Despite using fake skin, this is one of the best lining tutorials I have seen (and I’ve seen a lot). The key value is in the theory, which is dripped out at appropriate moments through the demonstration. Don’t be tempted to skip and watch bits and pieces, this one’s well worth being patient. Great work!
Appreciate the support, Steven!
Yes I've watched alot. Daniel Yuck does awesome vids...he is really talented. I'm enjoying this vid and learnt something I didn't know. Really cool
You fucked up the arrow on the feather part... So sad everything else was 👍 Stop rushing your work... I give you a 0% for fucking up...

How much does tatoo card cost
That's how a tutorial supposed to be. No click baits, no chit chat, pure knowledge from experience. Kudos ❤
Laser surgery...HOW TO ERASE STUPID TATTOOS!
Q-switched lasers - which release energy in a single, powerful pulse - are often the treatment of choice for tattoo removal. A special type of laser - called a Q-switched Nd:YAG - might be used on darker skin to avoid changing the skin's pigment permanently.
Dude those first 10min are solid gold, ive seeen a lot of tutorials (most of them really great) but none gave me those tips on holding the machine like that or turning it. Thank you!
This tutorial just taught me more than a whole year of an apprenticeship has. Thankyou so much!
Really? What did you actually learn then?
@@100navat how to sweep the floors
Sad how they works huh?
So dramatic 🥱🙄
@@Lcashaylovemost mentors r top tier gatekeepers so no, not dramatic at all. 🫵🫵🙇♀️🙇♀️🙇♀️
I'm a beginner with extensive drawing experience, 25 years, this is by far the ultimate training for understanding how to succeed in tattooing. Great job! Looking forward to seeing more. Kristine ❤
I've been tattooing for over a decade, and I'd have to say that the Vaseline really isn't for the needle to be gliding. In my experience, the little Vaseline applied makes the excess ink much easier to wipe off. And that's basically the idea of the Vaseline. Technically, you need no help gliding the needle..
I wrap the fake skin around something similar to the size of an arm or leg as tattooing on a flat table spinning the the design around at will isn’t going to help you prepare very well. I tattoo rounded the top of an upholstered chair held on an angle… hope this tip can help some folks out 😊
Thank you. My mentor suggested hard rolling a towel and putting the fake skin on it to simulate an arm. He also agrees with keeping your silicone client stationary. I'mma try it that way today.
Great tip! Thanks!
Genius tip! Thank you for taking the time to post it!
This is the most useful and detailed tutorial I've ever watched. I actually had to write down notes. Thank you so much for making this and sharing all of that knowledge!!
ye , me too
@@andrewpeno8259 , 2:51 2:52
Same!!! I immediately @1:27 decided to write notes
Bro you literally just killed this tutorial.. only video needed.. bro your gold because that's what your throwing out in the universe. My God
Your description of what to do/not to do is so thorough and easy to follow but your accent is the most captivating part
LMAO, thank you
That ink flow explanation makes so much sense and explains all the issues I was having in chrisp detail, nobody had an answer for why it was splattering all over the place, and it wasn't taking ink because I was hanging the needle out too much..
Thanks for this tutorial it's jam packed with good details
I’ve just begun researching and this could definitely be a master class for beginners. I’m so thankful to have seen it here! I appreciate you for taking your time out to be so thorough…thank you!! This was very informative, straight to the point, & covered simple but vital steps to learning to tattoo. 💯🙌🏾💐
I've been self teaching for a while now and my linework was pretty good but I followed some of your advice on here and saw a dramatic improvement my linework is very crisp now, Thankyou very much
Way to go man! Happy for you
I am self taught, this is honestly one of the best tutorials I've seen.
He’s giving away a lot of good information it’s all accurate and takes years to learn and you’re getting it all at once
I kind of apply most of these techniques to my every day drawings so it's comforting to know that do these already. I've just never done it on skin. I've drawn on a lot of skin, which I'm sure feels very different. You're videos have been informative though so thank you! I'm looking forward to being able to do some real tattoo work one day.
dude, in the first 2 minutes you gave me more valuable intel than in 4 years of other videos. Thank you so much
I have never tattooed in my life.
I have no intentions to tattoo in my life.
But now I know how to make perfect lines
Bro the pinky technique omg man thats so revolutionary it blew my mind!!!
You explain so clear and understandable. I love how you break everything down and teach in patience. You are awesome. Thank you for helping and taking your time to teach l. 💯🔥💜💜💜
I wanted to tell you thank you so much for this. I'm brand brand new in the tattoo world and definitely learned so much watching this. Definitely looking forward to watching more of your videos!
Happy to help!
@@Tattooing101So where can I purchase that kind of gun ?
I hope it’s going well
Everything you have said as far as mistakes, is literally something I’ve experienced and I can definitely say YOU ARE A GENIUS FOR THIS TUTORIAL! Thank you so much! (No, the mistakes weren’t on people😂 just synthetic skin).
This video was incredibly helpful thank you so much!!! You mentioned so many things which I never paid attention to so now I can improve it. Great video!!!
I am intrigued by tattooing, despite the fact that I'm most likely never going to tattoo. This is still the best tutorial video I have ever seen on tattooing. Brilliant! Answered all of my questions.
I could listen to you talk all day long. ❤ seriously though, thank you for putting such informative info out and actually demonstrating it through an entire tattoo as well. 💜💜💜
Thank you Nathan and Brandon for doing these helps understand what i been doing wrong.
This is the best tutorial I have seen on line work and appreciate how you take the time to explain every question that pops in someones mind (my mind anyways) lol..as they are learning this new art. You keep things simple and straight to the point, which makes things way easier to understand. You have an amazing knack for teaching. I have learnt so much from your videos and emails and am looking forward to watching/reading more! Thank you!
Great video! I like how he fully explains everything in full depth.
So straight to the point. You’re a talented educator- thank you soooo much for this Vid!
This is actually the best video i could find on this. There is so much detail in your explanations! And details are the key to getting it done
Im in NZ and it's just hit 12am on 1/1/23. Happy new year and thanks for the awesome tut. Im a registered nurse looking at pursuing tattooing and Im so glad your video was the 2nd video I've ever watched re: this topic (and the better one out of the two). Your my first sub for the year 🥰
best video about lining by far, and i've seen basically every single one on the internet; thank you and God bless, subscribed
You’ve hit all the points perfectly. I’ve recommended this video to the apprentice. I line the same way.
An apprentice doesn't need UA-cam tutorials. Just disease spreading scratchers and penny pushers
@@nathanprentice7230 not only
@@nathanprentice7230 the problem is much more with gatekeeping ppl who think tattooing is some elitist magic work instead of teachable (and learnable) thru all sorts of media. those ppl are the ones creating living room scratchers in the first place
@@nathanprentice7230 I can’t wait until all American traditionalists die out, imagine being pretentious enough to call people penny pushers and scratchers when your best work is probably traced from a Sailor Jerry piece just with different colors and a pop culture reference to keep it somewhat original. Gatekeeping traditionalist f*ck off!!!
By far the best tutorial I’ve ever watched about tattoo lining. It makes it so much sense. It makes it so much easier. I very knew at this and it helped tremendously.. thanks
Most helpful video on lining I’ve ever seen. Thank you so much! It was incredibly clear and helpful!
Since watching your videos and using your techniques my lines and color packing has improved. Thank you for your time and your knowledge! You are an absolute gem!
You're welcome!
Thank you so much for this!!! I've been thinking of getting into tattoing for a while now, and the past few months I became sure this is something I want to do! I am lucky cause I have wonderful people around me supporting me, just a couple of days ago my boyfriend gifted me a tattoo pen. I will binge your tutorials and try to soak up everything. Lovely of you to share your skills and tips with the world, I am very greatful!!
You just changed my life with that pinky to thumb stabilizing tip! Thanks so much!!!!
This Is Hands Down The Best Tattoo Tutorial I've Yet To See 💯... And I've Been Been Tattooing For A While Now. EXTREMELY INFORMATIVE 🎨
THANK YOU 4 THESE JEWELS
I’ve been watching tutorials and tip videos for the last 5 months and taking notes.. I spent alot buying quality everything and the rest of my setup is arriving next week.. I took notes from the videos over the last several months and thought I had all the info.. I click on this video and it has all the info I already had and so much more. By far the best tattoo tutorial on UA-cam (and I’ve watched a ton, if not all of them)
So thank you so much for taking the time to make this video with all of the great information and then some. Speaking for anyone learning that’s been lucky enough to find this video.. than you from us all! We appreciate you and this video very much!

This was amazing, thank you loads!
So helpful you answered all of my questions in one vid and I’ve watched so many
Iv seen alot of videos about this exact subject and was always left with questions and stuff not clear but this is the best one i have seen by far not even a close second. He gave nothing but important information and no wasted time or bullshit that gets people sidetracked
Appreciate the love and support!
As others have said, amazing tutorial! I have watched so many, and yours are the most thoroughly explained and pleasurable to watch. Keep it up! One question in regards to keeping the hand planted, how/what do you recommend on much smaller and curved areas such as a forearm or shin? I find it difficult to get comfortable hand placement for a longer line. Thank you!
Man this video is amazing. I have always had these issues, but I didn't know how to word the questions the correct way to fix the issues. This is amazing, thank you so much!!
Cool bro, used to do tatts 8 years ago and I want to restart, after 5 min watching this it all came back, remembered things I thought were forgotten

This was beautifully executed, visually and verbally. Impressive all the way to the extended use of the first paper towel. 😮 ❤ Thank you. 😊
I think everyone has nailed it with the compliments. I just wanted to throw my hell yeah out there, and figured my comment would help the channel. Thank you for your time, and useful knowledge.
