What are these specific ingredients that could be a danger? What are the good ingredients or dyes are safe? How many ingredients are in inks? See i hear "it could be bad or dangerous, or fake" but what else? Like will it say "lead". I mean thats dramatic but u know what im saying? Marketing costs a lot
I've bought Mom's for years. One year, I saw Amazon had the portrait color set for 25 bucks. Pulled the trigger and the first test with the white and yellow gave me a horrible reaction. Tried again thinking maybe I got something in it myself. Nope, contaminated ink.
...does any of those brand react with chlorinated water...that's the question...drop test a few chlorine (bleach) on it..check if it fades...does distilled water makes a difference?
I wonder if top tattooers who do traditional tattoos use MOMS. The black pigment they use looks solid, I'm sure their packing saturation techniques also make a big difference
That's not the problem.. Suer it can provide solid pigment and strong color.. But it could be made out of toxic material like metal oxides and even mercury... They don't follow international FDA laws... That's a huuuuge risk and the effects on the body can be unpredictable
Ive used quite a few but for coloring Eternal , Intenze , and Starbrite colors . for Black ink been using Dynamic ink for about 8yrs now before i would use Kuro Sumi black ink never let me down
I just tattooed fake skin for the first time recently, and i have no real reference. But i do need to buy some new, GOOD ink and do it again to see what changes I notice.
MOM's Milenial ink is by far the first thing that comes to mind when I think fake ink. Tried their "nuclear UV ink" it wouldn't stay in my skin no matter how hard I shoved it in there or went over it. So when I reviewed the product and gave an honest opinion I received a refund for both the UV inks. That's how I know that brand is total shit. I've used Radiant and Dynamic off eBay. One Dynamic Heavy White doesn't seem to work like the Carolina Blue I got. The Radiant Irish Green, Blood Red, and Turbo Black hasn't seemed to give me as many issues.
Thanks allot man! This cleared alot of my questions. I have one more tho if I may, How about east indian ink? It's been used alot aswell with stick and poke tattoos, and it's really affordable. Can you use that with tattoo machines? Or is it also better not to use in general? Kind regards and keep up the good work. Yay learning🥳
@@Tattooing101 hello thank you you're right I should have watched this video before I bought white on amazon from king ink but damn I have a streptococcal or cellulitis infection I take antibiotics for 10 days
i only use eternal and solid ink love these two brands just a lil pricey 😭 ya i bought fake ink from amazon it was garbage 😭 the practice skin wouldn’t take it
What are the top 10 reputable ink companies you would recommend? I am in the planning stages of two full sleeves but I don't want to get it done by someone who is greedy who would use cheap ink and cause or increase chances of cancer. I read a new study that some inks include auto body paint in it. Who would want that in their body and ask for slow painful death? Most important question is that even though somebody is a famous tattoo artist how do I know what are the ways to know that artist is using safe reputable ink? Thank you in advance for all the information guys
ok ok ill be totally honest when i first started i got 3 different brands off amazon but figured out who the fakes where pretty quickly and lucky found two sellers of viking ink and intenze that seem to be real i took them to a local supply shop to show the artist that owns it and he was shocked i was able to find real ink on amazon but it also wasnt cheap either. the viking ink was affordable but pretty decent amd the intenze is amazing i actually used them on myself and have had no issues at all with it. but the first brand i got that was absolutely fake i ended up getting a refund from amazon for it as if you notify them for selling fake products they will remove the item so that seems to be decent of them at least? its funny cuz the ink i got from a local tattoo shop i actually like less then i do my ink from Amazon. who knew that id actually like Amazon's ink more. I also wont tattoo anyone not even a friend or family member other then myself until ive completed my course im taking. with covid in my area becoming an apprentice is almost next to impossible right now. im also in Canada i dont no if its different where you are? i love watching youre videos even if i already covered a certain topic i still want to go over it and learn others tips and tricks they learn along the way. you can never learn enough plus it helps youre fine as hell to haha
@dnttripaha7003 I bought a few different styles, but I'm running a pen style machine I got on amazon that works like a champ until I can get a professional one.
I got red ink off Amazon and when I gave myself a tattoo it gave me a nasty staff infection. I was so pissed I wish I could have gotten my hands on them. I was new to buying ink so at least I learned my lesson and know better now.
When I use some ink that I thought it was real good ink . Well it got really light I put some lips on my boy and now it looks very light pink when I use red
I have a tattoo using fake eternal ink from aliexpress (China).... In the beginning it was nice... Then it changed color and oxidised... Also gave me health issues that I never had before... I had to laser it out and do chemical peels to get it out of my system... Its a nightmare
Got a kit from my BM and it came with ink it worked but it was definitely ass Ink trash af, Switch to a mast wireless machine and dynamic ink. Amman that shit WAYYYYYY better. Sticking with dynamic and mast So far been really good
Sooo trueee man i just started learning tattooing and didn’t know where to buy so went on Amazon as its being convenient way and got dynamic ink and it was the worst experience buying it first it was okay on fake skin after that it was just giving watery effects and not stick to fake skin
If it was a really large Ink manufacturer then it could have been just a machine failure. Or an employee that forgot to drop it in before sending the bottles into the filler machine to fill a new lot number.
Stuff like Dynamic, Fusion, Solid, Eternal, etc is all good to use. I'd recommend buying directly from the Brands site to ensure that you're getting an authentic product.
I wouldn’t recommend it in my opinion the ink is really thick and hard to tattoo with I like solid ink, fusion , or eternal for color and dynamic for linework
That’s very weird all ink needs to have an expiration date on it in order for it to be checked by local health inspectors and so you know when you need to Dispose of it does it say anywhere that you have one year from the manufacture date on it before you have to dispose of it
@@Tattooing101 I didn’t see anything printed on the bottle but I thought that maybe I washed it off because I always wipe the bottles with 90% alcohol after using them
I got an assortment of HAWINK colors from Amazon and the yellow holds in the fake skin, unlike the terrible practice inks. I see you may have some behind you and hope I made a good choice with this purchase :)
I would suggest to people to not throw expired ink away, but to use it to practice/learn color mixing.
Yes
What are some of the reputable companies you would recommend that sell the brand inks at 5:11 ?
I only buy from either my pmu beauty supply for electrum but i order my world famous & dynamic from local tattoo suppliers
What brands do you recommend for allergy sensitivity
thanks
I have a doubt, it has an expiration date on the bottle, but will it last a lifetime on the skin? Strange...
I got black ink from amazon and it did nit run well into the skin as well!! tIt was runny even after i shook it smh
Can u post links where u order ur ink
I buyed world famous ink frm Amazon, and tht was not original...
yall couldn't just order off painful pleasures?

So where would you recommend buying ink from without a license
I'd like to know
I buy ink from Amazon, however I buy Kuro Sumi which I know by shipping information that it’s coming directly from Kuro Sumi not anywhere else.
I've bought Mom's for years. One year, I saw Amazon had the portrait color set for 25 bucks. Pulled the trigger and the first test with the white and yellow gave me a horrible reaction. Tried again thinking maybe I got something in it myself. Nope, contaminated ink.

I bought MOM brand off Amazon and the black is really nice and it stays black. The colors stay pretty true after healing aswell
I wonder if top tattooers who do traditional tattoos use MOMS. The black pigment they use looks solid, I'm sure their packing saturation techniques also make a big difference

I came here to get recommendations on what ink to buy and that wasn't the ink I got
Very informative! Thanks for the knowledge! I was wondering if you could do a video on UV tattoo inks, I can't seem to find much info on them.
They arnt recommend to use. That’s why I never use them on clients. And the colors don’t look well without black light
I just tattooed fake skin for the first time recently, and i have no real reference. But i do need to buy some new, GOOD ink and do it again to see what changes I notice.
Worldwide tattoo and Dynamic has their own Amazon store.😅
For real?
I bought some Solong ink and so far, I hate it. It's thick as hell and it does not flow out swiftly.

Indian ink is non sterile so air can cause a lot of issues. I recommend dynamic it’s affordable and works awsome

Tattooed my real skin with fake ink.

Red is a tricky ink to be using anyway.
I use tattoo supply places like
International tattoo supply in Chicago or monstersteel
Is Worldwide Tattoo supply a reputable seller?
Yes I have used them before

How do you feel about dynamic ink
I appreciate this video but anyone who provides information but says "eXpecially" wavers my trust.

I got my allegory BLAK from Amazon and it seems real …is this just common with colors or also with blacks ?
What about hawink from Amazon? The eticket says sterile? Can i assume its safe?
Activated charcoal should only be used for tattoo link, anything else is criminal.
Can you do a video on medical skin tone ink? I can’t find any videos on these inks.
Whats the most secure and chemical less ink do you recommand for us that get tattoos?
Can I use Indian ink from Michaels or hobby lobby
Or Dr ph martins for just lettering
DragonHawk from the website? How do you feel about this ink??
And how do u know if it's eternal

Kingpin. Tattoo supply
What do you think of Caterpillar ink

nice face tat
A 6 color Radiant set came w a kit I bought and one bottle didn’t have the shaker ball in it. Is that bad?
If it was a really large Ink manufacturer then it could have been just a machine failure. Or an employee that forgot to drop it in before sending the bottles into the filler machine to fill a new lot number.
What if the ink we bought has no exp date?
Do not use it on human skin
What is the reputable ink????????
Solid eturnal. Or for black dynamic
Anyone know anything about stigma tattoo ink?
I’ve used it. It’s not bad.
where can i get good inks from?

No dynamic is great

My eternal ink doesn’t say any expiration date. I bought it in September in a tattoo supply shop
