- Sorry for such a wait since my previous video. If the video editing is slightly worse it's due to a switch from Adobe Premier Pro to Kdenlive. I hope you enjoy.

Great to see even the young people jumping onto the linux and hyprtrain. This was so well explained and it felt so simple yet complex, either you put a lot of work into this or you have a talent for this kind of stuff. Either way, great vid, keep going.
Thank you so much.
@@Enviction yaa it's really a good sign that these days young people's are interested in these stuff at this age
I used to customise everything like you are doing but while doing my projects if something broke like the lsp or anything else then I wasn’t able concentrate on my project so I settled with Zed. Today, I stumbled on your video and boy I wanna set up my terminal and Neovim again. You know what I am gonna subscribe you. Keep up the excellent work. Live the dream 😇😇
Thank you. I was going to try Zed for a video. Seems like a pretty good code editor.
@@DoubleDotStudio zed is good and very stable. Much much better than VS code and you can customise is not exactly like neovim but close. Currently, I am having a dilemma selecting between kitty and WezTerm can you help?
I personally really like kitty. I had to build western from source due to a wayland issue that can only be fixed through building it locally and it landed up lagging my laptop. I’m not sure if that’s just an issue with the built version though.
I do personally like kitty with tmux more than wezterm’s multiplexer but since it’s just the terminal you could try both and uninstall the one that you didn’t prefer. Configuration is pretty simple for both anyway.
@@DoubleDotStudio I chose wezterm, it’s just that I wanted to customise my neo vim again and both can be done in lua. Plus I am a big fan of rust, so once I knew that it was written in rust I was sure. Anyways, will let you know how it goes
I’m glad you managed to choose ok. I might have to try wezterm again and give it a second chance.
Good job. I love the aesthetics of your terminal. I wish I had been doing tech stuff already when I was at your age.
Thank you!
Absolutely gorgeous. Fantastic job.
Thank you so much!
what the hellllll
absolute 5/5 content, definitely gotta spice up my terminal
Trust me u are gonna be a great developer in future
Very pretty terminal, the transparent blur & vibrant adds a lot also
Thank you.
This is really cool! I'd love to see a rundown your Hyprland configuration, too!
It’s a HyDE based installer called hyprdots which has config files. I need to have a go at ricing it.
@@DoubleDotStudio Awesome, thank you! I'll have to check that out.
Nicely done. Thanks for sharing. I see that you are using Wayland/Hyperland. I've recently installed that too and it's beautiful.
Hyprland is awesome. I've been using it for about a month and I've really liked it.
Are my headphones weird or is this an actual child?
either this is a woman or a very smart child
Even sounds british
This has to be a child…surely…
Bruh that's obviously a women
AI
AMAZING!
That looks amazing
Thanks!
Cool channel i came by today, looking forward for next cool videos like this
Thank you so much.
Yooo who this kid. Nice video buddy 😊
Thank you. :)
Very nice colour scheme! ❤
Thank you for the video, good job.
this looks sleek af
so pretty thanks for the help
Thx for answering my request and going through your setup, that's exactly all the stuff I wanted and then some more
I guess the next step for me from here is to distribute my own custom wsl linux image to use wherever and whenever I'm forced to use a windows machine in a work environment :)
You're awesome kid, ngl
In a unrelated note: I also thought you were using starship since it's default is so similar to your p10k setup. If you hadn't seen or used starship maybe check that out and see if you like it
Thank you. I used to use starship when I used alacritty on macos. I also tried it with fish on stream the other day and I like it. However, I'm not fully convinced to switch yet. :)
Would you consider doing a beginner setup tutorial? 😅 You obviously know what you're doing and I really like your presentation style 😊
Absolutely! I said I would probably do a stream like that on October 6th
This looks nice!
Thanks. :)
I've only ever used Doom-Emacs, however after watching this I plan to mess around and customize NeoVim specifically for coding :).
Nice Video! Keep it up :)
Thank you! I've never taken the time to learn emacs but I might try on a future stream. :)
Looks great! How do you set the terminal transparency?
Kitty has a config option to change background opacity
Yeah. Sorry for not answering quicker. I believe in my config it's done with kitty's transparency and or hyprland's transparency window settings.
great work!
nice video
i was wondering what is the launcher you are using here 0:18
I’m pretty sure it’s rofi but it is heavily customised to get that look.
wonderful
The background blurring is a hyprland setting?
Yeah. Hyprland lets you set the opacity and blur of layers and windows.
How are you kido?
your dotfiles still use Nvchad 2.0 , they restructured it in v2.5 and it is easier to setup and configure now
Yes but it’s quite different to set up now and it’s not super important to switch since v2.0 is still supported apparently.
What about your browser? How do you get it transparent like that? in the start?
(if it's just full window transparency that's fine, just hoping theres a way to make all background non-video content transparent)
I'm using hyprland and it's built in functionality
sweeet!
what operating system do you use
I’m using EndeavourOS with hyprland.
Can u make a complete step by step guide to setup terminal please,I am a begginer I couldn't do it.please
Yeah absolutely! I can do it on stream if you want so I can answer any questions live.
@@DoubleDotStudio when will the next stream be
Probably in a week but it’s for a game jam. After the Jam is over I can do a stream answering your question and we’ll also do some tier lists which will probably be Sunday 6th October but I’ll let you know about any changes to that. :)
can I get your fastfetch config?
Sure! I can add it to my dotfiles repo on GitHub.
Should be there now. :)
Pretty terminal. I choose lazyvim but I think nvchad is prettier
Yeah. NVChad is really easy to configure. Unfortunately, the latest version isn’t the same. If you did want to use NVChad then I would suggest a video by DreamsOfCode which has the NVChad 2.0 install command which is what I use since it’s easier to configure.
damn how old are you
i use starship for my prompt, although i use bash
I used to use starship with zsh and I'm using it for my fish testing.
Absolutely smashing content
How do you make your broswer transparent??
All of the transparency in my configs are either in app settings or it's done via hyprland which allows for transparency to be set manually for any given app.
how about "how i make my shell beautiful" ?!?
As a new name for this video or a separate one???
Damn. Want a job, kid?
lol
13gb of ram is cursed.
I have 16gb but for some reason only 13.5gb are available to use. lol
@@DoubleDotStudiothe missing ram is most likely being reserved for the IGPU on your Ryzen processor
@@andersonaraujo I thought something like that might be the case.
hey I use zellij foot zsh zoxide hyprland with frappe theme bruh
