I've owned my Charger SRT 392 for going on two weeks and I must agree with the review. It's an awesome fun car that is also hugely practical. I have been able to get 27.4 MPG on my commutes and stay north of 20 MPG under faster driving. Fit and finish is very good and the comfort bests a lot of cars. In Street mode I made 0-60 in 4.4 seconds with two people in the car. And this thing is a totally fine for daily family duty. You'll need an M5 to get this level of practicality and this car is more fun than an M5, though it does not handle quite as well. Much of the credit goes to the 8 speed auto. As Kyle points out, it makes the Hemi sing. In track mode this beast can hang with a lot of two seat sports cars, then put it in street mode and take the kids to the movies. See one in person: I have never had a car command attention like this one does. Three people have actually asked to have pics taken with it. The last time that happened with a car I owned was with a fully restored MG.

    • @dogdaybreak3157
      @dogdaybreak3157 8 років тому +5

      +Robert Brody 27.4 mpg in an 392 SRT? Is your commute a 10 mile drive in neutral? LOL. What a crock of shit. Drive this car with any amount of fun in your blood, you'll be lucky to average 18mpg.

    • @robertbrody4032
      @robertbrody4032 8 років тому +6

      I own and drive the car. 50 miles each way from upstate NY to City Island, average speeds of 60-70 MPH using street/ECO mode. There is no problem getting MPG in the high 27-29 MPG range. Driving to PA I can get 25-26. Yes, if I drive the car harder it will drop into the teens, but the SRT 392 typically drinks less than my Jeeps. My friends Hellcat can get 24-26 MPG if driven easy. Pretty amazing for all the power on tap.

    • @tammowhs
      @tammowhs 8 років тому

      Excuse me for asking, but what means MPG? Miles per ...? Sry i'm from Germany, so i dont know 😁✌🏻

    • @robertbrody4032
      @robertbrody4032 8 років тому

      Miles Per Gallon. Example: The SRT 392 can get 25-26 MPG more or less (highway), but expect much less driving in the city or driving fast.

    Just bought one of these, in part based on this review. Absolutely love the car so far and it's a major head-turner about town. It's much more of a 'luxury car with a ton of performance' than a pure muscle or performance car, if I had to categorize it. But what it is more than anything else is a pleasure to drive and own. More than enough acceleration and performance (I traded in a Hennessey supercharged 2012 Challenger for this car) without all the 'bitchiness' you usually assume with a muscle car.

    • @atx-cvpi_99

      And the only true American Muscle sedan still in production today. Ford needs to compete with the Dodge Charger and they can make it handle around tracks and drag strips like the 2020 GT500 can. Basically I would like to see Ford make a sedan based on the new RWD based Ford Explorer and the next gen Mustang. I would even like Ford to put a V8 in a 4 door sedan again. Last time Ford put a V8 in a sedan sold in America was the Ford Crown Victoria.

    Kyle, I just wanted to thank you for this in-depth review of the new SRT charger. Thanks to you I bought a Phantom Black SRT in May. It's an excellent car. I came from a 2012 Subaru Legacy GT and I can't say how happy I am that I made the switch. And in case anyone is interested, I ran a 12.9 @ 110 at the track a few weeks ago. There is no doubt that in the right hands this car will do the 12.4 they say. The U-Connect is FAR better than the infotainment system in my Subaru. The fit and finish is great as well. I was thinking about getting the Hellcat Charger but it dose not offer some of the comforts of the SRT, and being that this is my 3 season daily driver that matters to me. Don't get me wrong I would love to have the HC but as a second car. Anyway Thanks again, Dodge should give you a commission on these videos.

      I thought the same thing until I saw it in person.. the 2014 looks super old compared to this one's face.. the DRL's and projectors give it a very nice look, it is a bit too round for my liking but yeah, I still think this is a little better.. heh.

      It does some some similar designs still and I could see someone who's not a dodge fan like me confusing the 2 from a distance lol. But that's many manufacturers now, it's like the slap nearly the same front end on all their line up.

    Great review. I just bought a 2016 Charger SRT exactly like this one in the video except with all black suede & alcantara interior. After owning a 15 Challenger SRT 6spd manual I was hesitant to get an automatic but I wanted the 4 doors and obv the Chargers are auto trans only. But I was very impressed by the 8spd auto and your absolutely right about Track mode, bangs thru the gears way faster than I could shift my manual. Very happy with it. Great vid nice job !

    The SRT model doesn't look so bad in fact i like it more than the 11-14 over hanging front grille of the SRT Charger.
    But as far as the V6- V8 models go; these things are butt ugly. i've seen em in person... only the white color on these look decent, the black grille blends well with the white. The rounded face just isn't doing anything for this car.
    Dodge really dropped the ball with this redesign that wasn't even needed. I loved the 11-14 styling, they should of ran with it for another 2-3 years.

    I'm a huge fan of this new 392, some say it looks like a star wars inspired front end with a dart, back but I saw this in person and it literally blew my mind of how much it just works as a package. The sound is bone rattling :[ Great review Saab! huge fan :)
