@mynameislameso9920 don't blame you, that artist that sid that should have known that. Even though I don't do on real skin I still spray my area and machines off and then wrap all my stuff.

@@aliengranpa yeah but I gotta practice somehow, if I'm going to tattoo other people I better get comfortable doing it on myself. I've been sketching on my thighs before I put a needle against it so if I do fuck up it's in a place no one will see. Thank you for your concern tho :)

I’ve been looking everywhere for a decent list of things to start out tattooing. I jumped the gun and bought a tattoo gun that I think will work best for me, but couldn’t start using it right away because I didn’t have everything I needed because I didn’t know. This has been, by far the best list and you explain why these things are important. Please keep doing these videos 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Love your informative videos, being someone who needed a new hobby it is refreshing to get the necessary information delivered in a clean and clear way that has no chance of a misinterpretation. Thank you for taking the time to make videos with the quality that you do.

I'm 50 years old and I love my tattoos but want more. My husband as a gift bought me a small tattoo kit. I am going to try out tattooing. He also bought a lot of fake skins for me to practice on. Thank you for your video it Was very helpful 😊
Thanks for this and all the other videos. For sharing a knowledge that comes from countless hours and sleepless passion driven nights. It is much appreciated.
you are a very nice guy to just keep it simple, plain, honest, with enough detail to start - not too much since one has to learn from experience anyway. Much appreciated.
my notes (stuff i dont have yet if u see this this isnt a full list) MadaCide CaviCide, gloves, barrier film, bags for bottles, squeeze bottles (soap, alcohol), plastic wrap, transfer paper, paper towel, distilled water, posicle sticks
Thanks so much for this breakdown, I'm literally just starting out and stressed that I would miss important details ( especially the sterilization part) . Much appreciated!!!
Thank you for the video :) I have a question please : For distilled water, for a person who don't tattoo often. Once the bottle is open, how long can we keep the water please ? And, distilled water is used for the green soap and to rinse needles ? Thank you for your answers :)
I'm Looking to get high quality needle cartridges. I am Using Mast brand ones at the moment and a Mast fold 2 Pen machine. I ordered a box of Premium finger ledge cart's. I have checked them out with my Jewlers glass and they all look good so far . I am still doing fakies until I am comfortable and know what I am doing. I love your video's you are like my mentor so far. I do NOT want to EVER give a bad tattoo so I am going to tattoo my leg first. I did do an apprentice program with a guy back in 75' and he didn't teach me right the whole deal was get em in and out as fast as you can. They did evolve into a good shop with great artist's but it took them a long time. Jay Wheeler has done work there. My big issue is what needles to use for the style of tattoo I am doing .
Hello! Great video! I was just wondering, do you need different types of alcohol for disinfecting your tools and the skin? Or is it okey to use some sort of universal spray?
Does myself really need wrap for my cord to my tattoo machine, bottles and gloves if myself is only tattooing myself? It is my own blood and such so can't myself just clean them after? What about using hustle butter deluxe instead of Vaseline? Myself has dynamic black and triple black and world famous blackout. Is that good
Yes you need to wrap your cord. Never comprise when it comes to hygiene. Regular cleaning does not guarantee killing blood Bourne pathogens. Yes you can use hustle butter, use dynamic black for lining, triple black for packing
Can i buy sports wrap and covers for my machine off of Amazon/Shein etc.? I'll buy a starter kit from Dragonhawk and they have stuff like that but i found cheaper ones on Shein? Is it worth the extra money or is i okay if i buy the covers from Shein? Thanks for the answers:)

Hello, I was wondering what jelly, or ointment do you use to put on the tattoo during the tattoo? I used a&d ointment once or twice and I'm just trying it out ☺️ need some pointers on this
DYNAMIC BLACK. is the most used black ink used in Tattoo shops and highly recommend for the Grey wash Drip technique. I would look into making Grey wash if your wondering about the drip technique
@nandoinkz8587 Thank you very much for your reply, I'll definitely look into it, so I'm assuming that the 6 drop and stuff is more for realism and black and grey designs?
