  • Flying a drone in the U.S. is usually legal. While drones may seem like they’re just fun things, they are technically aviation equipment. This means that drone users are subject to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) laws.
If you have been harassed by someone using a drone in Pennsylvania, call Cornerstone Law Firm for help.

The local electricity utility just flew a drone onto our property without asking our permission to enter our property. That is not right. The whine of a drone is much more intrusive, in a very disturbing/1984 kind of way, than someone calling us or driving up the driveway to ask permission to walk through the door property. If property owners can bring down drones in a way that would not harm neighbors, then we should have the right to privacy, right to exclude uninvited people from our property, and the right to bring down trespassing drones. In our case, pellets from a shotgun would not leave our property, though a bullet from a hunting rifle would. So I’d use a 12 gauge.

Yeah you can't shoot down a drone. Read up on the FAA law on that. Its the same as shooting at an airplane or helicopter.
