I've said it since day 1, this is the best car content coming out of our little island hands down. Never disappointed. I love Reuben's plan with the Laurel, the kit and wheels are gonna make it look mad aggressive. Lads honestly keep this stuff going cause it's only getting better by the week. I have had almost the exact same experience as Reuben: RB25 S1, standard exh manifold, Z32 AFM, Power FC, 550cc injectors, HKS GT-RS, 1 bar boost and 18 years / 38 events of trouble free thrashing. Reuben is a man I could definitely share a pint or three with & discuss the absolute beauty that is a basic setup!
So excited to see the 86, the laurel and flips rx7 all on the road together!
Gonna miss that version of the Laurel, definitely an influence on me pursuing a C35. Hyped for the next evolution!

Reubens Laurel is one of my favorite cars ever! I've been watching drift culture since 2005. I love the retro style. I was actually star struck when I met Reuben at his pit/depot spot at Gatebil Rudskogen, he was there alone and with a girl I think. Reuben looked so tired and down I didn't dare to "bother" him, I'm sorry for that and I wish I had introduced myself and said something uplifting instead. Anyways I love what you guys do and the passion for fun machines, it does motivate me just watching you. Keep up the good work. 👍 Cheers from Marius - Norway.
I really enjoyed this. Reuben has always been a bit crazy in the videos but it was nice to just have a calm and personal tour of his car. Looking forward to seeing "phase 2" :)

What I would do is redo the advan red to match the bumpers, small twist on a classic but then it all matches without losing the jdm stickets

Loved this car since the second I saw it, had never seen a c33 laurel before. Its great how practical it is and how well its been used. Sad to see the advan livery go but excited for v2!

If you build your car too nice you'll be afraid to enjoy it. The best cars are a little used around the edges! Love seeing Ruben in the videos, his car is one of my favorites on the channel! I can't wait to see what he does with it next!

The amount of trackdays I go to where people spend huge money on the greatest mods possible then spend the day led underneath the cars or are terrified of stuff going wrong. My car has fairly basic suspension/brake/safety/cooling upgrades with pretty much stock engine and I’ve done years of trackdays/Nurburgring trips all driving there and back. I’d love something crazy, but simple is often the best!

Been waiting for this video, I frickin love the Laurel and can't wait to see V2! I love how you keep referring to it as a "cheap, basic build". Y'all are extremely fortunate in Ireland having access to a lot of JDM parts. Just those brakes and gearbox would be BIG money here in the states.

The Advan livery was amazing, and I reckon whatever you land on with the new kit will be amazing as well.
We never got any of the fun versions of the Laurel here, I think most all I've ever seen were the shoddy 2.8 diesel version, but I did always appreciated the boxyness of it!

I'd love to see the Laurel 2-toned to match the kit and black on top.
Riveted wide arches are one of those things you either love or hate, I personally love them, particularly when added to an actual race car, or at least a car with a modified engine. This generation Laurel is really cool in my opinion, they're a great fkn platform, everyone on the MarkII/Corona chassis, but the Laurel is just as good. Four thumbs up for the way you build it, I'd absolutelyove to have this one 👌🏻🖤🏴☠️
Im a big fan of the Nsyle arches, they do a very decent job
