With FSR3 frame gen enabled, set m_bLensDistortion to false in AppData\Local\Remedy\AlanWake2 enderer.ini Before close the document, remember to save the changes.
With this single change its 99.9% fixed it for me. Im now using 0.7 mod. 1440p high preset with dlss at quality and RT at max, vsync enabled in control panel. 60fps everywhere butter smooth. This is amazing!!!!! Using 3080
I recommend Path tracing on medium setting. This is because some areas of Saga are very heavy. Especially the forest at night, when it rains, before and during the Nightingale fight.
60FPS cannot be buttery smooth for frame generation. It's a base of 30FPS, so input lag there is ridiculous. If you get 90-100FPS+ with FSR 3, then we are talking business.
@@JohnnyBg2905 bumping up the settings dents fps. i rather play at 60 with mod then playing at 30-35 without it on a 60hz display. game gets very demanding when you put everything to high including RT. in either case using mod is a win win on a 30 series gpu. a gain in performance should be always nice?

@@lucagameschannel thanks a lot, it was only yesterday I got the monitor. Hopefully these settings strike the balance, I had to constantly change the settings for every different game

You write me the scenario (even hour time example, forest rain before Nightgale, it's a boulder and destroy FPS XD) that's happening to you? I ask you why in some scenarios AW2 is really heavy, especially with Ray tracing. tell me video card and settings you use in the game

@@JohnnyBg2905 well i lock it to it because my projector can only support 60. without vsync, it does go upwards of 80-90fps. what your point?
@@SkidRow1983 another question then - why would you use FG to begin with, when it's pointless if you have 60fps limited display?
