The first letter identifies the region (for example K for United States, C for Canada, E for Northern Europe, L for Southern Europe, S for South America...), the second letter identifies the country in some regions with different countries (I for Italy, F for France) while the last two letters identify the exact airport, and are given as an abbreviation of the full name or by other means (sometimes can easily remember the airport, while sometimes they are quite random), but in the USA only the first letter identifies the region (K for USA) while the other 3 for the name of the airport. For example: LIMC for Milano Malpensa, LIML for Milano Linate, LIRF for Roma Fiumicino, LFPG for Paris Chardes the Gaulle, EDDF for Frankfurt, KJFK for New York JFK, KMIA for Miami, KLAX for Los Angeles, KSFO for San Francisco (as you can see in the USA it is made as K+IATA code)

@@javar888 are you serious ? Those final moments are very important and this pilot did his job very nicely. We know that all flights are done by auto pilot and even landings can be done by AP.
@@joserasak done hundreds of them. If the AP is set up and no wind shear, very little correction needs to be done. Gear down, spoilers armed, fuel systems green. Then full idle , flair, nose down, R- thrust , brakes…. High speed exit. Like riding a bike.

On the EFB (the tablet on the left) it says LIMC (Milan Malpansa) for the landing. Plus if I recall correctly he flies for aeroflot. So probably not your wife's flight :D

The bigger aircraft are more stable in the air and the computer helps alot. If the pilot in a Cessna has such minimum rudder and stick input then he would crash (generalisation of course)
