Angelina always remains true to the style of the song she covers, and in this one it was another milestone for her as was her cover of, "I Put A Spell On You" , when she was just 9 years old. This one stepped her up to a emotional artistic level beyond 99% of the top singers including Adele fans ,( I am on too ) ,sorry but that is just the way it is. Angelina is simply out of this world the Wow Wow Wow girl!!!

I normally tend to stay away from vocal coaches and voice teachers because they are constantly stopping the video to explain something that this 66 year old country boy just doesn't care about. LOL I do however, find myself coming back to your channel time and time again, so I finally hit the subscribe and notification button. The reaction on your face when you listen shows you are enjoying the music, and your 3 pauses during this video have been done in the first 30 seconds by others. I still enjoy all the music from back in the 60s and 70s from when I was growing up, but now days, I find myself listening more to a group of relatively unknown younger artists. Granted Angelina Jordan and Liliac are becoming more well known, but others like Courtney Hadwin, Maddie Poppe, Laura Bretan, The Mona Lisa Twins, Cydel Gabutero, Emily Linge, Chiara Kilching, Lotus Cole, Alyona Yarishina, Sina Drums and a young violinist named Karolina Protsenko, still don't get the attention I think they deserve. Oh and there is this cute little 6 or 7 year old that goes by Miumiu Guitargirl, that shows some real talent both singing and playing, in my opinion. Anyway... enough of the rambling, great job on the reaction and I look forward to many more.

I try not to get too wrapped up in genres, particularly when Angelina is singing. Adele is a wonderful singer. Audiences listen to her. With Angelina it is a multi-sensory experience. You not only hear her, you feel her. This is a song about the end of a relationship and I feel that pain and loss when Angelina sings it.

What Angelina does with the songs she sings can't be described or taught. Even the actual artists that create the songs Angelina covers can't deliver what Angelina can. She lets her heart produce the song. That's also how she picks songs to cover. If they touch her heart, she refines them in her heart. Then she places them into our hearts with such precision that it brings us to tears.
Valerie, always a great pleasure to have you react to the one and only Angelina Jordan, the greatest singer storyteller of my life. Angelina is The Natural, since she has never tried to be emotional while singing. She only tries to sing a song to the best of her ability and the results are out of this world and filled with emotion.
Someone mentioned how strong Angelinas voice is. So strong that unless you could muster a certain tolerance for it you would find it intimidating. And think she was screaming. I remember a very young and incredibly strong Pavarotti unnerving the meek crowd. I even remember feeling weak in the stomach when he reached for the stars. They say you can’t take it with you. The other night I answered that concern. You take with you what people have to remember. When someone is loved 🥰 you don’t think about the money. I miss Pavarotti, Joan Rivers, George Carlin and others who impressed us with a good heart ❤️. Love lives forever in our hearts ♥️
7th Heaven is Angelina's own song, she wrote it. I love her own songs. But i also enjoy how she interprets covers. I usually prefer her versions. Her tones are smoky and rich. So beautiful. Yeh, Angelina, one of my triple AAA SUPER STARS. The other two are the very young classical and crossover singer Amira Willighagen and violinist, pianist and composer Alma Deutcher. I know there are many great talents worldwide and they are AWESOME, but these 3 are the cherries on the cake. All 3 in their own musical field. I applause them, they're so good, special and unique. I,m very happy to be a huge fan of these 3 one of a kind, master artists. They're really, really, REALLY COOL.

I can never hear enough of this young lady.... This is someone else's song, making me wonder if this is going to be a part of her upcoming album or if this is a one-off. Adele's music is surely worthy of Angelina performing it and has recorded several of her other songs prior to her signing her recording contract... I notice this is the same set as Million Miles and 7th Heaven live performances were recorded (and the same piano player). I just love listening to her! I thought that Billy Holiday sang “What a difference a day makes”. But I don’t think Billy Holiday sang that song. I feel that no one has ever sang “What a Difference A Day Makes”, like Angelina Jordan. It’s my favorite song. Hopefully Angelina will always love this song. Vic Damone’s song that everyone loved “ Begin the Beguine “ wasn’t loved by him. I can’t imagine that Angelina could ever grow bored of the music she makes.

Nope, not at all. It was just different that I expected after the jazzy 7th Heaven. I was listening to her long phrases, with all the lyrics. Sometimes when I'm listening really hard, I get that "face" and people think I don't like it. lol I've been told that even from my live coaching and adjudicating. I love Angelina! ❤️

Val, whenever I hear Angelina incorporate her unique and delicate breathiness in a song I can’t help but visualize a butterfly settling on a flower. Angelina’s appearance exudes exceptional beauty, statuesque elegance, class and dignity for such a young woman. The production of the setting gives me the impression that she and the piano player are hanging out after hours in a jazz club and recording this cover. The simplicity of the setting suits her. It allows for her listeners to focus on her and her singing. I’m sure that Adel heard this performance and is quite impressed.
Valerie, always nice to see you. I know where you're coming from in regards to jazz and you were very clear about where Angelina should go in her future. Of course, you did acknowledge her mastery of all genre's and that cannot be denied so I don't believe it is bad for her to sing songs where she can deliver messages that please her. And, Valerie, Luciano Pavarotti, believe it or not, sang pop music once in a while. So Angelina's range is vast but I believe, as do you, she will never stray too far away from the music she really loves, and so do we, jazz.

Nice reaction (again)! You are right about the pop-way of singing, except if you compare it to Adeles version, you still hear some jazz influences! Not the backspace, but still the timing. And then her dynamics are more expressive than Adele. Less loud, but ... like extra musical! Champagne next to Bourgogne, to say it with your comparison! ;-)
