Just got home in freezing U.K. weather to find none of the sockets working. Your instructions were clear, concise and I easily identified the culprit. Thank you, I am very grateful.

It was an outside light that had been left on while I was away and socket was wet - fantastic I ve sorted it. Thank you so much - xxxx

Top tip. Especially that the culprit is likely to be an appliance that deals with water in some way. Thanks for sharing 🍻

What also trips the circuit breaker is overloading, for example, an appliance that needs 20 amps plugged into a 15 amp outlet with a 15 amp circuit breaker, and a 15 amp appliance plugged into a 20 amp outlet with a 20 amp circuit breaker will ruin the appliance.

Hi. We live in a rental in Dublin and all the sockets have stopped working on half of the ground floor. (utility and garage), including the washer) but none of the fuses are tripped and none of them trip when I follow these directions to reset the breaker. Any suggestions?

Hi, we are currently experiencing this where all the sockets are out of power but the lights are working. When checking the fuse box we have seen that none of the switches are down, not even halfway like you said they might be. It doesn't look like anything has tripped. What could the issue be?
